Yes! This is literally one of the most important episodes of the entire series because it gives Darryl full knowledge about them being witches, introduces astral projection which is used through the rest of the show, and shows how well the sisters can clean up their messes at the same time.
We realize in this episode that Prue is very very very very powerful. With a wave of her hand, she effortlessly repels bullets that arrive at at least 300 meters per second.
I remember seeing this in the TV guide book and has to be my favourite and one of the most memorable episodes, I love how Piper freezes the bullets then Prue moves them back into the hit woman, then how Prue astral projects to Piper, how Prue looked badass and Antonio Sabato Jr Omg 😍 this episode was just phenomenal.
“I don’t even have time to have fun anymore”, I know that feeling… I’m the last 3 months, I’ve basically had no fun and today is the first day I’ve done any Christmas shopping. 🤦♂️
Okay, but can we talk about how Prue is a total badass in this scene?!🔥 🔥 🔥 Not only did she react so quickly to the bullets being fired at point-blank range, but she also redirected them toward the hitwoman with enough force to murder her. Prue is one bitchin’ witch!!!
I hate how throughout the series they made telekinesis so common when in the beginning it was a special power reserved for Prue but then a lot of demons had the same power, then Billie, and so on.
They were undermining it even in the Pilot. Remember Jeremy moving the furniture blocking the attic door at the end? I never realized it until recently but why would he need to steal Prue’s telekinesis if he already had that power? 😂 Still love this show tho!
It was a powerful power for witches to have because of how limitless it could become and she got it because she was the eldest, but they never said that it wasn’t a common power for demons/warlocks to also have it. Also, Billie had it because she was 1/2 of “the ultimate power” so of course that’s one of the powers that goes along with it
@@rayquancaldwell2548 But if telekinesis was a common power for evil, why were demons and warlocks always trying to kill the Charmed Ones to steal their powers? Why not go after another witch or another evil entity who was less likely to kill them? They're evil - it's not like they care who they kill as long as they get the power for themselves. And the Charmed Ones are "the most powerful good witches ever known."
It might be a common power in charmed. But Prue's level of mastery is the best out of them. Since she is the eldest plus the Charmed One thus it making her telekinesis stronger than the demons. That is why they wanted Prue's Telekinesis. Prue's magical energy as an Eldest Charmed One that fueled the spells and her telekinesis
They still don’t know the Dream Sorcerer was a mortal too. Barbas was supposed to remain in the underworld for the next 1300 years, he had 1299 left to go. But he broke the tradition and came back *way* early. U would think after his 3rd encounter, when he meets Paige and failed again, he would’ve learned his lesson and stopped. The girls only defeated him twice, and vanquished him the 3rd time. But he keeps returning for revenge because he’s the kind of demon of “Nobody defeats or vanquishes me. I defeat or vanquish them”. P.S. Piper says its Friday the 13th and bad things happen. It’s just like in all those cartoons of “It can’t get any worse than this”, and it does.
I think they got rid of that 1300 years rule because of how much the fans loved him even though he was a bad guy, they kept finding ways to keep bringing him back 😆. But if he was smart he should’ve stayed away for another 1300 years he would’ve eventually outlived the sisters and Wyatt and his children’s children and so on.
There were so many rules that they apperenly forgot like everyone can apear or travel everywhere like shimmer or orb once they got magic school más that was unbelibeable
As much as I love this episode and as many times as I've watched it (10+ times) I can never understand why Prue didn't just deflect the bullets into the wall or somewhere else, use her telekinesis to also grabbed the gun and then with that same hand throw her into a wall and then Piper freezes the hit woman. Prue got off scot-free with murder doing it this way. Still a great episode.
1. She thought it was a demon! And 2. They were clearly caught off guard and she only repelled the bullets at the last to protect her and her sisters! Almost like a reflex. Please don’t show sympathy for a literal hired assassin lol 😅
1. All of what I said could have been used as self-defense. 2. I'm not showing sympathy for an assassin that would make absolutely no sense. 3. Daryl would have came right over anyway to help them and arrest the woman if they did it that way. 4. Prue claimed self-defense which is what exactly what that was. However, in the real world she would have been arrested or at least taken in for questioning regarding her actions.
One of the most ICONIC scenes from the first 3 seasons
yes
I love this episode! This is the one where Prue discovers her power of astral projection.
Oh snap!! Is this the first time she used it?! Okay then 🔥
Me 2
And it's also when the sisters tell Darryl they're witches. An important episode.

Wich episode please?
If I can quote the legendary Gary Oldman:
"I like these calm little moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven."
The chemistry was chemistry-ing

And still couldnt do the same, when Shax killed her :(

Actually it was just prue who moved the bullets back to the woman she deflected it with her telekinesis
1:55 such iconic moment
Yeah, because it was in the opening. 😆
But also, why? Why couldn't Piper stay hidden where she was? :D

Prue always was the best character ❤

Imagine Prue’s unfocused telekinesis wouldn’t have had the strength to rebound those bullets? 😮
