Flash writers would never. This is master piece
I swear the writers really wanted to for a while, but because of Olicity backlash they didn't. Well, that and some of the bosses probably prefer Iris over Caitlin. Of course, it's possible that they just wanted to have a progressive relationship for the show, which would be a reason why they made the West family African American. I love the character of Joe, and Wally is a good secondary character, but still. I personally wish they didn't give the red & yellow suit to African American Wally. He's supposed to have red & silver, right? at least, based on an image I saw one time.
