I just got the 2018 Honda Sport and love it. My first Honda was a 2008 still running good with over 200K miles. I did take good care of her though on time with oil changes and all. I just bought a knew gear shift and I'm having trouble taking the sleeve off to put it on. Anyone got an easier way to do this without messing up the leather sleeve?
Yo bro I got the 2019 touring an had two accords prior and thought I knew everything but I had no idea you could roll windows back up after they roll down, thank you bro much appreciated
My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice...
Thanks for reaching out! I will do a video describing what to do because when I first got the car. I was confused as well on how to turn that feature off.
Yes, you just have to have the fob with the start button and get it programmed. It can be pricey so if you are going to do it make sure the person actually knows what they are doing
No, you do not have to code or program the key, it comes like that from the factory. All these features are becoming more standard with newer vehicles.
@@larhonda31324 Yikes, sorry about that :\. Straight from an Accord forum: Remote start comes standard on 2018-2020 EX, EX-L, and Touring trims. It also comes on the Sport trim if you opt for the 2.0t engine. It also comes on the Sport Special Edition trim for 2021. The only trim levels that don't come with remote start are the LX and the 1.5t Sport trims. In all honesty, I think it just depends but like I said, coming standard from the factor 9 times out of 10. For reference I have a 2018 Accord EX 1.5T
@@deathkilla44 you can just buy a factory ex-L key from honda and get it programmed for your car, lx and sport trim has the ability to remote start you just didnt get the button on your key fob
How do I get the speed limit to show back up on my windshield as I drive on the 2018 Honda Accord? Not sure what I did to cause it not to show anymore.
Hello, under your driver side vent, there is a button that says HUD. Hold that button for 2 seconds and then use the up or down button to adjust the brightness. If that doesn’t work, reach out to me again so I can see what may be the problem
It’s automatically sets it to something like 72 I think, it won’t change even in the weather, but if you leave the seat warmers on it will turn them on again if you remote start
Mine is a 2018 EX And all I do is hold the lock button, count to 5, then hold the other button and count to 5. If I do it quickly it won't start either. If you haven't been able to start it yet give this a try.😊
The only thing that you need to program is the fob if it has a start button but if you want to do all the other features, you still can because it comes standard on all the trims
Great looking car I have the 2019 sport in white with red leather seats love mine very sporty
I got the honda accord 2021 lx it’s my first car at 18 I’m in love with this car
Also you can custom your clock screen back ground to what ever pic you like.
I think jus different colors
How?
This is the clearest instruction I’ve seen in all the remote start videos. Now I want to go downstairs and try it 😂
Is there a roll up windows trick with remote ?

How to you see the tire pressures?
Nice. Just bought a 2020 Hybrid Touring and thought the gas fill door was always unlocked. Turns out I've always had it unlocked, nice!
I just tried it and it worked thank you!!

So don’t get a 1.5T accord sport? Also, did you have auto lock or keyless entry???
I have a 2020 mines don't turn on on it's own
1.5’s are arguably the worst trims to buy from Honda always get the either base model or 2.0
@@theleanman9558 The 1.5 is the base model! Did you mean 2.0 or hybrid?
@@johnnymade8426 I thought the base models were the EXL’s or whatever then 1.5 then 2.0/ 2.0t
Wow!! Thanks for the video ! Any tips for better sound system?
Replace the stock system with an upgraded sound system or just add a subwoofer if ur only concerned about the bass.
Thank you! Just got this car…how do i turn the lane departure vibration off?
Thanks for reaching out! I will do a video describing what to do because when I first got the car. I was confused as well on how to turn that feature off.
You cant you only can turn it off i drive with the button to stay inside the lane but i turn lane departure off…
I have the same blue 19 accord sport my fob doesnt have that start button can i go biy the fob with the start button and have them program it?

Holy moly, wait do you have to code or program the key in order to remote start or roll down all windows? This is insane 🔥

My remote start didn’t work for me 🙁
The only one that comes with the remote start is the 2.0t. I was lucky to already have remote start on mine.

How do you setup when you leave keys in the car the doors don't lock ?
Check lock settings, mines will lock all doors but mines
Any chance the ac/fan/heater turns on automatically with remote start depending on car temp

Any clue on how to make the interior lights turn on for a bit after you shut the car off? Mine used to do it, but for some reason it no longer does it
I will do a video showing how to do it because I was having the same issue.
It's a setting for interior lights and u add how long the lights stay on after the car off
You’re making want to wrap my Honda with the blue color
