I did this last year and my hair loves it. Shea butter, tea tree oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, vitamin e oil and I infused rosemary in mine using the old oil it really helped my hair growth and edges - hope this helps (melt all your butters together ,add oils to it and mix till its whipped fluffy and if it stiffens go back and add more oil and whip again mine stayed fluffy after I added more oil )

I do something similar but I don't whip it. I put it in a glass jar and let it "solidify" . It still stays soft although not whipped textured. Shea butter and coconut oil will naturally solidify if left to stand and it reaches a cooling off temp. Just be sure to stir each oil for a proper mix as demonstrated here and you can skip the whipping process if you choose.

I asked him the difference of the yellow and white and he said that the yellow was that color because of tumeric.... I don’t know if that was just his recipe but it works WONDERS for my skin and hair!

Definitely gonna be trying this! I use the same leave in conditioners as well. Like you, I found my products by looking at UA-camrs with similar textures and some of them are heavy on the butter. I haven’t found the right butter, I usually use oil to seal, but this looks like a bomb sealant, especially for the winter time. As for these debates and challenges, I don’t pay that stuff no mind. At this point, natural hair is so mainstream that people are bored and trying to make something fresh and new when they should just stick to the tried and true. Natural hair is no longer a new thing and they’re chasing that “first time high” so to speak 🤷🏽‍♀️ But anyway, thanks for sharing ❤

When you add heat to those oils, it kills the healing and nutrient properties in those oils, so you're not getting the full benefit of the oils all together. I like how she did mention that she whips the oils together without hearing them, I still think it adds some kind of heat to it, since the mixers are metal and is more than likely heating the oils along the way.
