1. Water lettuce
This is a worlds most popular floating pond plant.
It grows floating on the surface water.
Its leaves form a rosette, with dense, submerged roots beneath it. They can be very challenging to grow in the home aquarium. But grows well in outdoor pond.
2. Salvinia minima
It is a floating fern that grows on the surface of the water. They are most popular in aquarium hobby due to their fast growth.
These root-like projections are not true roots, they are actually modified leaves.
3. Duckweed
