Te Panekiretanga O Te Reo Maori at PCC: July 2010

The wero and entrance portion of the Polynesian Cultural Center's welcoming ceremonies for the visiting group Te Panekiretanga O Te Reo Maori, based in Napier, New Zealand, on July 27, 2010, was one of the most exciting I've seen in over 40 years. That was MEAN MAORI MEAN!!!... i'v seen the same similar thing, this was in 1994 it was only a man his wife and new born... whilst the kuia's were doing there karanga the man was doing there own. It was a spectacular moment at the time i thought "Things like this dont happend often" lol... man done his own whaikorero, arohamai, mohio tana ingoa??... kaore ahau.
