Man this is awesome, I run an AI Championship and stuff like this will be absolutely game changing! - If you can make it where you can potentially set it to have rules for each compound? For example like, If soft - Pit this lap for this tyre, if medium pit this lap for this tyre etc That way we can still have a big variation in strategy!
i dont usually comment much but this mod is amazing. One downside of assetto corsa compared to other franchises like the f1 games and acc is that although the hotlaps are good in ac, the racing is bad due to the lack of strategy. bravo and hopefully you can continue polishing this mod
Love this app but i have a few issues when setting it up. When loading into a track nothing pops up in the setup screen and then when I manually open the ai pit app it just gives a small text box saying that track physics aren't enabled. I've seen others saying to look in the setup part of the app but I cant seem to even access that button.
Looks like I can dust off AC, not touched it in about a year, I'm looking forward to trying this mod out, having no AI pitstops was one of the things I've been solely using AMS2.
m8 thanks a lot for creating this mod, it is exactly what ac was missing. Just a question though, I had configured the AI to stop twice, once on lap 10 and then on lap 20. They did pit on these laps just fine, but then, on the next lap they pitted again. Basically whilst I had configured just 2 pits, they pitted on laps 10,11,20 and 21. Is there any way to fix it? Honestly, my best guess is probably some kind of bug with the alternative strategy option but I haven't had the time to test it. TIA and tnx for the great mod as well! (P.S: The RARE mod was not activated at the time and I was using the RSS Formula Hybrid 2023 on pyyer's f1 zandvoort track)
The mod looks amazing! However, I see there is something improvable that would make the mod definitely a game-changer. I mean, for example, let's suppose a 1 stop race. You can select if the AI will start with the same compound or not, but every car will switch to the same compound in that pit stop. Since the invert strategy option is available only for races with 2 stops or more, when races are only 1 stop, every car will do the same strategy (you won't see Hard -> Soft and Soft -> Hard). Would it be possible to programme, let's say, three plans (A, B or C) so every AI car will do one from those strategies? Another thing I would like to see is the option for refuelling in pit stops, like in R.A.R.E. app. Besides all of that, the mod is amazing!
It should pop up once the app is installed. However, sometimes CSP doesn't show it. If it doesn't start a race and open the app window from the right-hand side menu apps list. Then it should show in the menu if you restart the session from content manager. 👌
The application works very well but I have a problem. I set up a race with two stops around lap 20 and 40. All cars stop on lap 20 and 40 but some also stop randomly during the race... I don't know what to do to correct this.
Assetto Corsa does have tyre degradation, but I don’t know if it is something that comes with mod cars only. For example turning up Tyre Wear to x5 in content manager then racing rss f1 cars with soft tyre compounds. You will see the AI going much slower after a few laps ad their tyres are dead!
i play also custom offline championship with historical cars. does it work with all the years cars? for example the time during the 90 for the pit was around 8/10 secs. does it simulate that too? thx
Yeah this will work with any cars! If you unpack the cars data in content manager the app will automatically read the time it takes for that cars pitstop. If you haven’t unpacked the cars data there is a slider in the setup menu so you can manually input how long tyre changes take for the cars!
Hi i managed to make the tyre choice random everytime (at the start every ai has a random tyre compound and when they pit also get a random tyre). If you want i can send it to you. :)
help i cant join online lobbies it gives me a checksum and ai pit app= physics was not setup for this track, it has now been enabled but requires a restart. ihave to redownoad the track everytime i rejoin the server
Hi in rare cases servers can be running custom settings in the surfaces.ini file (this is the file that track physics buttons edit) I will need to investigate this, thanks for letting me know!
When I open the app in the pits it is asking me to enable track physics or something. Any solution to this as I'm not sure where I do such a thing. Thanks in advance.
Hi, each of my apps has an "Enable Track Physics" button. The Pit App has this in the setup window at the start of a session. Press the "Enable Track Physics" button and restart the session from Content Manager. Track Physics is required for each track for my apps to work. I have left a button to disable it for when playing online as to return the track files to default so you aren't kicked off servers for mismatching files. Thanks :)

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but the AI cars just won't drive into the pit. Although it looks like the app displays everything correctly.
Hmm that is very odd, first thing I would do is check is the LUA Debug app in game for any info on if there are any errors 👌🏼👍🏼

Hi, it seems that there is a rare case of cars when doing long races where they do default A.C fuel stops. I'm looking into this :)
@@x_Davo98_x I was able to solve the problem by deleting the "fuelcons.ini" file and for now it works! (500km race)
Hi, it's possible to introduce a pace car for starting the race and incident ? with another app ?
I don't think it's possible yet to spawn and de-spawn cars for use as a safety car, etc. But if that changes, I would definitely use it!

Is the app compatible with other tracks than f1 ? And can i use it with the rolling start mod ?
