Even when Chris taught his sister to use weapons, you know (when all start in Resident Evil 2) Claire wasn't a militar, a mercenary or a cop... And she was only 19 years old. Claire is the character that you can identify more than others. She kill zombies and BOW by mere coincidence (she was looking for her brother) But know she can kick asses. You saw her growing game by game. Now she works in Terrasave to help people. It is awesome that the Resident Evil 2 remake came, so the new generation of players can know more about this beautiful character of the RE universe.

Claire is special. Not only one of the rarest female survivors, but also her role is Rescuer. The role that even her brother (Chris) or Leon could not follow. Leon stated her like that at 0:32 in RE Degeneration. Most of RE playable characters are Fighter ( Jill, Chris, Leon, Ada, etc ), but Claire is different.

Miss Amy She gives some variation to the cast. Jill is just another BSAA person in the mix. Far from as interesting personality. Claire also had RE2 Code Veronica Survivor 2 and Revelations 2 as her own games. So telling me she isn't important just shows how big of a casual fan you are.

Reason- Her character died off though because she is a rescuer and not a fighter. Capcom made a mistake in not turning Claire into a fighter.
