Spent months trying to figure out why when I changed the block off plate to a turbosmsrt bov that it made that noise, just found out last week that I have 2 bov’s now and the turbo smart isn’t doin shit. I’m brand new to modding cars but this was a learning experience for sure. Lesson: every noise has a source
I just installed my JBR TiAL bov and pipe, I love it. I think the spring finally broke in a little bit And now I get the nice crisp flutter. Also ran it to my intake manifold for boost source. Went and bought a slightly softer spring. Hope it brings out the sound a little more, we’ll see. Right now as my set up sits I get nothing when Revving the motor at a stand still. Hopefully the springs I bought help.
Only issue I have with this is that the BOV is open at idle, which is not the greatest thing. Usually it’s better to go with a 11psi spring so the BOV doesn’t float while open

I feel like the 10 psi spring is too tight , might need the 8psi spring and about the big turbo ,up I are correct , your ready to gooo !
I used the spring that comes in the cpe kit. From what I read, it’s what everybody uses

Not sure. I’m pretty sure cp-e sends it with whatever spring they recommend installed
