9:10 I can definitely relate to time management troubles even for my daily job which is software development. I often find myself pondering between two acceptable ways forward and end up spending too much time trying to decide which one is better for long term future. If both are acceptable, just pick one that looks better intuitively and continue with your life. You cannot calculate all the variables into the future accurately enough that you could truly make the absolutely perfect choice anyway.

I paused after the introduction to say something. The fact that you are already || this close to a Norm is already proof that you are improving and reaching new heights. I can't wait to watch the rest of the video to find out if today is the day or if we wait for another day (because everyone knows it's coming), but regardless of the outcome *at this time*, know that you already have all of the evidence and reassurance you need. (Yesterday's game is even more proof of that!!!) Good Luck!

she'll never be a grandmaster, even FM for her is nearly impossible let alone grandmaster. The amount of dedication required to hit those levels is immense, and she does not have the necessary time to become that good of a player, simply because she has other responsibilities. And also it's not just a matter of effort she's been stuck at her rating range for years. So it's simply not possible.

These move-by-move analyses are so helpful to me and I enjoy your commentary so much. I hope you continue to play (and win) these tournaments and provide your recaps so I continue to grow as a player and teacher. I am teaching my 8-year-old grandson to play chess and he joined the chess club at school. I taught him the London opening for white, so I asked him what he did if he played black because I hadn’t taught him a black opening yet and he said, “I just played the London because I didn’t know what else to do.” So I have a lot more work to do and your analytic description and mental processes is so helpful to me and to him too. Thanks a million for all you do for your fans. It’s a lot more helpful than you realize. BTW, I am teaching him the KID and PIRC for black. I think that will give him good opportunities to get to the middle game in solid positions. Ciao.

You are young and vivacious. 3. You have shown talent in chess. 4. You are obviously beautiful. ← I see these things as why you have become a successful Influencer. I saw you on Wirtual's channel, and watched a couple of your videos, and now I've been watching other chess channels and studying to start playing human opponents for fun online. Now, I like to relax by patiently learning casual things, so I'm glad I've discovered the online chess scene.

Richterova was obviously better and you can tell just by the way she decided to advance her King. Moves like this one make the difference. Game was completely lost after Anna's castling. It's positive that she analyses the games with us and I'm quite sure a deeper analysis is due with her coaches later (I guess her mom and dad? I don't know as I'm fairly new here).

I won a regional competition when I was 10 years old and I have rarely picked up a chess piece in the following 47 years - your videos inspire me to start playing again. Such a wonderful personality!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience in this tournament in real time like this and for being so honest about how you played and how you are feeling, even when you have lost and are feeling a bit raw.
You have a lot of fans who want you to do well and who have learned a lot from your videos. I owe you a lot as an improving player from your hints and tips and just seeing and hearing you analyse games.
So please keep it up - we are all behind you.

I've watched how Anna has improved in the last year. I have no doubt she will eventually get those norms. It was obviously very emotional for her today, and credit to her for posting both her wins and losses.

The little girl in the background at twenty-something seconds doing a hop, grabbing a shell and being chased by her dad is just too perfect.

I don't know which I enjoy more: your smile and enthusiasm, or the inclusion of your psychological game in your analyses. Combined, this is far and away my favorite chess channel.

Anna - thank you for sharing these games - I am only 1 year in on my chess journey and I find that when you explain the moves of your games I can better understand and appreciate all of the positions. It seems pretty clear to me that even when you don’t win you still win by gaining valuable experience & expertise - looking forward to tomorrow’s results - best of luck

I love your tournament recaps. They capture both the chess tactics in a way that is easy to understand even for beginners, and also the feelings and the drama of the games. They are my favourite chess analysis videos on youtube. I am very exited to hear that you want to compete more in 2024, both because I love these videos and because it looks like you are having so much fun competing!

You have this power of always smiling and laughing, whatever the situation is in Life.
And you still are very young.
I feel like you will get the norms, with more work and more instrospection.
A big 💪 and a ♥️ of kindness to you, you seem to be a precious person.

That "Brain Freeze" is called 'procrastination' and is perfectly normal. There is a saying _"Procrastination is the thief of time"_. In the air force training for promotion we were told _"It's better to make a decision in a timely manner, even if later it turns out to be the wrong decision, rather than to *not* make a decision at all"_.
Love your happy approach to life 👏

When Anna has competitions, I always wait for her first words. I could always deduce from the tone of her voice, the holding of her head, whether she won or lost.
