This crispy/crunchy, delicious baked cassava/yuca recipe is a quite a creative take on how to prepare this under utilized root staple. Please enjoy the video, and I hope you'll be inspired to try the recipe!

Cassava is really delicious. I first tried it in a Honduran soup, then started preparingon my own.. I have been prying the peels off with a knife. Good idea with the coconut oil.

Oh my goodness, I have never had baked, or I should actually say, where I’m from we make casserole dish with it, or we either fry, boil, or make meat patties out of them, but have never seen it done this way!!! Thank you for sharing I am sure going to give your recipe a try

I found your channel just in time! Been looking for baked cassava recipe but it's not widely known in my country. The way people in my country cook cassava is by either fry it, or just boil it. I did actually get to try this and they came out great! I did not add peppers, as the taste buds in my house are tender, but the strips were crunchy and nice! I've really become quite addicted to the Yuca Root!
