I've been using Vista X for almost a year now and in the middle of this journey I had the chance to own Equinox 800 and Nokta Simplex too, which I've done extensive testing to, I don't know if it's because of my experience with tone detectors (I'm coming from Tesoro) but I can surely say that I would pick up Vista X every day over them. Since I've learnt the detector it's been very rewarding to me. The discrimination is great, even in higher setting, the depth, especially in smaller silver coins is surprising, but the recovery speed and sensitivity is beyond anything I've ever used. Love it's dual discrimination setting, reminds me of my first Tesoro Tejon, I can't recommend it enough, love it. 👍
I'd be more impressed if you could get the same result using a .177 airgun pellet lol.......just joking,looks like a very impressive piece of kit......i'm getting very interested.Thanks for the video.
I had vista gold few years ago , it was brilliant detector and now I want to buy one of the newest model vista gold hound but it looks like I can't buy it in any shop in the UK, checked LP ,Regton and other shops... just no deeptech machines here , do you know why maybe?

I have a mate like that God knows where he get his energy from always on the go. He in 4 para training for a Afghan tour as well as doin his projects for UA-cam and urban exploring. And work hes like the Duracell bunny. Hes not got kids yet though ha ha ha. Hes a top lad.
I just went and tried it... i thought no chance... i put a smaller coin than the washer under and it never seen it, as soon as i brought the coin out with about 4 mm of it showing from under the washer it hits with a good signal

you should do the same test with rusty nails. they react very differently.

What's the cost of this detector mate, also what type of diving are you qualified on mate.
the detector costs about £500 and i am ocean diver and will also be going the sport diver training

You could be really cruel, and put the coin partly under the washer!
