I hope Lenovo legion go updates their drivers to officially support this version. I honestly do not like sideloading the 780m drivers, they give me such bad performance, screen tearing and stuttering on certain games.
Installed the afmf 2 drivers . That thing caused too many stutters on games i usually play , fake fps counter, and laggy resources. Uninstalled it right away and got back to the May 2024 display driver, and now I'm super happy i got no stutters.
the battle net link didnt do crap for me. said I could install a chipset update because my system wasn't capable of doing raid. then it uninstalled the Adreneline software -_- it was getting so choppy and bad I had to do a factory reset today for 2.5 hours. I'm PTSD from trying this again. complete nightmare for almost 3 week with the game crashing 7 time in one hour. i hope AMD release more stable releases and better URL links to unifly update. its all a mess. i wont be doing AMD again
@rickc4459 Battlenet is constantly asking me to update AMD software. I ignore and close it. Then it claims I should start in safe mode, I click "no" then it claims that my settings aren't optimal and if I would like to reset, I click "no" and it goes straight into the game. I only play MW3 Multiplayer "24/7 shipment" and resurgence quads. Everything works and is smooth. OFC, though, I get those prompt pop-ups every time I want to play.
Firstly love your videos. I’d love to try this but using the DDU is the worrying bit. Any dangers of not using it? I’m using the previous preview driver to this one.

I don't like do install this way. i prefer one button click install because i'm not an computer expert I'm just an normal user with basic knowledge. I hope Lenovo don't wait to long with the official release on this.
Sounds like u should stick to console or get a switch. I still like the switch above all handhelds. Or, you can wait for the switch 2. It'll be better than all the current pc handheld power wise and ease of use.
Bro if you need help T-pen ddu install will help you out I don’t know much about computers except the basic stuff but they go step by step to help you install safely and easily

The legion space should be working like when there is an update to and give you an sign to update like windows does. lenovo have to make the legion space getting the update on time for the users.
It doesnt seems to work well with FF16 and the rog ally x, shader caching would constantly crash, but one it got past it, the performance was really terrible.
Basically also asking I'm just on the Lenovo drivers I'm not on updated AMD drivers . So my question is is this separate from being on the Lenovo drivers like can I download this if I'm on the Lenovo drivers? Or do I have to update the AMD drivers before I update this?
@JahsonENT have you had any issues with opening your legion space app and using the button next to the x,y,a and b button? Can't open the legion space app and that shortcut button is not working and read online it could be because of the driver.
Please answer this I've never done this because I usually just like to wait for Lenovo this isn't technically through Lenovo is it or does this not matter I can just update this
no it not from Lenovo , its preview driver from AMD, at some point when AMD do officially release it then have to wait on Lenovo to tweak it, and yeah u can do it now but its in beta

Then the next time my device cuts off or something it reverts BACK to the previous driver then i have to start this process ALL over again (this happened when adrenaline first came out too ) can anyone help the afmf 2 is amazing i don’t wanna have to do this every time i play

the official driver is out now, and i never had tht issue on preview driver not sure what’s going on, but you are not only one i see with this issue online
Fix: if your not seeing the file then go where he shows the AMD folder, delete ADM folder and reinstall from that point. The new ADM folder will have it.
@@shevv5263 nope, AMD software afaik doesn't auto update with sideloading. Today I sideloaded the non preview drivers, will check tomorrow to see if it reverted again
Hey man, I installed everything correctly but when I activate Afmf game starts stuttering. I can see an increase in the fps monitor but the actual gameplay just gets worse and stutters. Any solution for this ?
@@JahsonENT 800p, full screen, turned off all Windows game optimizations, used only RIS (not RSR), no vsync. Tested in both Witcher 3 and Elden ring. Results were bad 😭 Edit : it was my first time installing from official lego drivers to sideload. So I used your first instruction, no DDU was used.
Ive had this for a week know but been having trouble because it keep saying duplicate driver found and foundnout when i updated windows it would revert tho u can always rollback the driver and restart your device but u definitely have to find out how to stop the update that reverts it.
I don’t get the blue screen to pick the #4 option I get a black screen saying too select it but I can’t because the on screen keyboard doesn’t have the arrow keys any help?

I have been running this version for a few days now.. no problems so far. Just make sure you don't miss any steps when installing.

There are some bugs it’s not working great for every one, some pple no issue
MW3 was requesting an AMD install. I used the Battlenet link and did the update. Frames have definitely been a lot smoother while playing MW3.

@@BarjixX no it not temporary. Windows update overwrite it because it’s a preview driver, once turn off auto update it shouldn’t happen again

basically Amd Develop the drivers then the PC company’s like Lenovo tweak it to there liking before Releasing it for the devices.

it depends when u did it, when i did it in first video at the time it was 24.20.01.02, when you did the update they already updated it on their site

Legion space now wont open for me after updating to the preview drivers, this happened after a day or so as it was working. Anybody had this problem?
Same with me. Just reset factory. And save files you need reinstall windows
the official driver is out now, and i never had tht issue on preview driver not sure what’s going on, but you are not only one i see with this issue online
