I wish you would of shown the entire process since you said it was so easy. Ive done what you said and the shroud of faux suppressor unthreaded from itself. Front piece with holes in it does will not budge
My buddy and I tried for hours to remove. We heated it with a heat gun and used the strap wrench. What ended up happening is the can unthreaded from the tip…unfortunately we still could not get the tip to release. I wish someone had a star type spanner to insert on the end of the shroud. Sooo frustrating.
@chrisnozisko8317 I would put a set of vice grips on that piece. I'm sure, like me, you aren't going to put it back on. If the strap wrench didn't work I would have used vice grips on it.
So im having a different issue. I dont want the faux suppresor off but i notice when shooting it starts to come loose and i keep having to retighten it with my hands when i get home. I also didnt need to use any type of tool to get it loose for some reason im able to just untwist it with minimal strength and it will come off easy… any suggestions ?🤦🏽♂️
Great video thanks!! I been trying for a couple days. Got a Mojave myself want to order a compensator what’s the barrel thread if you don’t mind sharing please ?
Been trying to get this off for the past 2 weeks! Salute to you.
Im sure it all depends on how much thread locker they put on it. You could try heating up the threads and then put a strap wrench on.
@@ftwbeard1730 I have to get a strap wrench first and then I'll try it with my heat gun it fails to loosen.
Did you have to remove the handguard? I wish the tutorial actually recorded the process.

Love it! right to the point, no BS speeches ! What the make and model of the suppressor youre using again?
@@wbathrick thanks! Running a dead air wolfman...its a great versatile suppressor.

Thank you ! I’ve been trying to get my off for weeks
How did you get the front part off? Did it come off in one piece? I got the shroud to come loose but the front end cap won’t move.
Mine all came off in one piece.
@@ftwbeard1730F*ck. I was afraid of that. Thanks for the help though!

@@ftwbeard1730Not a bad idea at all. I will keep you posted . Thanks again
Had to go to a gunsmith who adlibbed a tool to torque it off. 🤦🏼♂️

Any suppressor, fake or not will loosen up from the jolt. You could put some blue thread locker on it. The blue will come off if you want it to later.

Did you have to remove the handguard first, or did you get enough purchase with the wrench to remove it as-is?
No need to remove the hand guard.
How hard was it to take off?
Mine came off easy with the strap wrench.
@@ftwbeard1730 would it be easier to take off the plastic shroud as suppose to just putting the strap of the tip of the barrel shroud?
Did you have to remove the hand guard first?
Nope.
Does taking it off put the barrel under 16 or exactly at 16 if you know?
My barrel is just under 8 inches
@ftwbeard1730 ohh I gotcha. Thanks man! I bought the 16.3 carbine but want the faux suppressor off
@The_Big_Soup3 it's threaded into the front of the barrel so the faux suppressor doesn't add any extra length.
@@ftwbeard1730 oh sweet thanks bro!
Dude mine will not budge at all
This is how you make a video. Thanks brother.
Awesome! Thanks!
Thank you
Thank you for this video
