besides weird ufo looking tj lights, the ones u had already are better because they are projectored. Lumen count is one thing, but having a clear focus is another. They have Truck Lights, etc which look old school but they are haze, unfocused.
I snagged an '02 Safari last year, and it has those obnoxious ebay headlights installed. They're nice at night, but I know I'm blinding oncoming traffic because I'm constantly getting flashed (not the good kind of flashed). ;) They're kind of nice when the weather is clear, but when it's snowing in the winter, they're a serious safety issue because all I can see is the bright white snow. Even when it's raining hard, they're a problem. I'm definitely snagging a pair of the 3000Ks soon because not only do I want to stop being a douche who blinds everyone, but I also want a stock look with good visibility. I hate the way these ebay jobs look...they're made to go with the idiotic "angry face" grill that people ruin their Jeeps with...just my opinion though. Whatever look you're going for is cool, just stop with the cheap, blinding LEDs, and spend the money to do it right! I just wish you'd upload a night time driving video with these headlights installed so we can see how they perform! Maybe I'll make one when I get mine.
Are they aimed correctly? A lot of people don't adjust them when they put in new lights or when they do a lift. This means that they aren't pointed where they should be.
Much better head lights and look like they came from the factory like that...well done!
Thank you! I really like the factory look, it’s just so clean.
Ill have to pick some up for my Jeep. I hate the generic "LED" look, so these retro ones look great.
Agreed! I’m so happy with the stock look of the front end of my Jeep now.
That new light looks really good!
Thanks Forest, I think so too! I can’t wait to get the headlights adjusted and see how they do on the road.
…thanks for tipping me to buy these for my 97, keeping it classic
Agreed, I'm so much happier with it, my TJ no longer looks like it has black eyes!
Really like the way they look!
Thank you Ted, I have to agree with you there!
flat wall surface and distance would be much better to compare the difference
Can you tell what capacity & brand of mini-split unit you have handing in your garage & what state your located in? THANX!
