A interior crossbar that attaches to the interior T-Track could be cool. The bar would have more T-Track across it so you could mount accessories in the middle of the tent too.
The engineering and the look of your metal parts looks high quality. 👍 Have you considered bringing a version of your Platform RTT with the side doors opening downwards, with the mesh screen on the outside - just like the two small side windows? That way, the canvas part of the side doors, can be zipped down for extra ventilation in warmer climates. But if privacy is a concern, you can simply choose to partially zip the canvas down and continue to maintain privacy - and without having to open the mesh first to get to it (canvas cover). Particularly important if in mozzie prone areas. And if the weather turns nasty in the middle of the night, you can just as easily and quickly get to the canvas covers and zip them back up without having to first open mesh screen and potentially letting bugs in.
Can you briefly talk about the mattress? What’s it made out of? I’m assuming a sleeping pad on top would be redundant/unnecessary. Does it come with a cover? Is the cover removable to wash? If you’re sleeping in a sleeping bag, is a sheet necessary or does the regular cover get the job done? Thanks!
What year is that LC? Also, is there a way to open the window from top to bottom to ventilate on cold weather? I can imagine a lot of condensation build up in the inside of it can’t let out the hot air from breathing
Can someone talk about the mounting? It seems that it's unconventional and I may have to buy other mounting kits for my truck. I can pick one up at a local dealer, but I may not be able to mount it to bring it home. There are no information on their website.
We have different mounts available depending on the vehicle that you have, feel free to shoot us a call / text at (406) 905-0987 and we can help you with mounting options 🤙
I came for the tent walkthrough. I stayed for the Donut Media shirt.

Would like to see more of that Land Cruiser
Love seeing the BTS of production
Excellent overview. Thank you!
Looked great until you got to the top letting light in- I would much rather have something pitch black to sleep in, that would absolutely wake me up
Fantastic stuff.
This is a really nice tent.

Would looooove to see a direct mount kit made for the GX470 like you have for the 4Runner 🥺🙏
Great Vid, beyond well done!
Awesome video, do you have plans to support the new defender roof track mounting? Thx!
Realllllly want this setup for my jku, but I didn’t see any mounting options that are like this. Really don’t want to run a roof rack.
Love seeing Donut Media stuff around the internet
Which T-nuts are used to hang stuff from inside the tent from the top tracks, the Track Nugget or the Platform Camper Track T-nut? Thanks!
Can a light bar be installed on the front of this like normally installed onto the front of an aftermarket roof rack?
Any hope you will make a 4th Gen 4runner roof mount for the RTT?
The first thing to talk about is your beard ... where did it go??? 👀..
HRSPRS😂 from donut
Really wish there was simpler/cleaner solution to attach the v2 rtt to the leitner forged rack..
The simple strap system works great for the leitner rack!

What’s the total height of that Land Cruiser with the tent closed?
Is there a way to prop open the outer panel for rain protection when going in?

The track on the inside of the tent is the same t track on the outside? And what about condensation mats?
Yup! And condensation mats are not needed as the honeycomb panels acts as a good insulator.
@@GFC what about financing options cause I’m suuuper broke
@@GFC That really works? You don't get mold or moisture under the mattress?
What is the required crossbar separation?
all this innovation and still no skylight
Plenty of windows to let the outside in!
Dude it’s a clamshell what other clamshell tents have a skylight?
@@hunteranfinsen2804 You can get an Area BFE Black Series with a skylight, but this still looks like a nicer tent than the Area BFE.
Does this land cruiser have a Instagram?
