Problem is the switching between fuel sources! Going between fat for fuel to carbs for fuel and back, wreaks me! Carbing leaves me always feeling hungry, drained and depressed because of the crap I eat, even clean carb, I'm always feeling hungry. Keto is the only thing that keeps me full while being lower calorie. The junk days have gotten out of control, like a year later we go back to keto lol. The back and forth is unhealthy and straining, but best option I have atm. Your right. I need to get a better balance! Just need to be able to function during the switching phase? I don't know. Great vid ❤

I've been into diet and fitness my entire adult life (34 years old) and I've done basically every type of diet besides vegetarian/vegan (the lack of protein options just doesn't mix with weight lifting/bodybuilding goals and people on those diets long term look really sickly more often then not) and if I could offer any real world advice it would be don't go on extreme diets for long periods of time and just eat "fresh Whole Foods" for 90% of your eating. The problem with extreme diets is that they're extreme. You might get good results but they are difficult to maintain long term so only use them in 12ish week spurts if you use them at all. The part about fresh Whole Foods is pretty obvious. When you learn to start buying fresh veggies, fruits, dairy and raw meats, you start learning how to cook and you control exactly what goes into a dish you are making. You are in full control and you know you aren't getting added sugars and other garbage when you are dealing with raw ingredients and doing the cooking. That's a huge benefit when you are tracking calories/macros. Just learn to cook and buy fresh raw shit. It's way easier than you think, it's fun, and it's not as expensive as people like to complain it is. Sure, ultra processed foods are cheap af, but that doesn't mean that ground beef, chicken, eggs, dairy and pork are expensive luxury items (does depend on the cuts of meat and where you are buying but meats are easy to find at reasonable prices everywhere). If you can't afford these things, then you've got other priorities to get straight first because they are not that expensive. Also, I say 90% of the time because life is too short to not eat a bag of lays potato chips on a Saturday, or go out for cheeseburgers or pizza with your friends/family on a Friday night with a few beers on the side. As long as you are eating great 5-6 days a week I think a Friday/saturday "cheat" window is totally fine (as long as you aren't going fucking crazy every friday/saturday and eating 5000 calories of potato oles and french fries with pizza and milkshakes, just be reasonable).

Got the vivo primus trail running shoe and completely disappointed. The pinch point on my pinky toes is almost unbearable. Rarely wear them because of the pain. 2 pairs of sock & deal with the pain is a pita.

Great video Mark!! More people need to hear this information. I just went on vacation due to a death in the family and I ate so much processed food, pizza and alcohol. I'm back at home and hit the reset button and back on track with my diet routine. I can relate to this video so much and agree with the message so much. Keep putting out this great information 💪💙

Keto is stupid. Leanest all year around athele are ling distance runners who mostly train in zone 2. Guess what they eat... carbs, lot of them.
