I only and only subscribed this channel because this is really an appreciable thing that how this guy's hand was bleeding and he was still doing the work like it doesn't even matter to him. If you look close you can see how because of the pressure blood is seeping out from the bandage too.

yeah. I have the same experience while trying to remove my zenfone 2 battery. Please, can phone manufactures just not put tape in everywhere.

The first time you remove the battery it will still be glued at the bottom with a white strip.
I was able to gently pry it loose with something flat from one side all the way to the other side. (Can't re-use it afterwards)
I recommend starting from the side the speaker should be, the other side has a thin cable along the edge which you don't want to damage. That cable connects the GRND to the main board (I think, looks like it).

Thank you for the instructions. Unfortunately, removing the battery warped the metal back plate and the phone is not quite reliable. The vibrator doesn't work and the power button is unreliable. Will reopen the phone again and if it doesn't work it will be time for a new phone

Hey, I've swapped my battery and the phone works, but I have no sound and it does not charge. It doesn't even recognize USB-Cables...
Any idea what I probably screwed up?!
Well your comment is 3 weeks old and you probably found a solution but just in case, it may be that the bottom cable could not be connected properly, also the speaker may be misplaced, it has a connector too but doesn't use a cable.

I cut my finger trying to remove the battery then I later saw you did the same exact thing lol
the insertion snaps of the battery when putting back in are showing steps skipped. U are just showing the snap ins...Process is not being shown prior to just the snapping in place..

just replaced the battery and charged off add day tuned on 100%. Now the indicator is stuck at 50%. The phone did cut off and when I tried to recharge it; it doesn't pass 50%. How do I recalibrate the battery?

Аккуратно вытягивается силиконовая лента-клей и батарея освобождается без усилий и крови.
Можно предварительно поставить телефон на быструю зарядку, включить максимальную яркость и режим камеры, старая батарея прогреется и можно начинать - отойдёт без проблем.

What I did is remove the micro SD/sim module and put it on the new battery
this is the hell... i gave it up when i had to do the step of removing the old batt

I did it. My phone works but I have a problem. My battery level is always 50%. Even if I use it or i charge it. Always 50%.
u must calibrate ur battery,dude......used it until ur battery critically low,and then charge it until full 100% just wait at least 15 minutes,and turn it on....when this calibrate not working for u,...so that is battery or flexible usb board problem
Madalin Belivan that's your hardware problem. Not battery problem.
I think I read somewhere that it had to do with the connection, try checking all the connectors.

Привет телефон нормальный, но батарея гавно, на день кое как хватает
_ Mikita84EKB у меня было так, садится до 15 процентов и выключается, поменял батарею кое как, там трудно в шлейф попасть на самой батареи, и через пару дней процент заряда завис на 50 процентах, пришлось заново снимать батарею и ставить обратно, точнее сам шлейф. И все стало нормально. Надо избавляться от этого говна.
