Hey Randy, I wasn’t able to comment on your post the other day regarding your consideration of quitting UA-cam. Also the jerks who commented with malice regarding your posting old videos on how upsetting that was to you! I would like you to consider the other side of the coin and I have made this comment before. I have been following your channel for years now. I never miss an episode. I consider you to be hands-down absolutely the best automotive channel on UA-cam! Not only because of the variety of vehicles and content, but you’re sharing aspects of your personal life and showing yourself to be, such a person of high character, a great father to Nick and all around stand up guy!that being said I am in a hospice house, totally disabled and dying. You have brought me so many hours of entertainment and enriched my life every day! I love your relationships with monkey wrench Mike and Santa the road trips with Mike and again I repeat your selection of vehicles is incredible. I forgot to add your enthusiasm and excitement and appreciation for these vehicles is so contagious! I understand your need to prioritize your life and live it the way it will make you and your family best. I just asked that you consider those of us who love and appreciate what you’re doing, and how it enriches our lives in addition to the other creeps that criticize!
That Buick was definitely an OD, the fact there is no damage, trash on the back seats, maggots on the seats AND it's a repo, was definitely used for druggie money instead of car note.
Actually, randy, they are not horse flies, they are blow flies, they come out of dead and rotting flesh, they don't bite, but it's still very, very disgusting
I had made the same comment and deleted it because I didn’t see your comment until I had watched almost all of the video. Yeah horseflies are the size of carpenter bees
I think our good friend Randy opened the Buick of death. By the looks of it, somebody X2 "died " in that Buick , and the corpes were there for body decomposition to advance
I was like don't open that door because I already knew the driver door was the only one unlocked, then he opens it..me "You're gonna be sorry"...sticks his freaking head all the way in and "🤮" yep....that's what happens 😂
These are just stupid things manufacturers do. Fords will slow you down and shift into park if the driver door opens. Same type of crap with auto locks. Border Patrol agents were shot and killed after being chased down and even though the SUV they were riding in had bullet proof glass, as soon as the officer put the truck in park to return fire, one of them opened the passenger door and began firing inside the SUV. This was because the SUV unlocks the doors as soon as you put it in park. Fleeing is another issue. You want to flee and not have your car applying the brakes or putting it in park. I get that children can open the door while you are trying to drive away but that is more on parenting your children better and not leaving it up to the manufacturer to implement more annoyances in their design.
sure randy, i would be interested. to be honest i like your attitude and character so much, you could start reviewing tires i would still watch, when you do it, you make all that enjoyeable to watch.
Those 3.3 GDi’s are solid, if they’re blown it’s because someone did not change their oil on them. I have a 2017 with the 3.3, 103k miles right now, only issue was an oil pressure switch that was replaced under warranty.
I think that idea is absolutely amazing ur doing something u love making some money with the business and UA-cam revenue will cover the rest! I support you 100%
Fords, and apparently VWs, like to tell you that the engine is on because the door is open. It's annoying as hell. If I'm in my RAM Promaster 2500 delivery van and I leave the engine running to make a delivery, the horn will honk when I close the door as well.
My wife had a Cadillac and our dog loves to come running out of the garage and jump into the car and ride back into the garage with us and it would do the same thing it would lock down every time I open the door. I hated that option. 8:21
Really enjoyed the video! Great content! With the market soft, a lot of people are probably wanting to get a new car. Seeing the repos and some newer vehicle content and hearing a short review of it is pretty entertaining and informative lol
Well I look at it this way its his life you see I put lol I wasnt being serious about it so in this case its up to him I made a suggestion but thats his call
I honestly believe all the bitching and complaining about everything he does or doesn’t do has made him consider on walking away! I could be wrong, because that did happen once before.
Like your idea Show how you fixed problems and then detailed them Show the products you are using You are really good at detailing and would like to see how you do it Thanks Randy 🙈
My husband does DoorDash and we got our car Sept 14 of last year with 95K miles on it. Just less than a year later and its at 145K. Gig workers do a TON of miles if that's their only job.
Randy I've been watching you since your channel was called uberman and I know that burnout from stress and life sucks I'm going through the starting stages of that myself and if you need to take a few weeks off for vacation to take care of yourself by all means your health and life comes first
Those Mitsubishis have had very little updating over the years. My wife had bought one new in ‘17 and other than different upholstery design, the interior is about identical. About all they really did from about 2015 or so is change the look of the nose and to a lesser extent, the rear. One thing I can say about the one we had was that in almost 7 years and almost 100k, it had 0 issues and it made several long road trips averaging about 30mpg. As long as you change the cvt fluid every 30k, these things although simple, can last.
Randy, I bet you wish that that old Red Thunderbird in your front yard of AAR HQ had a feature like that Blue VW that would automatically put on the parking brake if you put the car in drive with the door open. Remember, you hot wired it, but the shifter was in drive.
The Trax being driven almost 30k miles per year isn't all that shocking especially in the midwest/south. Cities are far apart, super long highways and sometimes regional managers for example have to do a ton of driving for meetings, conferences or visiting multiple locations. I did about 25k miles per year when I was a regional manager at a retail chain.
I think the repo idea would be an interesting idea to see how it would work out if you told all the numbers and how much you make out with on each vehicle.
Great vids wish I could buy late models fix m run them back through the auction- my cars look a lot like that Trax I'm a Process Tech 35 thou miles a year on my cars they never sit I try buy the cheapest every 4 years always been good on oil changes because dealer will come to the house 😂 stay away from that Buick
So interested in the flipping cars idea I’ve always wanted to be a used car dealer and buying fixing and selling used cars as fascinating to me. This is a great direction. You’re heading in with your Page.
That Buick there is absolutely no excuse for that gross could you imagine if you had to give somebody a ride in that lol. Certainly not getting in that thing needs a match.
I have a 2016 Subaru Legacy that I currently have a little over 203k miles on it and the car still drives good, needing to do plugs and coils and changing fluids (diffs, CVT). I'm looking at changing the coils to hopefully fix the occasional hesidation when I would go to accelerate. The coils have never been changed as far as I know, I have had the car since November '21 and I bought it with 112K on it and I have replaced the plugs before, but not the coils.
I have that same mitsubishi, but a 2019, get this with a five speed manual transmission, so reliable, original battery 58000 miles. If you look under the hood of that you will see a Nissan motors serpentine belt. Nissan owns them I think.
I think that's a great idea. Something a little different. Clean them up if you have to put new tires, oil changes s*** like that and turn them back in
That trax use to be a rental car .more specifically Uber . There bad about not cleaning them and not paying for them either . That miles correlates well with off lease Uber rentals that weren't paid for cause the rental company's don't buy them back they just send them to auction . Dont even bother cleaning them most of the time
I've been bitten by those flies ooof if u decide to buy repo cars I will be turning in to the videos to help out the channel I mostly don't watch 44 minute videos but I wanted to see what they have
I think the whole repo to resale idea is a great change of content. I say try it out!
I think the ILX would make a great car for Nick. It's small, has plenty of features (being an Acura), economical, and reliable.
Your idea of buying and reselling repossessed vehicles is a very good idea.

I guess someone ended their life subscription inside that Buick.
Definitely do the repo buys on your channel. Every repo car literally has a story behind it.😂😂😂
I like your idea of fixing them up and reselling them
Actually, randy, they are not horse flies, they are blow flies, they come out of dead and rotting flesh, they don't bite, but it's still very, very disgusting
I had made the same comment and deleted it because I didn’t see your comment until I had watched almost all of the video. Yeah horseflies are the size of carpenter bees
I did not know this about the flys. It's even Grossing me out more now.
@@markbader31You should read about the stages of decomposition…fascinating stuff!
good to see you randy , always great content
I think our good friend Randy opened the Buick of death. By the looks of it, somebody X2 "died " in that Buick , and the corpes were there for body decomposition to advance
I was like don't open that door because I already knew the driver door was the only one unlocked, then he opens it..me "You're gonna be sorry"...sticks his freaking head all the way in and "🤮" yep....that's what happens 😂
I think you doing that buying car, cleaning them, and resell sounds fun. Do it
lol I can’t stop itching after seeing the horseflies lol

Real world is not for you obviously ATSilly
I thought cop cars and perhaps border patrol vehicles did not have those safety things ie. opening door while driving is possible etc.
I dont know if I have seen many vehicles where you cant change that in the settings
All of which are things you can turn off in settings…
I think its a great idea Rebuilds, I'm with you 👍
Randy, why oh why did you open that door? Why?
I can’t say I would’ve but I was definitely interested in seeing what was inside so I can’t blame him
sure randy, i would be interested. to be honest i like your attitude and character so much, you could start reviewing tires i would still watch, when you do it, you make all that enjoyeable to watch.
A Hyundai with a grenaded GDI engine? Imagine that!
Those 3.3 GDi’s are solid, if they’re blown it’s because someone did not change their oil on them. I have a 2017 with the 3.3, 103k miles right now, only issue was an oil pressure switch that was replaced under warranty.
Need to upgrade to a full dealer's license. That wholesale license is nothing but a pipe dream nowadays
@@JasonK-w3r not if you know what you're doing.
Our 23’ Chevy blazer has the key as well. I laughed when I saw that as I thought it would have been push to start.
Repo sales let’s try and I Will watch LIKE I ALWAYS DO!! Thank you for your videos my friend.👍👍
Go for it Randy. I love the repo resale initiative.
I think that idea is absolutely amazing ur doing something u love making some money with the business and UA-cam revenue will cover the rest! I support you 100%
You can't keep an old Pontiac down! Love what you and your dad do. Great show
Fords, and apparently VWs, like to tell you that the engine is on because the door is open. It's annoying as hell. If I'm in my RAM Promaster 2500 delivery van and I leave the engine running to make a delivery, the horn will honk when I close the door as well.
Yes please! do newer repo car content.
I like your idea of buying repoed cars and reselling them. Go for it!!
I have the “15 ILX with the K24 & 6 speed manual, I love it! The R20 is an offshoot of the R18, pretty reliable but only 150Hp
My wife had a Cadillac and our dog loves to come running out of the garage and jump into the car and ride back into the garage with us and it would do the same thing it would lock down every time I open the door. I hated that option. 8:21
Good to see that your still doing videos. Ur awesome Randy.
Really enjoyed the video! Great content! With the market soft, a lot of people are probably wanting to get a new car. Seeing the repos and some newer vehicle content and hearing a short review of it is pretty entertaining and informative lol
RANDY I thought you was retiring lol
still making his mind up on that one!
This is old
Randy aint Retiring anytime soon click bait 🥴👀
Well I look at it this way its his life you see I put lol I wasnt being serious about it so in this case its up to him I made a suggestion but thats his call

Loved the longer vlog and the different approach and thanks for walking for me cause its 100 to 103 f today here in north Texas
Finally an Acura to the channel !!!
Like your idea Show how you fixed problems and then detailed them Show the products you are using You are really good at detailing and would like to see how you do it Thanks Randy 🙈
Horseflies are the absolute worst.
Horseflies are so disgusting.
And deer flies. Worse than mosquitoes.
Deer ticks suck alot
@ZaleWrighthorseflies are for horses get rid of them and take them to gM they work together
The worst ones are the big black one that are a whole 1 inch in a 1/4 long they hurt like hell and will chase you down.
My husband does DoorDash and we got our car Sept 14 of last year with 95K miles on it. Just less than a year later and its at 145K. Gig workers do a TON of miles if that's their only job.
Great walk around😀
Lol now you have to watchout for the yellow jackets and horseflies when you're out there walking around lol
Good morning Randy
Sounds like a good plan Randy. Try it out. Nothing to lose.
We love you brother I'll stay tuned 💯
Whatever you decide 💪
I like that. Great idea, Randy !!!!
Great idea Randy.
I'm here for your new content. Sounds like a good idea.
Randy I've been watching you since your channel was called uberman and I know that burnout from stress and life sucks I'm going through the starting stages of that myself and if you need to take a few weeks off for vacation to take care of yourself by all means your health and life comes first
Rany working double shifts what a change to I have to take a break and spend time with the family early middle age crisis
My great grandfather worked in the oil fields into his 90s. Sad life. He could take it back he would. He is 103 now.
Yes your back on.
randy very good video, should of been buying some of these already
Hi Randy, our favorite videos are when you gag on the smelly cars. I think on the newer 5.3s they can shut off any of the cylinders
I like the new direction you're going with the videos change is good
If only i had pound or if ur American a doller for each time i see in the comments i thought you was retiring i would be a millionaire 🤣

Repo's are sketchy 🤔🤔Good luck finding decent ones Randy 👍👍
I enjoy everything you do no matter what I would love to see what your talking about 🎉
I like the idea of buying repossessed cars and making a profit!! Definitely would like to see how it goes!
That Chevy was a delivery / Uber vehicle classic high mileage car 😮
Another good video thank you 😊
I love your videos!!
It's a great idea as long as you don't quit doing UA-cam I know times change
That Hyundai sounds like my wife's Sonata did when the engine seized up.
Many of those filthy cars reminded me of one of my brothers cars. My dad always said that he wasn't fit to own a car.
Hey I'd really love it if you also say the prices of the car's you find🙏🏾
It’s an auction, so there isn’t a price. It’s whatever the highest bidder is willing to shell out.
Hey Randy .Great idea on the flipping cars for a few bucks.. gonna really revitalize the channel viewership along with more new subscribers I think.
That would be a great idea, Randy.

Thanks again Brother.
Randy my mom has a 2016 Chevy Trax with a little over 50,000 miles on it and it is running good had the turbo to go out on it this year
#RandyAutoAuctionRebuilds That Black Acura ILX IS A Good Car 4 Nick

When showing the Hyundais and Kias you may make mention of engine problems
That ILX is a fancier Honda Civic and I love them! So much cooler than a Civic.
dead as a door nail got me messed up🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hello Randy. The Hyundai Santa Fae is a good looking SUV. The 2013 Volkswagen Tauso is a good looking car.
Randy The Acura ILX is just a Honda Civic
Thanks for the video Randy; but please do not burn yourself out…
Brian would have his hands full with the trax
That's a good idea randy
I think that's a great idea. Something a little different. Clean them up if you have to put new tires, oil changes s*** like that and turn them back in
I detail cars at Manheim. I get cars like that on the weekly.

we have the buik encore here in the UK but its called a vauxhall / opel mokka - still GM though
More Ram's. How about TRX. 1500/2500/3500/4500/5500.
The repo resale series can be good and it would give you a break from copart and maybe free up personal time for you and your family
