Saw huey 4 times in the eighties up here in Boston area always loved his voice and charisma he was a huge part of my 80's music and he still has it.when i climb Jacob's ladder we'll all jam
That isn't Chris Hayes on the guitar. He normally plays on the left of Huey, (Chris left in 2001). And the guitarist on the right-side of Huey cannot be Johnny Colla (who strummed AND played the sax). Initially, I understood that John Colla remained with Huey and the News. - Shit. I'm bummed out. Jacobs Ladder is my favorite song by these guys
Saw them about 40 years ago. Tightest band I've ever seen.
I could play this intro forever
ditto that

Their sound has changed, but given the considerable passage of time and the loss of original band members they're doing well.
Awesome vocals
great sound quality! thank you for this capture! one of my favorite albums is Live at 25! I like seeing new takes , they age well!
Damn I love this song.
I think huey was a fan of the dead and dire straits. Just getting that vibe. ✌️
My favorite Huey song - although I prefer the original version without the harmonica intro better. Good audio on this, tho.

Jammin Clemmons It is Stef Burns on the guitar
Good video, but it's not the same without Hayes on guitar - especially on this song.
I didn’t think that was Hayes. I missed his playing on this.
Great playing from the replacement guy but it didn’t have the flavor of the original.
Not sure huey needs a big guitar solo
