@@toasterkolin9951 No, the gunner would literally have to leave his seat, climb up to the loaders place, reload the gun, go back to the gunners seat and shot. This would at least at least take 40 seconds... Just for 1 shot.

Repairing in the battlefield franchise has been incredibly op... speaking as someone who was a bf3 jet/heli whore
Was super common in Battlefield 3 and OP as well. You'd sit with a tank sniping everyone while taking no damage cause the Engineer behind you with a blowtorch keeps repairing you to full.
You can't fully repair the hulls of vehicles in Squad. Only certain components can be repaired, in this video the crew is repairing the tracks.

They COULD make repairing directional, but if you make it too restrictive then there's no point trying

Did they update the t-62 to be weaker, I remember the t-62 was pretty strong? Now it’s constantly being ammo racked?
Go in the range, t62 explode in 2shots from a leopard but even with 10 rounds of t62 in the flank, the leopard still survive
@@michel1733 The leopard can die in two shots, but it has to be close and shot in the bottom front only (where the armor angles down from the front of the tank). Other than that, the leopard wont take any damage anywhere else in the front
@@necrowarrior Which does make sense as the Leo 2, especially variants 5+ all have enhanced spaced armor on the turret and they also have blow out panels so no ammoracking the tank
Why would a T-62 not get ammo racked instantly by a Leo?
in fact, t62 got wet ammo storage which means they keep amo inside diesel fule section in order to prevent amo rack

In war thunder the T62 could’ve penned the side very easily with that first shot and LFP with any other shot after. And likely 1-2 shot killed with either of those shots depending what is hit inside

Irl the HEAT round would just pierce the main armor and maybe partially through the adjacent side. By the time it'd get to the second tank the Munroe effect would be lost and the molten jet of metal will have cooled and or fall out of proper lensing would be gone

The T-62 crew should have bailed when they had the chance to. They are not going to win a slugging match with a Leo 2A6 and with the track shot the T-62 could have escaped. When playing the T-62 you fight other tanks only when the circumstances favor you, otherwise you are screwed.
They got multiple shots on the Leo before the Leo even saw or hit them. By all respects they should have won this fight. I suspect the broken armor mechanics screwed the T-62 crew hard. This happens all the time to me. Half the time I can't even pen the side armor of a Leo when I play the T-62. It's been this way for years.

If they balanced it like that. There would be no point in some of the vehicles being in the game
Then you would need to drastically reduce ticket cost of a t62 to like two tickets, you would also need to make field repairs require a supply vehicle at least. So the t62 can track or disable a leopard and then not have the crew magically repair it.
The sideshot shouldve knocked the whole turret crew out if Tank Combat in this game was realistic

Waiting - Leopard 2 withstood five T-62 shots.
Reality - Leopard 2 received a one-shot from the T90.
The leopard also had 3 guys repairing which repairs the damage meter very fast
The difference is one is T-62 and the other one is T-90
With another difference T-90 haven't shoot at leopard but rather kornets
