@@DevsDice I think you do great with every miniature that I have seen you do! I recently did a mini painting duel that I didn't win but I'm still super happy with the result of the mini if you have a place I could share it with you?
No problems Jakob! Thanks for sharing the idea! I am happy that it will help man! Haha yeah I do like my basing - must be from the terrain building-days :)
Ahh nice! Yeah of monsters I do like them like the Displacer Beast, they have something that makes them a bit more challenging for the players! Thanks again! 😀
Great job and love you walking us through the basing as well. As a side note, my daughter won’t sit through any other painting videos but yours, so you are hitting multiple wins in our house. :)
Really enjoy watching your experiments and following your process. Definitely my favourite painting channel, right here. Keep up the great work and videos!
The Displacer Beast came out great, but that base is amazing mate. I was getting the vibe that is was a night scene with the colour on the rock reminding me of Avatar movie with the black panther type beast scene.
Oooh thanks Nate I appreciate the compliment but yeah I have some skills left to learn before I can do Pandora justice! Thanks for the kind words - as always! 🤘
This came out amazing man!!!!!!!!!. Don't go anywhere with out superglue and activator it's a lifeline for the older metal model but this is still an awesome model
Haha thanks man! Yeah superglue and activator or baking soda as well. That stuff is potent as hell and a lifesaver when one needs to "weld"! Thanks again man! :D
Wait, what currency are the tufts in, because now I wonder if I'm getting screwed on tufts in Poland :D? Love the music on the reveal, D&D never felt so gangsta :P.
@@DevsDice Huh, slightly cheaper, but still, interesting compared to how everyone here says that the Scandinavia is sooo expensive. Thanks for a rapid response :).
Have you considered just clipping the pre made base off of the model? That’s what I always do. Even if there’s a bit left around the feet, that can be covered up easily after basing.
@@DevsDice no problem! When i found your channel I was inspired to paint up my zombie beholder without washes. Since then I’ve felt much more confident with relying less on them! Thanks so much and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Wow no problem! Yeah washes are good but at the same time I do feel like you don't need them really, you just need to start darker hence defining the shadow color. :) Happy to hear that the video inspired you! Thank you so much for telling me! :)
The dark tones on this model are fantastic.
Cheers man! Yeah I went overboard a bit first but then sort of glaced over them highlights to bring everything together a bit more!
Leif!!!!! You killed it once again!
Hahahaha! I do try my best to do so every time but it rarely happens! I am glad you liked it! :) 👍

Of course! Shoot me an e-mail or so?
Also, winning is not important - learning is! ;)
@@DevsDice Of course!
Thanks so much Leif! The end result look incredible! I'll be referring to this video once my mini arrives. Awesome base by the way!

One of my favourite D&D monsters and once again a cracking video Leif and a cracking finished result.

It truly amazes me how you can take the simplest miniature they make. And literally bring it to life! Awesome as always ✊🤟
Thanks man! I really do enjoy the Wizkids monsters! Slowly moving through them boxes... :)
Wow it looks great! Always love your videos.
Thank you so much James! I appreciate it! :)

Hahahaha! Thank you so much Blake! It's always nice to hear that people appreciate the videos! Hope that I can keep entertaining! :D
Dang Lief, you upgraded your UA-cam game big time. Really digging the editing, sound and composition. Keep it going brother, much power to you.
Hey Harvey! Thanks man! I do try! It's fun and I will keep at as long as I feel the same way man! But thanks for noticing! ;)

Thank you so much! This makes me so glad! I will try! ;) Thank you kindly again!
looks good man, nice work

Good job
Thank you! Yeah I am somewhat happy with it! :)
Devs & Dice it was awesome! You should be happy with it:)
This is inspiring me to re-tackle my displacer beast... I had the same issue with the tentacles!
What specific coconut husk bits do you use!?
That's good to hear! This was a long time ago! I used IKEA coconut fibre that I grinded down. Sorry to say they do not sell these anymore AFAIK! 👍😢

Thanks, bud, I just bought this today.
Ah awesome! Have fun painting it up! it was super-fun!
I think, I have officially seen every boxes of shame video.
Nice! Thanks for that and hope you liked them :D
I did like them. (That was a really fast response)
I try my best! Happy you liked them! :D
Snyggt! :)
Thanks Mr. "Wimpa79" who I suspect I know personally from an age long forgotten. Let's call it mediegymnasiet! Tack gubben! :)

Yeah I like to mix it up! :D

Huh, I am somewhat surprised as well to be honest. I know Sweden is among the cheaper of the Nordic countries...I think. :)

Yeah I think I have, I usually take it on a case-by-case base but perhaps I should consider it more often! :D Thanks for the comment! :)

+1. awesome work.
do you happen to have any warrior mini with a spear?
I am not sure to be honest, I will keep my eyes open! :D
@@DevsDice appreciate it good sir.
Hmmm. apply varnish to the ink so that it does not flow. It's a great idea
Thank you so much! 👍😊
Your face scares me yet is friendly.
Hahahahaha! I am not sure what to say to this! 😂 Thanks? Sorry? 🤣
Dragons pls
Haha! Yeap they are in the backlog!
