Correction.... To access the Shadow armor boots upgrade and you also use the "Ultimate" armor by using the Giga Attack to reach the ice ledge then latch on to it and you'll be good to go.

For the totems theres a way to get the blade armor easy first totem dash to the top second totem go to the bottem for the third and 4th totems dash in the middle and ur get to the blade armor in ur first run for sure hope this helps everyone

X5 is one of my least favorites. Mostly cuz I suck and the time limit just stressed me out when I was a kid and I would always fail to destroy the colony. Now that I'm older... I still suck at MegaMan games but in my genius idea of beating the game like 4 times... (One without the armor cheats, one with Ultimate from the start, and the other with Black Zero from the start. And the last one where I just let the colony crash) but then I accidentally saved over the wrong file so had to beat it again. It was nothing but regret. Lol And Tidal Whale stage is painfully slow and the fact that you gotta go through it almost 3 times per run is a nightmare. (One to kill the boss, then go back in to use the whale ability to get the Falcon body piece, then yet again with the full Falcon to get the heart.)

I have such a love hate relationship with this game, its definitely the hardest mmx but its also the most fun once i get in a groove and start killin it, kinda feels like a dark souls game for me as far as difficulty goes, when your doing good its amazing but on a bad day you freaking hate it! 😂 Thanks man great video

Luckily I also tried the metal anchor and it broke the iron blocks for me :). Then when I came back and read this I was like damn I shouldve payed more attention to your comment
@@MegaYoYo thanks. There's lots of blocks you can break/move by using the earth move. (I forget the name of the boss power) is there a way to move those blocks over and do it that way? It looks like a puzzle that I couldn't figure it out.
Luckily, there is the Tweaks Version of Megaman X6 which improves the game a lot. For example, Normal and Shadow Armor X can Air Dash, the life ups are shared both by X and Zero, and it also makes the spike and pit sections easier.

@@MegaYoYo the soundtrack & Darker presentation are the best parts of it. Gate is also a pretty cool villain too. I think the Score from Megaman Homepage was 100% fair and reflects it. I give it a 70% as well. I do feel these Games should have been Teen rated for just how much obtuseness is in the later games. X7 on the other hand is the true disappointment.

I just realized Megaman X5 is the best game ever, you can get the ultimate without cheats and the Zero Black Suit.
I do like C5 for that and it’s music

I never had a good time with MMX6. The bosses are way to easy compared to their respective stages
For me isn't difficult at all i completed many times with both Z and Zero. All you need to know is the correct boss order.

Ultimate armor x is the same left thrice then right, black zero i believe is D thrice then V
