Dang so I just got an XJ and stumbled across your channel and literally binged on most of your videos. It was so funny seeing the rollercoaster at the end buying and selling the different rigs haha. I was looking forward to seeing more of your final XJ build but watching your channel and seeing your wife have the better car and you always having project car daily’s it’s cool to see you in a baller ass gladiator now. Every man eventually graduates to higher end builds so congrats!
Thanks!! I love an xj I just don’t have time for a big project at the moment. But soon down the road I’ll start another one and take my time on it and film the progress. I realized I can’t have a project Jeep as my daily. Now that I have a good daily I can start working towards a project!
Nice jeep, congratulations, don’t replace the rear springs just add half inch spacers in the front to level out the jeep, I don’t recommend putting the stock springs in the back just get the front up to the height you want and it will look awesome, the only thing I recommend is to get some lower adjustable control arms, the red is pretty awesome👍
Great vid and comments on your decisions. I think most of us are in your same boat. when we wrap ourselves in our jeep build visions we forget why we buy a vehicle like a jeep. And it’s not till later that we find the most important things have been there the whole time. Spending time with our love ones and enjoying life as it should.
Nice man. Looking good. Iv'e got the itch to go out and wheel, but the way these gas prices are these days..... What's your current mpg after these 39s? I'm about to order the same tires as yours.
All gladiators have an Lsd in the rear. I have a 2020 Sport S Gladiator, Got my build sheet for it also called Jeep. Was told they don't sell the Gladiator without an lsd in the rear.
Is there a reason that you would not put a spacer up front versus you putting the factory coils back in the rear? I am looking at the same AEV lift for mine and I dont want the rake either. thanks in advance, nice build.
@@jcjeeps Shoot! How did you get away with that? We're working with the same tire and wheel and at proper torque setting, we're not getting contact from ring to wheel. We're about 1/16 - 1/8 inch of gap. This is why KMC emailed back and said BFG needs a spacer. I could have made it contact by torquing a little further but didn't want to run the risk of snapping bolts off.
I was thinking of a 3.5” lift with 39” tires but seemed pretty high and there’s just a lot mor to modify, came across your vid after near thinking that a 2.5” lift would be better suited. Is there any issues with the 39” tires and would they work with a 4.5” back spaced wheel? Thanks in advanced.
I have more than enough room. You would probably be fine with 4.5in BS but I would try to look for a more aggressive offset. I’m running 3.5in and it is wide but no rubbing at all even at flex!

Great job looks really clean. My husband and I both have a 2020 jl and we just ordered a gladiator can't wait to get it
Bought not built sticker :( , was waiting for the notch fender flare install video wasn’t expecting this
Dude, you change vehicles more than I change underwear.😂😂😂😂
I know 🤣
Hey did you put ring spacers for those KMC wheels? For those bfg?
Looks good. I’d leave the rear springs...it will help you with your departure angle. Plus you don’t want to look like a stink bug!
I have decided to keep them, I’m putting a bed rack and tent and I’ll need it
Nice build I'm think about doing the same. Can you install the 4:1 transfer case?

Are the nemisis flares worth it if you currently have factory rubicon paint matched?
Great Video and perfect build! Do your have any build updates?

Not an LSD. A Rear Locker. And I'm not sure all do...sports is the base model.

I didn’t want mine to sit so tall, ends up you need an inch in the front to make it mostly level.
@@jcjeeps thanks so much! I have got to come up and visit rubitrux since im just down in HKY!
Nice JT
Thumbs up for the new video, thumbs down for selling the Cherokee
Have you ever had problems with tickets or inspection?
Not in North Carolina however some states are more strict
@@jcjeeps did you use hub rings?
Did you use the KMC ring spacer for the install? I’m installing the same wheels and tires and KMC is saying the spacer is necessary for the BFG KM3.
No I did not use a ring spacer

@@duvinclunk there very well could have been a gap I didn’t keep it long enough to tell I didn’t mount them either
@@jcjeeps Ahhh I see. Did you get rid of it?
@@duvinclunk yea I built a one ton JKU instead
What size are your KMC grenades? What offset?
They were 17x9 3.5 in back spacing
@@jcjeeps what’s the offset? 0mm, -1mm, -12mm?
So great jeep

Could I run a 2.5 lift with this setup on a non max tow? I feel the wheel offset I’m getting shouldn’t rub
Yea I would maybe put a .5in spacer in the front to help level it out
@@jcjeeps thanks that should save a little money
Did you have to use any self tapping screw to reinstall your stock fender liners
I got same fenders
No I made them work, however it’s not a permanent solution just until my inners come in!
Nice JT!! How does the car seat fit in the back?? Dad life!
It fit 3 seats pretty snug! It works!
What offset wheels?
Do you finish projects? 😂
literally refound your channel and watched the blue Cherokee videos subscribed then unsubscribed when you said you abandoned the Cherokee build...
I understand 😁 I’ll build another xj one day.
I unsubbed.. I subscribed for the xj build as a fellow xj guy. Congrats on the baby tho
