Hi Ms. Donna, the soup looks good. I like the idea of freezing the chicken and veggies together. I’ve never heard of a Thursday soup, but it’s a good idea too and I’ll be trying both. Thanks for sharing. I love a quick meal. See you for Wednesday craft day! Have a good week!
I remember a lady I worked with used to save everything leftover then make a soup. Soup is amazing, it can be anything! Leftover rice would be great too! I love soup. Definitely getting that time of year to make it.
My hubby loves soups. I make a big pot of soup and put it in small bags so he can have some anytime. I have not heard of Thursday soup but it sounds like a great idea:) tfs and God bless:)
Looks good! I always make chicken broth with the leftover rotisserie chicken carcass and the remaining chicken in soup. It’s a good idea to freeze it with the vegetables so it’s a meal in a bag for whenever you want to make soup.
I make a huge pot of soup. Brown the chicken, add broth, veggies and spices. Cover and simmer for at least 2 hours. Cool, and store in containers in refrigerator overnight. Then freezer the next day. On those chilly days I take a container to the stove and heat it. Cook pasta separately. Serve the soup, topped good Romano (fresh grated) cheese. It adds an Italian charm to a homemade masterpiece.
Oh Donna, what a great idea! I love soup even in warm weather.
I never thought about preparing a bag for a soup. Thank you so much for that idea and it's awesome. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
