2 tsp lime juice or lemon zest
2 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Mixed Spice
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp Rose Water
1 1/2 tsp Almond Flavor
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 Cup Browning or More
4 - 5 Cups Of Soaked Fruits
4 Cups Baking or All Purpose Flour .

That is not necessarily true, if you get eggs which properly stored.
Love your preparation and your method Shanna but I think you could bake your Christmas cake at 250 degrees instead of 350 degrees. The baking time would be just over 2 hours but the cake would bake more uniform and even more moist...just a suggestion. I just subscribed to ur channel and I'm looking forward to more of your videos. Blessings my sister.
It does dry out the cake when the temperature is too high.

First time I have come across removing the eye of the egg. I didn’t even know that was called an eye or that I even noticed it. I have never done anything with it other than leave it as is and have had no ill effects from doing so. Also what does adding lemon to the egg accomplish?
The lemon zest not to make the cake raw .
The eye of the egg or CHALAZA is what makes the egg taste RAW and smell FRESH like the ocean. The lime juice/zest is used to cut the raw, ocean fresh smell. I'd never be able to eat your cake, because the smell alone would make me gag and vomit. Not everybody knows how to make a safe raw free cake..
U didn't show d actual texture of d cake. When u cut d cake u must show d texture so one can see how moist it is. I want to try ur recipe but not seeing d texture is holding me back

Yes you can
Try and use the dark muscovado sugar next time- no need to use browning.
It's ok but you need to show a slice or or where you remove the slice so we can see the texture

Some people do. but it’s best just to add it when it hot

Great video. i tried the recipe but my cake came out a bit spongy, not dense, what did i do wrong?
Did you use baking powder or baking soda because the only way it will be spongy if you use baking soda other from that I don’t know what would cause it to spongy .
Did you use the same amount of flour I use if you don’t and use all the other ingredients and less flour it will be spongy

It’s brown sugar
You can use the darker sugar, that’s organic cane sugar I use .
If you could post a list of your ingredients ahead then I wouldn't have to backup each time to get the #s then I could just watch your great cooking!

Rose water taste yucky to me.
You don’t have to add it if you don’t like it .
