    The narwhal, rhino, and beaver got absolutely rekt, this was hilarious. Walt problematic Disney is right, but this video was a ton of fun. Good stuff Summer!

    @outdoorswithsum - that Lemmings video was filmed in Calgary, Alberta (Canada). As you pointed out, a shame how they got that footage, not sure what was going through their minds when they did it. Calgary is Where I live. (BTW here from Tony Palmers Channel). Splendid video, I enjoyed it.

    What an absolutely bonkers book! It 100% sounds like a child wrote the descriptions. The wombat - 'its whole appearance is round' - is my fave.

      hahahah isn’t it!! I was pleased they were nice to the wombats I would have rioted otherwise

    This is why even today, you can’t trust Disney portrayals of wildlife.

    That was fascinating and hilarious! I love the idea of ants being 3 bugs on a stick lmao! Where I live in Darwin we have a really common ant called the green tree ant which has a really long petiole between its thorax and abdomen which I always thought looked really funny.
    Thanks for the great vid, Sum!!

    Simply must know how they roasted the kiwi and kākāpо̄ if included

    • @outdoorswithsum
      @outdoorswithsum  3 роки тому

      No kiwi but they did include kākāpō and kea! No good roasts but they called kākāpō ‘owl parrots’ - very archaic

    We should watch some true life adventures or Zoo Quest. I think the Squirrel one was filmed in Utah of all places. Like you reading about all the South American species as I just left the Amazon, but I also makes me miss it.

      That would be a laugh!!! But where to find it 🤔 oh my gosh how cool you went to the Amazon!! Will you make any videos from your trip?

      @@outdoorswithsum I actually have some of the true life adventures, and I do know someone who has all of them.
      As for the Amazon, a few videos will take place there

    I was amused by the failed war on the emu. They should have known that they can run the pants off a kangaroo. Those blood thirsty villain dogs need an emu to keep em under control like in John Williamson’s song which I grew up singing
