I know he was not involved in this game . But the whole death and funeral scene really hit me hard after it was announced that we los the great Kevin Conroy . It really felt like we lost a part of Batman

I do think the one that played The voice of Bruce and Batman in the Batman cartoon serious was pretty good he might not be as great of voice actor as Kevin Conroy for Batman

The symbolism behind the funeral scene is incredible. A funeral is how Bruce got the motivation to become Batman, and the fact that a similar event occurs for the other Knights is some really good storytelling.

There's multiple "official" storylines with the Batman franchise and I wouldn't look twice if the Arkham game story / product was to be considered one of them. What WB Montreal has produced so far doesn't really do it for me somehow? The cinematics are great tho, but yea...cinematics.

At first I was kinda upset that they didn't g et Kevin Conroy to voice Batman in this since we was still doing the voice work since he was confirmed on Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League, but after what's happened, kinds glad they didn't. Not sure I could take the best Batman dying twice like that.

It’s so crazy to me how the story lines for the games are written, so much better than the actual movies. DC animated shows and animated movies are great. But far as live action, they suck, and if they have the writers for the games riding it it would be 1000 times better
I have often said that they should let the writers of the DC Animated division write live-action movies for a while. At least they can tell a story.

C’mon that line of thinking is a bit outdated and unfair. The Batman, The Suicide Squad, Shazam and perhaps ZSJL were good DC movies. Aside from movies you have The Sandman, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and Peacemaker too.
I feel like the only bad ones since TDK trilogy ended were BvS, Josstice League, Suicide Squad 2016 and Wonder Woman 87.
Besides, the story for this game as a whole wasn’t very good.
@@Comicsluvr Being good at writing for comics and animation doesn’t necessarily translate well to movies. For example, Geoff Johns is a pretty good comic book writer but his contributions to DC live action movies haven’t been very good (Green Lantern and WW87).
These 7 minutes is better than anything in DC live actions. Batmans works when the movie feels like a continuation of dark knight. I have high hopes fir Pattison.
I wish we have good DC movies with this quality .. and I wish I could see Clark Kent or Supes in the funeral ..

The first time Bruce actually wasn't afraid to do what it takes to save gotham and the world. Sure he's put his life on the line countless times, but that was only in the pursuit of saving someone else. It's rare to see him put his life on the line to just end it and put a stop to the chaos.

I didn’t realize until this past week that this game is completely different from the Arkham games. I wish they would have kept that continuity. The 4 of them carrying on after Bruce disappears after the Knightfall Protocol.

I have to agree. Arkham games way better and they just messed the whole story up . Killed Batman , Barbara Gordon was paralyzed and now she’s up and running and the red hood story about him being the Arkham knight has been abandoned . He also looks like the hulk. Robin looks like Rick Morranis from honey I shrunk the kids .Didn’t like the gameplay either, Rocksteady studios should have made this game , not WB

The JL probably had a private funeral ceremony for The Batman, Bruce's true self. This is a funeral that was open to public citizens, a funeral for Bruce Wayne.
There’s no guarantee that the justice league even exists in this game. Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash Green Lantern, Aquaman, all the members of the JL don’t exist in this game until they are either shown or mentioned in it.

That's a good eye but you might be overthinking it a bit. It looks closer to a regular type Batman symbol. Which Nightwing's logo is just a very upswept variation on that symbol to begin with.
It's always a heartbreaking story when we have to see Alfred standing there seeing the child he loves died before him

Time Drake maybe the smartest in par with Bruce on the Detective Skills but I'll always go with the 1st Robin Dick Grayson...
