That's great! Good mini except I had some issues with the eyes if I don't remember incorrectly - they seemed somewhat undefined?
I had similar problem, so I simply freehanded bigger eyes...
I picked up one of these a bit ago and it’s been sitting in my box of shame. It’s a little intimidating for a beginner, but I think I’m going to give it a go after watching this.

Nice work. Personally I would have painted the wing membrane a more light leathery colour. Just for contrast. Bar that wonderful job.

Congrats on 1,000 mate, could not of happened to a more deserving creator. I think your Pit Demon came out great, you had a vision and went with it had some issues along the way and in stead of giving up you hit it head on. Here is to the next subscriber goal *Raises a horn mug*.

Loving this journey you are on and congrats to the 1k. I am sure your channel will blow up. What I like is that you are just a passionate creator that does their best on each mini but you are not going all pro, condescending and trying to impress us all. Instead you just showing us what you are doing along your journey and mistakes and thought processes that you go through which to me is more valuable as I have encountered similar issues and enjoy seeing how you have solved similar problems in painting. Keep it up.

Lol I was like wtf Mephisto Red as a base-coat? I was curious to see that train wreck. Green, purple orange color palette. To make the figure not look like its floating on the base you could go with a cyberpunk neon demon base. black with neon purple blue and green. That actually sounds like fun lol. Dude does got that DJ pose going on, "The Rave Demon!" or "X-tacy Demon"
Haha! I know! I wasn't sure what I was thinking. I honestly think it was my lack of knowledge with the Citadel paints to be honest! Haha! One day perhaps I will make something cyberpunk:ish! It is a genre I do enjoy! :)

@@DevsDice It was interesting to see you stop the video early on about rethinking your approach on the painting of the PD- I was thinking I was going to base him black myself. I think that black gives him a gritty look followed by the successive red colors. Great sculpt and I dont think he's as easy to paint as people may think- Im not a fan of one color miniatures- they can be very tricky to paint.
Basing black is the way to go if you want to build up to red for sure! I know that now but "back then" naaaw not so much! :D
I might try to make a black cloak to fit around him like the Lord of Darkness from 'Legend'

About the only thing I might suggest as a finishing touch on this mini would be hitting the horns with a black wash to improve the textured look.

Certainly tabletop quality. I just wish you brought out more of the details in this mini. It has some great details where it transitions from a skin texture to more of a scale texture, but those details are lost in this monochrome paint scheme.

Army painter stuff what are absolute necessity's if I want my pit devil to look like yours (maybe a bit more on fire like)
Chaotic Red, Abomination Gore,Pure Red and Lava Orange for the skin! Hope it helps! Good luck! :)
