This video rules. The only feature I didn't know about was the drag and drop feature for stems. But apart from that, I the Chord track for all it's features and the ARA integration for Melodyne to midi are the biggest reasons why I fell in love with Studio One. My top/top favorite feature is the "Fill with Notes" in a midi track. You can lock it into a key, or have it follow the chord track (or both!), And you've just found your self a customized, one of a kind midi loop to use as a launching pad. I actually go between Studio one and Bitwig, as Bitwig has features I'm madly in love with. But I find it's more about vibe. They provide different features to generate different sorts of musical feels. So it's not a "one is better than the other" Even though Bitwig feels more like a massive custom Synth with an amazing Sequencer rather than a DAW
One cool tip: If you have a single computer screen and edit with melodyne, sometimes the blobs display too down to the bottom, which unable to see. in such case, Just click on the melodyne assigned clip once in S1 edit page, you will see all the blobs on top.
I'm using OBS to record my screen and webcam! I'm currently using a new camera just recently! But I'm still using OBS to capture my screen! The hardware is pretty simple! I'm using an Audient iD14 into my Windows PC and in this video I'm using an SM58 as my main mic. Recently I've been using my Presonus PD-70. Both mics are great haha
studio one is like tharnos, sooo many usefull tricks ,I have my own tricks but seeing this has grown me in engineering music years ahead, just in seven minutes, these features arent in any other daw,
im sorry im really new to production. on the fourth trick when you refer to the transients are you saying if a note is slightly off tempo it will put it in time on the grid?
@@ProducingInTheBox So, I can do your trick #2? Also, can I trigger my drums out of say: EZ Drums, to Studio One Artist, all in one track or even separated... to master all along with overhead mics.? I'm just trying to see if for what I'll be doing is enough with Artist or need to save $300 extra..🤔

Awesome video. Now I love S1 even more. You got yourself new subscriber.
Thank you!!! I’m so glad you like my content!
I wish there was a way to bouce out like you did but also change the bit depth or a way to set it to export at 24 while still working in 32
Me too. Still better than exporting the old way IMO
@@ProducingInTheBox I agree
I never knew you could use your voice to make an instrument with Studio One
Isn’t it so cool? I love it haha
That was definitely a sweet trick
Wow ,your session sounds amazing, can you give some tips on how mixing metal guitars or on producing metal in general?
Thanks a lot
Absolutely! Be on the lookout for it!
@@ProducingInTheBox can’t wait 😝
This video's great!! Thanks
When converting audio into midi (trick 2) can also be done with an electric guitar or bass sample?
Yup! I just posted a video on my channel yesterday, talking about all the ways you can do that!
Can you please tell me, wich set of software and hardware you are using for your video audio recordings for your blogs?

Good stuff, thank you! Which drums are you using?
GGD Modern and Massive and I’m blending some other samples in from the Splice Travis Barker kit (I think haha)

Good Stuff! Thanks again!
Of course! Keep making great music 😎🤌
How do you get those multi colored midi?
Studio one has a section in the midi editor for “midi color”! It’s super handy for locating notes or velocities!
I like it a lot... Bravo mate
Ayyyyy thank you! I appreciate it!
thanks !
Of course 🤌🤌🤌
Is hard to know here in UA-cam if a video talks about the Studio One Artist or Professional, no one clarifies that. Which one is this video about?
Professional! I always use Studio One Professional but the similarities between the versions is so close, sometimes it doesn’t really matter!

🤨 So many features learn 🤯 WOW 😲
I know about the voice part into instrument but the other thing SMH 😲
很难不爱这些功能
I'm a power user
AYYYYY I love it! How long have you been using Studio One?
@@ProducingInTheBox For 7 years. Since version 2.6.5 back in 2015
@@skipnobeet8765 that’s amazing! I was using Logic Pro X back then!
@@ProducingInTheBox Yeah Logic was dope back when I used to use it a little. I came from Reason though.
Me too. I've been using it since 2019
magic word: studio one
It is good features but ...I prefer to play my part 🎧🎸🍾👋🎇,
