Well its an ohv v8 2 door coupe and it puts out way more torque than the maxima which is heavy asf weighing probaby an extra 1000lbs maybe more. Now put it up against an altima ser and wont stand a chance
Gran Turismo depends. It can keep up though. With an intake installed and blockoff plate they can run in the low or mid 5s. But a stock taurus takes the cake though they put out around 365 hp i could be wrong might be more but yea i gotta admit those shos haul ass

For some reason the only car that ever overtook it was some guy in a Lincoln Mark VIII with the 32 valve 4.6. I have no reason to lie about such a thing. I own a 6 speed Maxima and have outran Mustangs with that as well.

Well that taxi cab motor makes about the same horsepower and torque as a 94 5.0 the 4.6 early versions The modular engines did not make a whole lot of power but they are very reliable

The things with these 2004-2006 maximas they all sound the same no matter what you do . If you just put in a filter it’s sounds like this . If your straight pipe it it still sounds like this . If you put on headers ,k&n intake and full exhaust it will still sound like this 😢
That goes to show the 4.6 in the mustang is weak if the 2018 Sentra walked away like that I can only imagine how bad the maxima would leave the 4.6 mustang
Nah the 18 Sentra SV has 124-130hp and 128 lbft of torque which is 174 Nm of torque in Europe maybe thats where you got the high torque number from. The old Mustang 4.6 is slow but not that slow. Even if the Sentra was modded with everything besides a turbo it would get beat even if it was the SR variant with MR16DDT turbo it would lose. So no I dont believe it. Again the old Mustang 4.6 is slow but not that slow where its getting beaten by a Sentra with a CVT transmission or even a manual one.

That’s an SN95. The new edge (1999-2004) makes more HP 260. With bolt ons and 4,10 gears they make 300 hp. They’re quicker than any maxima. Promise.
