I finally bit the bullet for Cle De Peau and am in LOVE!!! I've always been a fan of Armani Luminous Silk but recently tried Chanel Vitalumier and it completely blew me away with how beautiful it is. I have combo skin but my cheeks are on the drier side and this worked amazingly on me.
I love how you fumble over your words and the names of products just like everyone else does. It keeps things real and doesn't make you sound stuck up in any way. Wonderful video Tati!
Tati i love your videos, you are an incredible woman!!! To be honest I feel you are a real roll model for women, definitely my favorite person to watch in UA-cam, the best of you is humility and that's something that a lot of people lack this day! Have a wonderful day Tati!
I was thinking the same thing Tati, I enjoyed this video even more than I normally do because you were extra quirky which was sweet. Oh yeah, and thanks for breaking my bank balance too because I really have to get that concealer... well I don't HAVE to but I want to. And it'll be a hell of a lot more expensive in Australia!
My favorite luxury item I have to have is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. At $92.00 for 1.7 OZ, it is so worth it to me. I have gone through several bottles in my life, and I do feel it works as no one believes I am 41 years old. Hugs to you Tati!
A crazy-as expensive foundation I've been going starry eyed over is the Ysl le teint touche eclat illumination foundation! I think it's even pricier than the nars sheer glow... :(
It's sooo worth it believe me! I was very skeptical when I heared all the rave but then I gave it a try and I was blown away!! If you have normal/skin I say give it a go and enjoy a radiant natural looking skin like never before :)
The Amore Pacific $50 Cleansing Foam cleanser is by far my all time favorite cleanser. Also their $50 toner. Can't go wrong with anything from that line.
I was thrilled when sephora brought back the Ambient Light trio. It's a better value than buying them individually. And yes, it is still crazy expensive.
Creme de La Mer is an absolute hands down the best moisturizer! My skin is very sensitive and every summer, I suffer with heat rash all over my face, lips and pretty much anywhere the sun hits. LaMer heals my skin fast and moisturizes quite nicely. Their serums are great as well. I agree with Donna Karan deodorant, it's a life-changing deodorant ;)
Thank you for this great informative video! I play your videos while I get ready EVERY morning! I really look forward to them... Keep up the good (inspirational) work!
I would have to say that my favorite, must-have, "high-end" item is the All Nighter setting spray by UD. I know it's no $70 concealer, but I feel it's still pretty pricey. Also, I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I REALLY appreciate how --unlike MOST beauty gurus on UA-cam-- you can review and talk about an expensive makeup product without making your viewers feel like crap, and without making it sound like, "Oh, you can't afford this? Ugh what's wrong with you?" It's just a genuine video with genuine opinions. So thank you, Tati!! :) xoxo
This video is dangerous to watch LOL I want it all now even me being a cheapo who rips gas station napkins in half to not waste them is all oh $70 concealer yea no problem haha ! :-)
Summer Peonies eau de toilette by Christian Dior. It's limited edition and no longer is being made, but u can get it online. It's super pricey, but smells so good and fresh! Grapefruit and peony!!!! I love it!
hahaha i know, right,I was watching this like $70 concealer is kinda standard here in Aus if you want anything more than 'drugstore'. Apparently Sephora are coming here in December though, and they'll be matching U.S prices, so yay!
Not sure if you'd consider it a luxury item or not, but I will never, ever be without Chanel's Inimitable Waterproof Mascara. I've tried ALL the drugstore and most of the department store brands and this is the only one I will use. It does amazing things for my lashes, and my watery, allergy plagued eyes cannot erase it!
I just bought the hourglass ambient lighting powder palette. TOTALLY RETURNING IT TOMORROW. Dupe - wet & wild reserve your cabana and ticket to brazil...yeah the same finish. same effect. but $3.
Estee Lauder double wear fundation. Giiiirllll.....this one makes my skin like silk, its really full coverage, the color is amazing, and looks really natural. I payed 389 kuna here in Croatia, thats around 65 us dollars. But it is totally worth the price. Love your videos tati :)
Hey Tati ! Just wanted to keep saying thank you for always keeping your videos (on the editing side) on the simple side. I'm loving not getting a headache from your videos because with others channel's,there's music in the back ground, also a lot of items, products, annotations, etc. Thanks for that! :) I literally gasped out loud when you mentioned the price for the concealer (that didn't work so well being in a quiet area with a fairly populated room)... YIKES!! IT HAS GOT TO BE LIKE THE HEAVENS OPEN UP WHEN YOU USE THIS CONCEALER. WHOA. It would be awesome if you would do a more in-depth video/ review (even though you know you love it) on this $70 concealer .? Maybe. Was quite interested. I seriously wonder how the company got that specific price for this product. Okay enough rambling... Great video Tati! Amazing job at being consistent with your upload schedule! Can always expect a video at 2am PST. Haha.... please don't ask. :D
the chanel creme shadows crease on me like crazy and the ones that i've had dried up and started to crumble in just a few months, unfortunately :( i've heard that sometimes chanel sales different formulas in europe for certain products, so that might be the problem. really glad you like them though, you are amazing
Hi Tati - do you prefer NARS Sheer Glow over Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua? I'm yet to try the NARS one because I believe I've found everlasting love in the Chanel but your words make consider straying... Thoughts? Mwah 😘
These are the types of products I would like buy to treat myself for being the A+ mom that has made it thru another week of 3 kids and a husband...think I may look into the Nars as summer is fast approaching..as always your gorgeous and thanks for the product info :)
Lancome Advanced Genefique Serum. Actually, I haven't found anything Lancome that I don't love Tati! You are my "go to" UA-cam guru. Thank you for all your hard work!
Hi, Tati, i really love the way you review products, since you are pro low budget beauty ...im suprised you havent done a "dupes" video,, I would love to see that!! sure you have a great "dupes" ideas !!!!!
It's not so much a product as a tool, but the Hourglass face brush number 1 is the best powder brush ever. It has the softest bristles ever. If you can find the longer handle, try that unless you want the shorter kind. (Longer one is a bit harder to find)
I love how serious and helpful you are, and then you say something super dorky and it's hilarious. ("Me and my $70 concealer are out of here." The tone.)
Hi Tati, I watched your May favorites and went out and bought the Donna Karen deoderant. First of all THANK YOU SOOOOO much. I have a weird problem were I don't sweat from my arm pits but my hands and feet. But for some reason when I started using this that has gone away significantly. I agree the price was a little to get use to but when I went to Nordstrom's it was only $19.00 AND it was 10% off. So I bought the last two they had and will never go without this again. I cannot tell you what this has done for me. So thank you a million times over. Hope u have a wonderful day. Just know u changed a part of my lift that was terribly embarrassing.
I'm sure you know about this hair product, but it is the moroccanoil. It is for your hair, and it is the best! Everyone loves and talk about it. I have gone through 3 or 4 bottles, and it is amazing. Fixes your damaged hair. It is quite expensive though...
Is it bad that I already have most of these products? Needless to say I agree with your picks. Anyway. Have you tried the hourglass mineral veil primer? It's divine and in my opinion leaves all other primers in the dust. Also their lip oil is gorgeous! And finally for days when you need your legs to look great but have no time to tan the This Works perfect legs skin miracle. Magic in a bottle.
Murad Intensive Wrinkle Reduction for Eyes with Durian cell reform has really helped my undereye wrinkles. About $100 for. 5 ounces. Totally worth it. You can find at Sephora.
I don't typically purchase pricey items so the only two thing I own that are my splurge items are the Dior highlighting powder in Amber Diamond and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume, nothing special or different from things everyone who splurges has tried :P I do really want to smell and purchase Bon Bon because if it is anything like Flowerbomb I know I will love it! I even love Spicebomb, their mens cologne!
Dear Tati, loved the video. Love love love victor&rolf(maybe cause ther dutch and i am as well:-) Another dutch product that has won awards and is absolutly the best is the concealer and foundation from Ellis Faas.........
sharing your love for hourglass in this video. you should review the chantecaille future skin foundation and ellis faas foundations, am hooked and would like to see your review :)
My splurge items are Lush bath bombs. While they don't seem like an expensive item, $5-8 a bomb, when you think about it that is a lot for 1 bath. I love almost everything Lush.
So I know most people don't know this and I do beauty school so I have learnt this but you are actually meant to use skincare all from the same line to get the most benefits out of a product. If it claims to be something and it isn't doing it then the product might just need to be put with line that the company has come out with and you'll see the benefits. I made the mistake of splurging on one skincare item and it not working but once I learnt this out I found that the products were really benefiting my skin.
My newest items at the moment is the It Cosmetics eye shadow Naturally Pretty. I love it. For me it goes on smooth and blends well. The other is Estee Lauder foundation for dry skin.
I actually borrowed my friend's Cle de Peau concealer years ago before I even knew what it was and I was like DAMN this concealer is good! At the moment I can't justify the price tag but eventually I might try it for funsies.
You look gorges girl !! My latest expensive purchase is clarisonic plus ,,,, I am in loooooove ,,, Also I got the Marc Jacobs eye liner and since I got it I didn't use any other liner ,, it's black , stays on ,, I was really crazy for not buying other colors ,, Btw.. Also, have loved the Shu Uemura cleansing oils for years but notice you're a bit advocate of Mac Cleanse Off, have you tried the Shu Uemura ? If so, which do you prefer ? This is probably not a good video to watch when you're suppose to be saving money haha

I love the Le Métier de Beauté Peau Vierge line! The concealer is great, as is the dark spot correcteur. Changed my skin!
I love your make up! It's the perfect combo. It's simple, chic, and it doesn't look all caked on which is a good thing!
YSL babydoll mascara!
All the wonderful Marc Jacobs brushes!
Joe Malone candles!
YSL lipsticks!
You look so gorgeous in this video!! So in love with your shiny dark hair!

I can't live without my Sisley Glow mask.. It's £70!! Which is about $140 but I love it. My face has never been so glowing before

Apparently Sephora are coming here in December though, and they'll be matching U.S prices, so yay!
yes i heard, but we'll just have to wait and see if they actually match US prices!! fingers crossed :)
The Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation is a great dupe for Nars Sheer Glow! Also, L'Oréal True Match is a close dupe from what I've heard.
thanks! i'll have to check out the neutrogena one, already have l'oreal true match
I am in exactly the same boat

Also, have loved the Shu Uemura cleansing oils for years but notice you're a bit advocate of Mac Cleanse Off, have you tried the Shu Uemura ? If so, which do you prefer ? I'm currently on the much hyped Boscia Make Up Break Up & not really loving it. Would love to hear your thoughts :)
Bobbi Brown extra repair eye cream! So worth the $70.
Try to use any of the Sensai bronzer or auto bronzers, considering you like brozers so much and you want challenges about expensive products I think you should try to use them if you can get them in USA, a dream to use, a nightmare to pay, LOL
