"Ring Trick" (Demon) by Zoroa [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.11

- It's been a while since Zoroa's last level, at least the last serious one that I uploaded on the channel. That was "Carpe Lucem" released in March 2022. 1.5 years of no releases is quite a lot for someone who was consistently releasing at least a handful of levels every year for several years of 2.1. However, I'd say the wait was well worth it. This is probably my favorite Zoroa level.
As usual from Zoroa, there are several cool effects to be found throughout the level. This time around, though, I find many of them to be even smoother and cooler. For example, some are used for sick transitions, such as at 0:47 and 1:35, while others are seen in the backgrounds at 0:51 and 1:02. The former examples are particularly neat, as they make each pair of parts perfectly connected to each other. All of these examples also feel like they're from the same level, which can be said for the rest of the level and its parts too. There is a clear space theme to some parts, and while some parts have more of a mechanical design to them, this is something I interpreted as a spaceship or a space station. This makes the level as a whole come together much nicer than previous Zoroa levels that were a bit more "random" from part to part. The block design is quite good too, especially in the aforementioned mechanical parts, such as at 0:14. As for the colors, it has the mixing and pulsing you'd expect from a space themed level, so there's not much to complain about there either.
I gave this a shot in practice despite this being recorded by Floppy, and I have to say that it's quite tricky. It will definitely be a Hard Demon in difficulty. This is because of some memory and many hard timings, especially in the fast-paced wave parts (dual or not). Wave is probably my personal worst game mode in terms of skill, so it's not a good mix with me. The final timing, seen at 1:52, is quite tricky whether you go for the coin or not. I can't say I'm a fan of putting timings like this at the end, and I could already see myself dying there. If you don't mind that and like challenging wave and some memory, this is definitely worth trying. I hope to see Zoroa make more levels at this level of quality in the future. It will definitely get an Epic rating.

It doesn't happen often that I watch a level showcase and I love it so much that I just rewatch the whole thing again because I love it so much. This was the case though yesterday when I saw it for the first time. Zoroa has proven to be an amazing creator in the past but this is by far their best work so far imo. I absolutely love how Zoroa interpreted the nine circles theme and was still able to keep it this original. The visuals are simply stunning with all the sick animations and the drop that looks just fantastic and has a great energy. Zoroa used to have quite a unique creating style which is still visible in this level but it definitely stands out from all of their other works. I feel like Zoroa has probably gotten a lot inspiration by Bli's recent works, especially when looking at these awesome animations and the dynamic movements and transitions. I think you see the most similarities at the parts between 0:46 and 1:25 . This mix of styles works extremely well and doesn't seem unoriginal to me at all. Overall the visuals just work so well with the song and it completely captures its intensity and mood. You can totally tell that Zoroa spent hundreds of hours on this projects and I think it 100% paid off. I really hope this one gets the attention it deserves. Absolutely fantastic work!
the best level of Zoroa without a doubt. I love the animations in the transitions and the decoration and setting are very well done, the song is also incredible and matches the setting of the level. without a doubt an excellent level
Zoroa spent +800 hours on this level and it really shows in every corner. It also makes the 1,5 years since the last level as this feel veryyyy justified

I’ve always been a big fan of Zoroa’s effects, as they’ve consistently been the spotlight of just about every level they made. However, for many of Zoroa’s past levels, it’s predominantly the effects that uplifted the visuals, while the block designs were kept very simple in detail. Zoroa’s block designs have been improving over the past couple years, however, and with this level, it’s not just the effects that are making an impact, but the designs themselves.
The block designs look amazing, and I love the artistic approach to all the details on screen and how they attribute to the space theme. One thing to note is how the middle portions play sort of similarly to how a Nine Circles-esque level would play, something I didn’t immediately catch onto when first watching this. The effects done in the middle wave parts were absolutely well done. Definitely Zoroa’s best level, and it’s not even close, bro outdid themself with this one 🔥🔥🔥
This is ridiculously clean and well executed, and offers a fresh take on the classic nine circles concept. The gameplay also seems very unique and fun. All of these factors combined, this could possibly be my favorite nine circles level to date.

This feels so different from Zoroa's usual style in such a cool way
Always awesome to see a new Zoroa level, and I think this one has some of Zoroa’s most impressive effects yet! It’s mesmerizing how even though a lot of the effects are pretty out-there, they all manage to flow so naturally into one another, especially the transitions. Speaking of which, Zoroa was somehow able to one-up the transitions in Carpe Lucem, which is a feat in and of itself. From what I’ve played (mostly the drop wave), the gameplay is also really fun, and it carries the energy of the visuals/song well. This is definitely one of Zoroa’s best works!

Without a doubt some of the best transition effects I've seen in the entire game. This just knocks it out of the park in all categories, and deserves nothing less than an epic rating. If I were Rob I'd even consider changing this to legendary in 2.2 :)

a red and yellow space themed level is definitely unconventional but i am absolutely here for it, i don't usually like zoroa's work but this level is so fantastic it's nigh impossible not to love

Really interesting level, ViPriN! Each part is epic, but most of all I liked the beginning. It seems so narrow, but cool. There is one Easy Demon with such thing too. If I remember correctly, it is called "Buried Angel" by F3lixsram, I beat it.
Tbh, for years my favorite level he ever made was Inspirative II, and it was still my favorite for… 4 years? (time flies)
When I watched the first preview (the one before the drop), I thought it would finally be my new favorite Zoroa's level. And I wasn't wrong after all. This level is so outstanding, the designs, the effects, the arts, everything is near perfect. Although the last part and the endscreen are literally rushed (made in 1/2 days), it is still one of the best levels ever made (despite the lag lol)
