Just wanted to say that I was in a hospital bed for a month in 2001 from chemo kicking my ass, all my muscles atrophied and to therapy them, they gave me resistance bands. And I can say that I at least have the ability to walk again today, and no real muscular issues to speak of. They work, and I just bought another set to actually work out with
fat shaming is a horrible way of inspiring someone to lose fat tbh you should never hate your body and losing weight wouldnt make you feel about it either
Same, my mom fat shames me as well(ironically she's extremely overweight) and whenever she does, i either binge eat out of stress or starve myself for a few days.
I used to drink soda all the goddamn time and didn't do much moving around. I ended up replacing about 90% of my fluids with water and started walking a mile a day. I'm at two miles now and I'm already seeing progress after about a month and a half. I was very much inspired by the various fitness and mental health videos on the channel, and by the isolation of covid in general. Wanted to get more comfortable with myself physically and mentally. Much appreciate the videos, dude.
I actually lost tons of weight over the pandemic, and the weight loss started when I began watching Vaush. Coincidence or do I just foretell the future 🧐
Vaush’s fitness talk inspired me to get some resistance bands. Ive been meaning to start working out again even if its just at home, and I have experience using resistance bands in physical therapy. Excited to start my sigma male chad transformation.
I used to struggle with an eating disorder. I have been trying so hard to find a way to lose weight in a healthy way. This is unironically some of the best advice I have gotten. Thanks Ian
Literally anything that involves pushing a weight away from you, pulling a weight towards you or squatting/ lunging will build muscle with enough repetition and weight. Weight lifting might seem mystifying, but it can be super simple. Good luck to anyway who wants to get started. It's not that complex or intimidating really.
If you're vegan, I highly recommend those vegan protein cookies, I forget the name rn but they're big bois and they fill you up while also being a nice treat, I can make one of those last for 2-4 days depending on how much I'll want in one sitting. Fig bars and dried fruit are also good and barnanas are good too just look for ones with no milk stuff in them. Also fruit in general are great, eat one 30 min before a meal and you'll crave less and have less of a blood sugar spike so you won't feel tired after
I was formerly military and ended up falling out very quick due to depression and issues regarding feeling alone and betrayed. It got bad enough that I could not focus on my classwork and military at the same time, fell out of both as a result. I ended my military career with an honorable discharge, but ever since then exercise has been an anathema to my existence. Having this video express ways to avoid burning out exercising was a great thing to see.
Your perspective changes as you lose weight. A “bad” day now vs. before is much better. Don’t let your definition of a “bad” day change so much you don’t enjoy life.
No joke, an avatar TLA meme is what inspired me to start working out during the pandemic. I was 220 at the start a little over 12 months ago, and now I’m 170!
I love the realistic fitness advice. Too many people view it as all or nothing. You're either gonna be a fitness model in the next 6 months or it's not worth it. Just be a slightly healthier individual for a year and you'll see massive improvements
I'm currently losing weight. I started my diet and exercise routine 9 days ago and am currently down 9 pounds. I can't wait till I get down to a healthy weight! I'm actually at a similar starting height and weight to your beginning vaush. I'm was starting from 273 at 6'.
Keep in mind weight can fluctuate by like 3kg I think or double that in pounds. You should measure yourself daily and graph it out to get a more accurate picture of how your weight loss is going :)
@@scoutbane1651 I've been doing that. I record my weight at the beginning of the day after I wake up before I eat, drink, or exercise for the day since everything would be digested from the day before at that point. That way I don't have to try and think about how much of the weight is purely food from what I ate earlier in the day.
@@scoutbane1651 I do thank you for the info though. Before I started it was something I only just found out like a day before. I was surprised at the rate in which I've been losing it at a pound a day so far. I don't expect it to be that much forever but ideally I would like to try and keep it to as close to that as possible
I'm a personal trainer and I love watching your fitness journey! Great fitness segment. If it's not fun you won't succeed is 100% good advice for people starting out. Edit also when looking for protein bars keep a close eye on the protein to sugar and salt ratios! There's some delicious ones that make you feel like you're making the right choices but are fullllllll of sugar so aren't ideal
It's honestly nice to get advice from someone who was fat because I gained a bunch of weight in 2019 due to a depressive episode (plus a nice auto immune disease that makes me gain weight no matter what I eat). I've lost 20 pounds, but it took me a year and a half and I'm still about 40lb from my goal. I used to be thicc, which I loved about myself, but now I'm just a blob who's struggling to run after the kids I give therapy to. I hate it, and I want to make a change. This video is awesome, Vaush.
In my experience, the biggest thing that helped me loose weight was to prioritize food that makes you feel full. So like on one side of the spectrum soda is the worst shit ever because it has calories but does absolutely nothing to curb hunger, and on the other end of the spectrum celery is amazing because you eat like 20 calories of celery and you feel full for a few hours. Now obviously you don't just have to eat celery, but try to allocate your calories as much as possible to the things that will prevent you from slipping up. For me that means way more fiber and way less simple carbs.
I completely agree. Simple carbs (like pasta and bread) are going to go right through you and you’ll be hungry again faster. Find things that make you feel full and stay full for a while.
'Have fun' is the best advice. My advice is to get a friend. In the past, I would go to the gym regulary with a friend. Him being there pushed me to not be lazy. Once my friend stopped going, I lost most of my motivation, I started to do less excersise per spot. I left earlier. Eventually I just stopped going.
I started taking medication and getting my mental health back on track this time last year. I wasnt even trying to lose weight but ive lost 55lbs just as a result of me being happier, more productive, and normalizing my brain chemicals. To anyone out there struggling with body image / weight loss, just remember that a healthy mind _really is_ a healthy body, dont focus on being fat or skinny, focus on making yourself feel good inside. You have energy and motivation when your body is being nourished properly and when you are doing things you love. What is and isnt healthy is wildly different for everyone, it takes time to figure out what works best for you, just stick with it and experiment if you need too. Always keep in mind that skinny and fat do not = healthy and unhealthy. All those hyper thin models on tv are often times having to starve themselves to look that way. Beauty standards are harmful and often wildly unattainable. You will just hate yourself more if you try to achieve "the perfect body". Instead, try to achieve a _you_ that feels productive and ready to take on life both mentally and physically.
This is all good advice Vaush but I have watched my mom struggle with overeating her whole life. For many people, it's as bad of addiction as alcoholism but they say it's worse because you have to eat. You're so right about everything you say here but I would add real addicts need to get involved with a support group and manage what causes cravings. I highly recommend Brightline Eating, it's the only one I've seen have long-term results for my mother. If you're a chronic overeater you should cut bread completely out of your diet for instance because it turns to sugar in your stomach and causes cravings later.
The 6'2" is pretty sweet isn't it. Taller than the majority yet can still fit in most clothes I got down to 230 just with intermittent fasting. Keep sculpting comrade
Quick explanation of good vs bad pain: Good pain is often referred to as the 'burn,' the slow building ache/tiredness in your muscles Bad pain is sharp, and often in your joints When you feel bad pain, it means you have done something in exercise wrong, and you need to stop. If the pain persists after you stop the exercise, do not continue your exercise for the day, and see a doctor if you are able to. If that bad pain stops when you stop, you could probably move on to a different type of exercise (so an arm exercise if you were doing legs), and see if a doctor if you are able to. The small loss of not completing your set is nothing compared with the loss of days, weeks, or months of rehabilitation
man vaush i just wanna let you know, watching this video a while ago really encouraged me to get back into exercising and i started lifting pretty soon after as a result and it has become a huge part of my lifestyle ever since. I was able to glean a lot of really good advice from this segment when I was first starting out and I appreciate that immensely. im now benching 225 for 3 reps and am absolutely YOLKED so thank u for providing that little initial push for me man :)
Congrats vaush, about 5 years ago I lost 50kg over 6 months and kept it if ever since so I know how good it feels to get it off (that's 110lbs in silly American)
My friends in the navy just use low weight for curls, dumbbell press and other exercises. They just use like 10-25 pound dumbbells and do insane amount of reps constantly switching exercises so there isn't much wasted time resting. They don't hurt themselves since its low weights so they can exercise every day and achieve really insane bodies.
@@apricotcat1542 Well technically you are resting with the strategy. Like if you go from curls to dumbbell press your biceps will be resting while you work on your chest.
Congrats!! I started working out almost every day a few weeks ago and feel amazing. It's great to get out stress or get the day started. No diet. Only gained weight which is muscle because I've also lost inches..!! So anyone that might feel discouraged by weight gain keep in mind muscle is heavier than fat! And when you work out all the time you're more in tune with ur body and what it needs so you'll eat what you need. Just have to make regular exercise... Well, regular!! 💜 Self love! Personally a gym membership was a great investment for me as the atmosphere and machines and air conditioning are worth it. Just makes things easy!
Muscle is not heavier than fat. 5 lbs is 5l bs. I think you are thinking of density: muscle is denser than fat, so the same weight takes up less space. Google "5 lbs muscle vs fat" for a good visual representation.
For those who are already fit (and natural), keep in mind that getting below 12% bodyfat is not necessary for strength or endurance, unless you only care about aesthetics. Don't torture yourself. A muscular man/woman with a bit of fluff and fullness is very attractive to me personally, much more so than someone with ab veins or shoulder striations.
lmao i used to have a whole hip/ass/upper leg workout i'd do a few times a week. It worked but everyone looked at me weird since i'd put a weigh on top of my hips to raise it up with my legs only while laying on my back, thrusting back and forth lmao
You quickly learn when diving into serious fitness that the fight club Brad Pitt isn't realistic. That body is mostly achieved from having such a low body fat percentage that you just don't feel good.
I agree with most of this, but I’d also recommend getting a kettlebell if you can. Kettlebell swings are amazing for conditioning and moderate hypertrophy.
^THIS^ They're on the cheap side at the lower weights, like 20 to 25 lbs for men, 12 to 16 lbs for women. Or you can make it yourself for cheap. Lebe Stark & Mark Wildman have great kettlebell videos.
this is actually simple and effective advice. I lost 104lbs doing basically everything he just said. I did use an app to measure calories for about a month. That gave me an idea of how many calories everything I was eating on daily basis had then I stopped using it. No soda, I was walking for about 45-1hr a day and I would workout for about 30min 3-4 days a week. Never went to a gym. never used weights. I did have some of them bands Vaush mentions but mostly it was body weight workouts. I will say as Vaush mentioned you can't overthink it. It's OK to eat out every once in a while, don't take it too seriously. I know that is easier said than done. I will admit I eventually did gain weight. It started happening when this pandemic started. I think it was the fact that I was home all the time, couldnt go anywhere so depression just got to me and just didn't want to do anything anymore. Nothing to do with the advice health advise Vaush is speaking of. It definitely is a mind game though. Getting mentally health is a big part of getting physically healthy. It took me 2years to loose that much weight. I think I gained 20lbs since the pandemic started which sucks but overall I still feel healthier than I did when I weight 104lbs more.
Just came from watching obeasetobeast (guy qho lost 180 lb ish) video explaining his own escape from the alt right and in it he mentions vaush. Fitting the next vaush video I see talks about his own weight loss.
@@nessie7306 yeah the video is about 7 months old. He mentions vaush amd destiny. It's the one titled "let's talk.. religion and politics" or something close to that.
I’ve done the same thing where I round the calories in the food I eat and I lost almost 30 pounds in a few months, it works well and doesn’t make me feel like I’m starving myself
I'm in no way an expert source, but I can at least anecdotally confirm the "avoid burnout" side of things. I've had a shockingly easy time slimming down a few years ago and all I really did was simply eat better, focusing on healthier but filling foods without punishing myself for small moments of cheating. For people who drink a lot of coffee with milk, sometimes cutting out that milk can be a very wise idea as well.
there's a guy on youtube called jeff nippard who does pretty good videos on fitness and stuff, and unlike most of the other fitness channels I've seen he actually cites studies and does research and stuff which is really cool
eat below your TDEE, NOT YOUR BMR. your BMR is how many calories your body needs to do basic functions at rest, and if you eat below that you are essentially starving yourself. other than that small caveat, this is all great advice.
im kind of backsliding right now but my weight loss method was intermittent fasting (and trying to keep below a certain amount of calories) plus actually exercising on the reg for the first time ever in my life. i lost about 80lbs but that isn't that hard when you were already about 340lbs. my diet is still not great but ive managed to keep up the exercise. its just weights and stationary bike but it seems to help; even though i still have a gut i look much better in a t-shirt now, and great 'face gains'. could still stand to lose more weight but all my numbers (particularly cholesterol and blood sugar) have been good for several years now.
When it comes to fun try to find a sport or team activity you enjoy. E.g volley ball, or frisbee golf or climbing clubs Eg I joined a bjj gym and ive never looked forward to working out more in my life i cant get enough of it. And the exercise just takes care of itself.
Congratulations 🎊. I was 245lb and now im 159lb I actually an starting to have abs. I first did a carnavore diet from my hunting and fishing and raising my own beef and chicken. Now I do keto
I've lost around 10 kilos by just removing a meal from my day. I just don't have dinner anymore, and eat a bit less. I still eat everything (I made pizza yesterday, and ate the whole pizza alone), sweets, meats, I even drink soda (Coke zero mostly) or other sweet drinks. Just lowering calorie intake under calorie use will almost always result in some weight loss. For exercise, the best way to get into it is through something you will enjoy. I rollerblade a lot, and if I flex my leg muscles you can see the bulge out, I also have a dumpy from rollerblading. So try and walk, run, bike, rollerblade when going longer distances (I rollerbladed around 40 kilometers in 5 days while volunteering). Rollerblading basically works put your whole lower body, and your core muscles at the same time. It's also better for your joints than running or walking. Try doing archery if you're into that sort of thing. You can do it with friends, just get some balloons, water bottles, cans and go to a range. If you own a bow, you can do reps without an arrow in your bedroom (i do several series when I wake up, takes like 10 or 15 minutes). It will be a lot more fun than just doing those exercises without shooting anything. It's like Vaush's calisthenics, but for a certain muscle group (your drawing arm, plus almost your whole back). Just find something you like and use it to exercise, that's how you'll prevent yourself from burning out.
I'm also in the middle of my post-COVID weightloss journey, but I'm 40 and 6'2". I started at 275 in February and am currently down to 235. It's 90% diet. My biggest problem was doing nothing and drinking 2 or 3 glasses of soda at every meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The first thing I did was just track calories and portions for a week just to get a better idea of what an actual portion looks like. Cut regular sodas and stick to diet/zero or just water. And then just gradually started walking every day until I could walk 10,000 steps in a single outing once a day. Aside from that, I just do pushups and planking to failure whenever I have some free time and that's it. Figure once I get to my goal (200), I'll worry about actual exercises/weight lifting.
13:33 Funnily enough, Yoga is (or can be) incredibly demanding of your body when it comes to balance, endurance and also strength. I know the clichée Yoga mom does very easy looking hip openers but damn the more advanced stuff can really kick your ass. Definitely recommended for anyone who doesn't move too much and experiences fatigue in their back (or any other bodypart for that matter).
Another really quick, and free, exercise plan is this set of multifunctional exercises (MFEs) 10 body weight squats 10 situps/crunches 10 push-ups 10 leg lifts/bicycle kicks 10 jumping jacks It hits every major muscle group, is easy to do, and works as a great warm up for more intense exercises. And it scales pretty easily; just do more or fewer.
not really, jumping jacks aren't a good calisthenics exercise, its a calorie burning one yes but it won't build muscle AT ALL. Situps and crunches? they work for like one day, but most people can do them for a long duration so it's kinda a low intensity exercise which also won't build any muscle, not to mention you can't spot reduce fat so essentially situps and crunches become useless after a day of doing them
Thanks vowsh. I’ve always been scrawny but I’ve been thinking about working out a lot lately. This video pushed me to the first step of buying resistance bands and a pull up bar. I’m excited to see how it goes!
Blows my mind how little people know about basic fitness. This is why fitness classes in school is important, obviously strict on being accepting of all body types and abilities. But just teaching good form and what you can achieve. Also the thinking abs are supposed to be perfect and symmetrical lmao very few people have symmetrical abs
And of the people who do have defined abs, some of them have the kind that are slanted, kind of like the abs a kangaroo or quadruped have, and you aren't as likely to win bikini or bodybuilding contests with that, but if you have that you can't help it because it's purely genetic - and it's not like hair or eyes, you can't just hide the trait or anything (though the Greeks probably did with their muscle armor, and we know that's not real).
@@lsmmoore1 and since it's genetic and merely tendons, you cant just workout enough to get an 8 pack unless you have that naturally You got the "my eyes change colors when my emotions change" people and the "You can work out to get a 12 pack" bros
I've lost 35lbs since June, mostly by cutting sugar and snacks like chips and stuff, and eating smaller portions. I feel really pressured to start exercising but I've never been good with exercise and I'm kinda afraid it'd be kind of a wreck.
Weight lifting is the fastest method but hard to mentally maintain. The only time I've had abs & had fun working out was when I was in a dance group. I could literally see every week my moves improve.
I feel like Vaush is perfectly primed for body decomposition - it looks he did do some level of body recomp which is expected since he worked out but yeah - more protein maybe? I’m starting a body recomp journey myself :) (currently doing a tiny calorie deficit + 200 g of protein + a push/pull/leg routine, the key to the diet is to eat what I have been eating but swapping out sugar for artificial sweeteners, bread for protein bread, etc) My #1 tip for going to the gym is to have a friend to go with!
Immediately stop drinking sugary crap. No sodas, especially diet sodas. Empty calories and it makes you eat more. It took a few weeks but my appetite dropped bigtime.
Why especially diet sodas if there are no calories? I've found them to be a decent alternative for a nice refreshment, although not a replacement for water.
I started working out with The Boys™️ twice a week just 2 weeks ago. Haven't seen any progress yet but I've been slowly growing from 250lbs to 280 now in the past few years, hoping to shed my gut
Hey man. Tbh just have fun, keep moving and tracking your bodyweight from time to time. Progress is made on the long run with training & eating regimens that are sustainable and you can have fun with. If you want excellent fitness advice I would recommend Barbell Medicine yt channel. Keep it up!
My protein bar recommendation is the cookies and cream flavor of MET-RX (pronounced "metrics"). They were super cheap where I used to live, and they have like 32g of protein in a bar. Very good food, especially if you're late for work and can't eat a proper meal.
my weight fluctuates all the time because I can't get my diets straight. Really hard when your mom has a sweet tooth and so do you, so our fridge is stacked with tons of snacks and sweets. Somehow still undeterred and hoping to get to that 20 bmi zone
I LOVE hybrid calisthenics. He's remarkably chill and kind, and does some videos showing you how to work up to push-ups, sit ups and other exercises so you don't burn yourself out.
I'm afab and I was working out for like 6 months consistently last year, 1-2 hours a day 5 days a week (4 sets of 4 different weight and strength exercises) . I was increasing the weights I was lifting and all that, but at the end of it all I felt like I had made no progress. I was doing proper form, switching between leg day, arm day, torso day, etc, eating extra protien. It really depresses me. Idk what what to do to increase strength and muscle. Ever since then I haven't even attempted to exercise. Sometimes I feel like I'm just biologically incapable of gaining muscle unless I dedicate way more time than I'm willing to spend to it and it makes me so depressed.
Sometimes your diet can play apart in that. You’ll notice for muscle gain the dietary and protein needs you should focus on will be different from just generally trying to lose weight. Please don’t give up hope : (
A bit late but thank you so much for this. I ordered some bands right after watching, and they were hands one of the best purchases I've made this year!
Then you’d become a lot dumber. He claimed the guy at 18% body fat was 12% body fat. He has no idea what he’s taking about outside common sense which is burn more calories than you take in. That’s the extent of his “fitness knowledge”
Best advice I ever heard for learning a habbit of exercise, was to start making small habbits. Instead of 'I'll run 5k every day', go for 'I'll put on my running shoes and walk 5 minutes every day'. Starting is always the hard part, so if you condition yourself into always putting on your running shoes and going out, then deciding whether to run 1k or 5k, you'll learn an easy tohold habit.
18:15 because the way to exercice those muscles with weights it's different to bands. most "ass" exercices also hit the hips. Most ass exercices do really: hip thrusts, leg kickbacks, bulgarian squats, squats, reverse lunge,... all hit your ass and hips (the last 3 are actually leg exercices that hit your ass hard too)

Fat shaming is usually pretty effective

fat shaming is a horrible way of inspiring someone to lose fat tbh you should never hate your body and losing weight wouldnt make you feel about it either
@@slime8177 fat shaming works on men but not women
Sugar is literally poison.
Just cutting the junk food will slam one's bmi under 30 pretty fast.

I actually lost tons of weight over the pandemic, and the weight loss started when I began watching Vaush. Coincidence or do I just foretell the future 🧐
Vowsh is the weight-loss solution
Just gotta say 45 lbs, that's awesome. Totally enjoying the vaush pit
Also fruit in general are great, eat one 30 min before a meal and you'll crave less and have less of a blood sugar spike so you won't feel tired after
Are you talking about those Lenny and Larry complete cookies?
I think they're Lenny and larrys!!! Really good
L&Ls have a pretty shitty protein-to-calorie ratio, there are way better vegan protein options.
Everyone uses pea protein in their vegan "fitness" baking and it tastes like absolute shit.
Lenny and Larry's were sued a few years back, because their stated protein content were completely wrong. Your other advice is good though
As a fellow person into fitness, I love this segment and that he is promoting health to his audience in such a wholesome and easygoing way ☺️
Your perspective changes as you lose weight. A “bad” day now vs. before is much better. Don’t let your definition of a “bad” day change so much you don’t enjoy life.

@@Millsville22 Yes good job that's the way to do it! Usually people don't which is why I was tryinna give helpful advice lol

Way to go Vaush!! I've steadily been losing weight over the last 11 years and it feels great to see how far I've come. Keep up the good work!
The resistance band looks like something I’d fidget with, I’m now tempted to buy.
Fidget in wide enough motions and suddenly you've got biceps
Vaush is gonna be like Hasan with a bigger head
Vaush talking about eating 8000 calories and 7 meals a day meanwhile I gain weight if the one meal I have every day is too big (over 1k calories).
Should say my whole life not her whole life lol

Keep sculpting comrade
he is 6 foot max nowhere near 6 foot 2.
Why are we so weak?
"Our calories go to our brains"
It's so simple it seems inaccurate.
Good explanation though
Quick explanation of good vs bad pain:
Good pain is often referred to as the 'burn,' the slow building ache/tiredness in your muscles
Bad pain is sharp, and often in your joints
When you feel bad pain, it means you have done something in exercise wrong, and you need to stop.
All this exercise stuff is actually helping me motivate myself. Thanks Vaush

Rest time isn't time wasted!!! I don't recommend not resting unless you have been working up to it
@@apricotcat1542 Well technically you are resting with the strategy.

@@BoboftheOldeWays thank you for clarifying! But I believe the point is the same even though I explained it wrong 😅
For those who are already fit (and natural), keep in mind that getting below 12% bodyfat is not necessary for strength or endurance, unless you only care about aesthetics. Don't torture yourself. A muscular man/woman with a bit of fluff and fullness is very attractive to me personally, much more so than someone with ab veins or shoulder striations.

this is actually simple and effective advice.

I wouldn't even stress about the gym until you get your eating on track.
At that point you should feel better and more motivated to be at the gym
Couldn’t agree more - a good diet with moderate (non-gym) activity is so much healthier than grueling workouts with a bad diet
There is absolutely no reason to put off starting exercise, and framing things as a choice between the two does not reflect the typical experience.
there's a guy on youtube called jeff nippard who does pretty good videos on fitness and stuff, and unlike most of the other fitness channels I've seen he actually cites studies and does research and stuff which is really cool

Quest cookies and bars are excellent, mainly cuz they have erythritol instead of actual sugar (way better for blood sugr)

The only reason I clicked is to see vaush flex
eat below your TDEE, NOT YOUR BMR. your BMR is how many calories your body needs to do basic functions at rest, and if you eat below that you are essentially starving yourself. other than that small caveat, this is all great advice.
im kind of backsliding right now but my weight loss method was intermittent fasting (and trying to keep below a certain amount of calories) plus actually exercising on the reg for the first time ever in my life. i lost about 80lbs but that isn't that hard when you were already about 340lbs.
my diet is still not great but ive managed to keep up the exercise. its just weights and stationary bike but it seems to help; even though i still have a gut i look much better in a t-shirt now, and great 'face gains'. could still stand to lose more weight but all my numbers (particularly cholesterol and blood sugar) have been good for several years now.
Fuck yeah! Progress can present itself in many ways. It sounds as though these good habits are getting easier. :) keep going
I like playing Beat Saber. It's more of an aerobic exercise but it's super fun.
Hell yeah. I used to play rhythm games (Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove etc.) a lot and it's definitely a great exercise, and very fun too.
I’m 6’2” just lost 45 lbs over a year and am now at 173 and just started to get visible abs - also large framed
When it comes to fun try to find a sport or team activity you enjoy. E.g volley ball, or frisbee golf or climbing clubs
Eg I joined a bjj gym and ive never looked forward to working out more in my life i cant get enough of it.
Another really quick, and free, exercise plan is this set of multifunctional exercises (MFEs)
10 body weight squats
10 situps/crunches
10 push-ups
10 leg lifts/bicycle kicks
10 jumping jacks
It hits every major muscle group, is easy to do, and works as a great warm up for more intense exercises.
@@lsmmoore1 and since it's genetic and merely tendons, you cant just workout enough to get an 8 pack unless you have that naturally

Most ass exercices do really: hip thrusts, leg kickbacks, bulgarian squats, squats, reverse lunge,... all hit your ass and hips (the last 3 are actually leg exercices that hit your ass hard too)
Your hip is a bone lmao
I actually took your advice and ended up loosing 40 pounds myself
