I met Andy McCoy in the 90s in a bar near the Helsinki railway station. I went to speak to him and 2 of his body guards did their job. He told them it was ok and I sat and spoke with him for a while. I told him I was from Scotland and my had met my girlfriend there. He was one of the nicest and coolest people I have ever met. All the best to you Andy.

Andy on kyllä liian aliarvostettu elävä legenda. Siitä kun luki niin vasta tajusi kuina kova jäbä kyseessä. Toisaalta hänen oma toimintansa tekee sen ettei ole otsikoissa (se ettei kaikkeen tosi tv paskaan lähde mukaan)mutta sellainen legenda kyseessä että ei ole tarviskaan kaikken mennä mukaan. Täytyy sanoa että kannattaa lukea tästä herrasta niin ymmärtää todella paljon paremmin.

Catchy as always from McCoy, I think he has always had infallible sense of good melodies.
Well he did all the hanoi's songs. Others of the band were just freeriders when Andy was the real artist painting those pictures, and he paid big price for that

This song has some hints of the old Hanoi Rocks era Andy genius. Same goes for several other songs on the recent solo album. You can't say the same for the Hanoi comeback era albums thouugh. Seems Andy saved his best ideas for projects like this one. Can you imagined how Andy's last album, 21th Century Rocks would have sounded with Michael singing on it?
