My friend and I were enjoying some great burgers in a nice restaurant when the two girls across from us started complaining about the smell of meat. I asked her if she was enjoying her blackberry cobbler. She was responded with a "yes, very much". I asked her if she realized the blackberry tart she was eating is a carnivore. She said "it is not, it's a fruit!". I told her blackberry's have long spikes pointed inward toward the plant mounted on long vines so that when the animals get entangled they die of starvation and decay feeding the plant nutrients. She suddenly didn't like her cobbler so much. And, bonus; we ate our burgers in peace.

I once told a guy I worked who claimed to be vegan that his rice crispy treat was made with animal bone marrow, after I saw him take that first big bite that is. The satisfaction of seeing him spit that bite out was comparable to an entire family I encountered that thought they were vegan while stuffing hostess products down their gullets. Ruined their fun day at the theme park I worked at, I’ll tell you that much. I don’t know why people who claim to be vegan tend to be less knowledgeable of food ingredients than most people who eat meat are, it’s weird as someone who isn’t vegan to tell “vegans” they’re doing it wrong.

It's said in humor, but it is actually true! When Vegans point out that it takes more vegetables to feed the livestock than it would to just feed humans, they are ignoring that livestock still need to eat! They will starve our food!

Eating meat is not a personal choice. It forgets the one who suffers. The animal. Plants don't suffer like animals. Less plants are needed for plant based diet, cause a lot of plants are fed to animals that land on plate of meat eaters.
Veganism is not overboard, exploiting and killing sentient beings who are as intelligent and sentient as human babies is overboard.
U can be perfectly healthy being vegan eating sprouts, fermented foods, wild herbs, soaked nuts, ripe seasonal fruit. Eating meat is not just suffering for animals it is suffering for humans and relative of humans too cause humans don't have to get heart diseases but they get em if they do not live a life full of joy, love and patience (being able to live with rhythm of life) - Chinese medicine, psychosomatic. You get more sensitive eating more natural plant based food (cut processed food, sugar especially white refined sugar and thermophilic yeast in bread) and experience what it means to LIVE and to live life with an open heart full of love and compassion.. not just to survive. Why you think world is fucked up like it is? laying golden eggs for state (peculated taxes) like the hens, getting milked like cows at gas stations (unnecessary high prices and huge profit for companies) wars and wars that fleeced/eviscerated our ancestors like pigs. It is all karma, law of attraction, hermetic laws. We experience what we "put out".
Fish farms and cattle farms produce massive amounts of shit. Food choices can cause massive amounts of shit. Figuratively and literally. Why are many humans hungry, lack nutrition and/or starving to death on this planet? Because other humans "food" (exploited and/or killed animals) eats away their food (plants, grains, soy etc.) Fermented soy - tempeh has heightened amounts of vitamin K which heightens intelligence/brain function and slows aging. Asian countries traditionally and for centuries eat a lot of fermented foods like tempeh and kimchi. Food for thought.
The amount of omega 3 humanity needs cannot be provided through fish. there is not enough fucking fish. But it can be provided through algae and hemp seeds. Also, fish stores toxins in fat cells, toxins accumulate in fish. There are more toxins in nature nowadays and in fish. It is therefore not even healthy to eat fish besides fish being sentient being feeling pain being fished and killed. There is much less amount of toxins like micro plastic and aluminium in algae and hemp seeds than it is in fish cause like I mentioned above toxins accumulates in fish fat.

In my opinion, vegans are right but wrong, animal cruelty is bad and we shouldn't encourage it, but we encourage it by eating animals. But it's natural, we are animals, we need to eat meat, it is healthy for us to eat meat. Other animals eat other animals. Humans are just on top of the food chain. Yes we should preserve the world but veganism is one of those things like feminism where the majority aren't going to jump on board. Change my mind.
It's offensive because it's a generalization of all vegans. Just like meat eaters get offended by being generalized by vegans. See I just generalized meat eaters, saying that they all get offended by being generalized by vegans. As long as we don't generalize all people in a certain group or religion, no one will probably get offended. I didn't personally get offended by the video, but that doesn't mean that the next person won't. We are all different, and you'll probably never understand the way other people react. We have all had our own experiences, and struggles. Until you get put in someone else's shoes, you will never understand "most other vegans", or most other people in general.

I was vegetarian for two years and let me tell you all i got were complaints and criticisms from people around me. Never once did i tell someone not to eat meat but i got "just eat the meat" from my family almost daily. I think everyone just needs to shut up about what other people choose to eat and go after the psychopaths who force their dogs on vegan diets

You shouldn’t shame them but if you don’t eat meat for everything other than health reasons, so for moral, logical or environmental reasons, it is only logical to encourage others to do it too. Because if you do it for these reasons, you want things to change for the better.

I have no problem with people only eating vegetables. It's their life. There are a lot of different species on the Earth and killing others for food always's been a part of a natural order.
Humans wield enough power to bend the natural order, of course, but is there really really a good reason we should?
I just dont think thats the case.
And even if we had such a reason - there are lots of implications. Economics, healthcare, food security, huge industries, heavily reliant on animal products etc.
And taste, too. It tastes good and really makes my day sometimes.

I'm not against vegans. I'm against vegans that force their belief on others. I had a coworker who was vegan and I didn't know until the first time we had a catered lunch and she asked where the vegan option was. Not in a rude way, we had 4 or 6 different lunch options all packed in the same box just with the option check marked on the box.

People who say "hey vegan eat some meat" are just as bad as vegetarian people saying "you should become a vegetarian". Why don't you instead of shoving your beliefs in people's face just show how much you enjoy your diet. Everyone has their own values in life.

You know, the more arguments in favor of meat-eating I see, the more I find myself convinced. Here are the ten best arguments that managed to sway me.
1. Lions eat meat and science has yet to prove that lions and humans are in anyway different.
2. Humans are always getting marooned on desert island that have no vegetation but manage to sustain animal life completely by magic. All animals that is except for humans, thus forcing us to eat animals.
3. Protein is the only nutrient in existence and we need it a vast abundance of it and only animal-products have it. The adds that we want to believe say so and that makes it true.
4. There are some unhealthy products that don't contain animals products therefore the movement has no credibility whatsoever.
5. Cows like being milked because their udders would explode otherwise and the only way to milk them is by human hands. I mean, it's not like they gave birth to calves or anything. Everyone knows that cows come fully grown from the ground like potatoes, so the milk that they produce is strictly for human consumption.
6. Plants are alive and while animals don't have feelings, broccoli certainly does.
7. Meat tasty. Yum. (If that's not compelling logic, I don't know what is)
8. Plant agriculture also contributes to the deaths and misplacement of non-human creatures. The only solution is to contribute to it even more by supporting the meat industry.
9. Vegans are inherently pretentious, smug and are always pushing their live-styles on the rest of us, whereas we meat-eaters have the magical ability to taunt vegans with our lunches, shove meat into their faces for a laugh, push meat and dairy consumption on Television, in magazines, on billboards and everywhere else, mock veganism on just about every mainstream comedy show, talk ad-nauseum about the joys of eating meat to those who clearly aren't interested and try to trick vegans into eating meat, while somehow not being even remotely pushy or arrogant. This incredible skill can only be acquired through eating streak.
10. Meat makes you smarter which is why our arguments make as much logical sense as they do.

Imagine if everyone on Earth was vegan. Sounds great right! In theory, but not in practice. Think of how much plants we would need to sustain all almost 8 billion of us, you can’t grow that much plants, it would take too much effort. But, even if we could, where would we do it? The Earth is does not have enough suitable land to farm plants for all the humans in the world, and even if it did, many crops soak the nutrients out of the soil they grow in over time, this would force us to desperately look for available farming land when there isn’t any left. Eventually (and pretty quickly) we would be cutting down forests, drying up lakes, and destroying other habitats just to find available farm land. Some people’s private property may even be seized. And all this doesn’t even include the fact that the population of all species that we have stopped eating will increase tremendously because the animals we would have normally eaten would stay alive, and have children, than they would have children, then they would have children, etc. Think of all the space we would need to maintain them. They would be packed in even tighter, more unsanitary, more inhumane conditions than they are in today (that you vegans already speak so passionately about, not saying that’s a bad thing) just to have room for all of them, plus the farm land we need to grow human food. Oh, and the addition of food for the extra, overflow, herbivorous species will need space to be grown since we will have to keep them alive too.
We can not, as a species, be vegan. If you and some others want to be, that’s fine with me. But your world wide vision has much too many flaws. You need to focus more on the reality of what would happen in scenarios with drastic changes like this one, not just the part that makes you happy. It’s a good vision for you I guess, but definitely not a realistic one. Besides, how would we even make the whole population be vegan? The only way is to execute the people who refuse, and that’s a little harsh. We are going for cruelty free, aren’t we?
So, no. Definitely not the best way to “Save the planet.”
P.S. More animals and less plants also means less oxygen and more carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere. Just food for thought.

People do not need to go extra vegan but at least eat less meat from poper more sustainable organic farming and nose to tail like people in the 1950s/60s did. It is scientific proven that circa 70-80% of your food should be alkaline (vegetables, fruits,...etc) and only 20-30% acid (meat, grain,...etc.). Human never ate the way we do since the 1970/80s.
