I did this and got the auto window to work after replacing my battery on my 2017 CX5. Issue is I now have the crash avoidance dash light on and the orange “P!” Light on. Parking brake engages and disengages properly.
Hmm. This is what I suggest you try to do. Just disconnect the negative terminal for a good 20-30 mins. Then go back and reconnect it. Make sure that both the positive and negative terminal wires are on properly and tightened properly and then drive the car around for 15-20 mins. See if that resolves it. Good luck. Mazda tends to be very sensitive when the battery is not connected properly or in good condition.
