I want to add one point sir ,
In the end of john Meashimer slide you said that john Meashimer doesn't believe that states want survival but they want power for acquiring regional hegemony as global hegemony is not possible. But sir as far i knw the main difference between john Meashimer and waltz is waltz beleives states acquire power for security , one's they are secure , they no longer acquire power. But John Meashimer beleives state first want survival and then security. And that's why he says that the only way to survive in anarchy is to acquire more and more power and acquire regional hegemony.
Thank you for the addition.
