I mean Joe calls Iris, Barry and Wally his kids, they all have refered to him as their dad, Wally and Barry have called each other brother and they've only known each other a couple of years and yet Iris and Barry spent 6-7 YEARS living in the same house together, having their heights measured, having family dinners and christmas' and everything that you attribute to as a sibling relationship but we're supposed to overlook that as they're not biologically related and Joe never adopted Barry because his dad was still alive and he didn't want to disrespect him or make it look like he was taking his place. They should watch the Fosters. The writers made the huge mistake of trying to make Barry rely almost entirely on Iris in season 3, whereas in previous seasons he relied on all of them to give him advice and see him through the tough times. The whole 'let's use magnets to disarm them' ploy was used by Felicity in their own show in season 2, which she apparently forgot about not 2 seasons later. I really wish they had kept Iris as a journalist that loved her job instead of shoehorning her into Starlabs as the leader when she literally no reason to have the job beyond nepotism. It's sad that they keep having to drag other better-written characters down to try and make Iris look like a leader.
Maybe he was a nerdy guy (Ronnie who worked on the particle accelerator) or maybe he was mean (Jay or Albert) Definitely, Maybe fits Snowbarry way too well.
It would have been great if caitlins actress played Iris character because she has much better chemistry with barry and is also physically more similar to the real iris west from comics.
Barry and Caitlin make sense they have had more chemistry then every other couple on the flash without being a freaking couple why haven't the writers paired them yet!
