I love how an advanced race of aliens summons turok to go behind enemy lines, rescue prisoners of war, destroy enemy supply lines, defend sacred beacons from enemy attacks, take on various creature-humanoid armies, and just sends him in initially with a bow and arrow and hand claw and leaves it up to Turok to acquire all the weapons and upgrades he needs to accomplish his task. bitch, give my man some advanced alien weapons and armor already.
I really appreciate the times stamps, just wanted to find out the oblivion portal and nothing else. Thanks man, you helped a fellow fan of this underrated game.
That game is almost impossible to complete on Nintendo 64. I own the game, the expansion pack and I could never finish it because of the very low FPS. I heard both turok games were re-released for PC with better graphics and controls. Now it's my chance to complete it. Also, this game has perhaps the best soundtrack from its time! Darren is a genius!
@@barsam2a it changed things from the original. All they had to do was change controls and that was good enough. They decided to change the UI for absolutely no reason, as well as edit level designs and item locations.
i hate HATE! this soundtrack. it still scares me to this day. those horns are haunting. scarier than the Conjuring Movies. love this game truly. one of few native american starring protagonists.
Watching this has just made me want to start a new quest! I haven't played this since a year ago now, very skillful play you're better than me at this Turok'ing business! :)
To me as a kid this lev was among the easiest because of many new op weapons with relatively easy routing, lots of room to fight and big enemies to offset the horrible aiming in the game. Always my choice to go here after 1st lev to be fully armed for lev2 and 4.
Music so bad I muted the sound... BTW if you buy pc version of T2SOE the music will not play AT ALL but the rest of the game and its sound effects run just fine, great game
You can't get it normally on the first path. I think you need to use the Eye of Truth path later which is the level 6 talisman, I'm not sure, its been a while.
+SFJake250 I think you need to backtrack with the Breath Of Life and swim to it, it's a very hard route, and will likely cost you a life getting the Scorpion Missile Launcher as you can jump into the cage but not out of it without dying. Worth it if you want to take on Level 2 and the first half of Level 5 with The Scorpion Launcher before you first properly find it after dropping the Master Computer Forcefields in Level 5.

Right? The primagen hooked their allies up with so many advanced weapons they had to store them in giant caves
There is more than enough supply laying around in the levels. No need to waste extra equipment on Turok.

I remember trying bow only, aiming for headshots every time. Those armor gorillas were such a huge danger.

I know right, the PC and the remastered version are missing some parts, like for example the second half of the song is cut and doesn't play at all
If you play around with the settings in the remastered version you can actually set up the N64 soundtrack

He was able to jump just high enough to touch the Shredder's hitbox to collect it. The PC version doesn't allow this iirc
