Megatron in his prime was unstoppable. I think he still has the record for consecutive 100 yard games. My favorite wr to watch ever. Younger generation needs to watch his tape. He ran like Justin Jefferson but taller, longer, and massive hands. His catch radius was the best of all wrs. Throw it up and he can catch it. Staffords stats are largely from megatron.
Sterling Sharpe was the truth. The newer generation missed out on something special. He was special with and without Farve. Unfortunately that neck injury did him in.. A legend in his own right...
Randy Moss, in my opinion, is one of the greatest WRs to ever play the game. In terms of ability and talent, I'd take him over Rice. Moss's speed, jumping ability, and catching made him the ultimate deep threat. Anytime he went deep and that ball got bombed, everyone held their breath.
Ocho is absolutely right. Jerry Rice is great but Randy and T.O, more specifically Randy took receiving to a different stratosphere. The boy was a beast. He was a nightmare for CBs
Notice the question was about whether he got the credit he deserved as a player. But instead of talking about himself he shifts the conversation to the people that he thinks are the all time greats and that he thinks are deserving of praise. Without adding his own name in that conversation. That is some true humility. I think Jerry Rice over time had the best career. Moss was the most gifted in an athletic sense. But TO running over the middle while being a huge target, and doing EVERYTHING in an era where doing so was punished in a way that is literally illegal now. To me what TO did felt extraordinary. He is the one I looked at and thought to myself, this thing I am witnessing is truly out of this world. And the NFL Hall of Fame will forever be diminished to me for not making him a first ballot hall of famer due to politics.
As a lifelong 9er fan, I'm glad I witnessed about 95% of Jerry's TD's, and it's safe to say I'll NEVER WITNESS another player cross the END ZONE that many times in my life, partly cuz no 1 player will physically get THERE 😉💯
Chad was no joke in his era. That era especially in his division you'd be lucky to get out with an 8-8 record. Let alone alive. Steelers and Ravens the brutal beating within the division. Then you got the Colts and Patriots looking outside. And the Bengals were competitive at that!
Moss over T.O. Calvin Johnson over all, because he played on horrible Lions team and still put up high career stats (Barry Sanders over Emmit Smith but Bo Jackson over all). Then Jerry Rice, Moss, Anquan Bolden
Moss was something else man. At times, he was almost unstoppable. I've seen that man one hand a touchdown pass between three defenders like a routine play. Speed, size, leaping ability, and great hands.
I'm 100% Chinese and I've worked in a few successful Silicon Valley companies as a software engineer. If Chad Johnson specialized in engineering or software development, he would have been a great CEO or venture capitalist.
TO literally was the most all around complete receivers ever to play. He is#2 behind Jerry. Moss wasn't willing to cross the middle of the field, He quit on his team multiple times, and was NOT physical in any way period!!! Owen's was a straight DOG dude was a beast!!
Randy is definitely the greatest WR to ever play the game imo. What Steph Curry did for the 3 ball is what Moss did for the one hand and spectacular catch 🔥💯.
As a kid growing up in the early 2000s every kid wanted to be like moss or TO. The kids who caught the deep TDs said moss. The stronger receivers said TO. They were both legends in our eyes tho
Owens was great. But Moss was just a different maker and he strikes a fear to every defensive coordinator’s mind when he can kill you DEEP in any time. And his name became virtually Verb. Ppl don’t say DBs got Owensed but rather got Mossed when they were beaten badly in coverage. Last thing about Moss. Packers were so stunned and felt helpless after getting burned time after time in 1998, they drafted thee defensive backs in thirst three rounds. I don’t recall Rams Saints Falcons drafted specific players just to stop one guy in their division.
Jerry was a great receiver but whats amazing is a running back like Emmitt Smith with 175 touchdowns and 18 thousand yards in the trenches that is amazing
I agree, Jerry Rice is in his own class cuz NOBODY is get close to 22,000 yards OR 197 Tds. That’s monster. Besides that, personally T.O. Was my favorite but I would say that Moss is #1 and then T.O. Is 2nd cuz the Freak was just unstoppable on every level and graceful. I’d put prime Chad Johnson very high probably even top 5 as far as talent goes
What do you want? You want straight talent? It’s Moss You want a dominant physical WR? TO You want a consistent producer? It’s Jerry They all come at a cost: Randy is flashy but he’ll coast on his natural abilities TO is physical but he’s volatile Jerry will produce but he’s boring.
Jerry is the most accomplished receiver ever… No debate… But I’m taking Randy over him & with the same skill position players, offense & QB, I think TO could’ve replicated what he did…
T.O. and it's not even close..... But Fitzgerald should be ahead of them both because he played the majority of his career with 3rd and 4th string backups. Michael Irvin, Marvin Harrison, Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith and Cris Carter should all be ahead of Randy because the only route he could run was the GO route, he didn't block for his teammates and he even admitted to taking plays off. That type of work doesn't put you in the top 3.
The best pure wr ever was Calvin Johnson and it’s not close. I’m not saying he’s the greatest bc he doesn’t have the legacy but if I have to pick 1 wr for 1 game or 1 season I’m going with megatron 100 out of 100 times

Sterling Sharpe Had Brett Favre and Megatron had Matt Stafford both elite QB wtf you talking about lol
Randy was a Freak of nature, even Jerry saying so with his Speed and Hands.
Man rice is goat cuzz of his love and hard work.. but moss is the most feared and dangerous and talent of all time period
Ocho is absolutely right. Jerry Rice is great but Randy and T.O, more specifically Randy took receiving to a different stratosphere. The boy was a beast. He was a nightmare for CBs
No offense, did you ever see Jerry Rice play?
Randy all day. No brainer
I got Randy #1 and if he played with Brady for most of his career it wouldn't even be a debate
Randy moss is the answer for me 6’4 4.1 in the 40 yard dash , 50 inch vert touchdown machine and he didn’t even take it seriously
words well spoken 85 , that's what you get from players not media
Randy Moss in ‘98 and ‘07 was on another level, I grew up watching Rice and I still say Moss!
Randy Moss came out of the gates better than T.O did his first few years but I think T.O stayed more consistent longer in my opinion 🤔
Ummmmm.... T.O. came out blazing too. Cmon now
@@PlayaflyJoe27It took Owens a few years to get going.
I’ll take Andre Johnson.
Chad Johnson has matured alot. You can tell
Randy Moss is the GOAT! T.O second.
Moss was a different animal in his prime best hands I ever seen
Ocho!!! Salute brother I'm taking Randy Moss in his prime All day ✌️✌️
As a lifelong 9er fan, I'm glad I witnessed about 95% of Jerry's TD's, and it's safe to say I'll NEVER WITNESS another player cross the END ZONE that many times in my life, partly cuz no 1 player will physically get THERE 😉💯
pure talent, randy. longevity and totality of career, jerry
Never one handed a ball with three guys on him.... Or show me
@maggiehill789 he did it against my dolphins when he played for the patriots. I think it was '07 season. I watched it live.
@@profitcs8506 2 guys bro 2 guys
I love moss as much as the next but there was not three guys there
I'm 100% Chinese and I've worked in a few successful Silicon Valley companies as a software engineer.
Facts he was complete receiver
I do think Chad doesn't get the respect he deserves
Randy is definitely the greatest WR to ever play the game imo. What Steph Curry did for the 3 ball is what Moss did for the one hand and spectacular catch 🔥💯.
*Jerry Rice’s* Record Is Like
*Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s* 👀
As a kid growing up in the early 2000s every kid wanted to be like moss or TO. The kids who caught the deep TDs said moss. The stronger receivers said TO. They were both legends in our eyes tho
Cap I wanted to be like Torry Holt
Unk that is a dope cardigan. Clean!
TO was a beast. Alot of people liked moss but TO was another level. He would catch it and run right thru you plus make insane catches
His hands were kinda sloppy

*Randy, HEALTHY, Happy Birthday❣*
I’m going with T.O the physical specimen
Owens all day.
Chad Johnson found the “Fountain of Youth” ⛲️ … bro doesn’t age 🙌🏾
T.O. is my favorite reciever of all time. The NFL 2k game with him on the cover is still legendary to me.
I still play that game today original rosters
1. Rice 2.Megatron 3. Moss 4.Owens 5.Marvin Harrison
Fight me
If I had to pick one, I’m going with Moss Ngl but you CANNOT go wrong with either one
T.O.!!!!
Debate is clickbait, but this was still a good segment lol
I'm Taking T.O. no disrespect too Moss
Yes sir
Why??🤔
We get it
Why? He played harder . Just wish he was a better teammate
I always say Randy Moss was the better reciever. Jerry Rice just had the better career.
I’d take Randy but I’m bias cause I think him and Tom together for years would have been better than any duo ever.
Calvin is elite but he doesn't seem difficult to cover at all. Vs a moss or TO, extremely difficult to cover
Whoa did u just 3 man coverage Calvin is easy to cover 😂😂😂
Jerry was a great receiver but whats amazing is a running back like Emmitt Smith with 175 touchdowns and 18 thousand yards in the trenches that is amazing
We love Emmitt but come on his O line was up there with the GOATS in the history of the game.
@@grahamjl766 Facts! Plus he had The Moose!!!
@@grahamjl766 and Jerry played with 3 different mvp QBs on a stacked offense ahead of it’s time.
@@travistucker4067 Jerry had Montana and young
Montana, Young, and then a MVP caliber Gannon.
“You gotta extra game TO “ 😂
It’s obvious Randy Moss was on another level
I want Calvin Johnson he was the best receiver from 09-16 height size and killer speed
Shannon called him TO at 1:17 😂
Now this I got to see.
Not including longevity stats and just taking pure peak performance, for me, I'm taking Moss.
I get tired of people forgetting Andre Johnson because he was quiet and played for the Texans
I respect T.O but Moss is who I’m taking over everyone in NFL history
If Chad was playing now he would b one of the most popular in the league
“Plus you got an extra game T.O.” Wrong dude buddy 😂
Jerry, Randy, TO, Megatron and Larry fitz are my top 5
What do you want?
You want straight talent?
It’s Moss
You want a dominant physical WR?
TO
You want a consistent producer?
It’s Jerry
They all come at a cost:
Randy is flashy but he’ll coast on his natural abilities
TO is physical but he’s volatile
Jerry will produce but he’s boring.
Megatron should be mentioned more often.
He couldn't play long enough too big
ABs numbers are better than Calvin's
@@maggiehill789 I'd still take Megatron over that mentally deranged moron.
Whenever your name becomes a verb, instant leverage over the others
Jerry is the most accomplished receiver ever… No debate… But I’m taking Randy over him & with the same skill position players, offense & QB, I think TO could’ve replicated what he did…
Number 85 is an amazing interview and i wonder if he shouldn't be on a major telecast as an analyst.....smooth and smart
The personalities betweeen Chad Johnson, Randy moss, and To were amazing
Another good convo would be Char vs Steve smith. I got 89 all day.
T.O. and it's not even close.....
Respect
Jerry is the definitive GOAT. We know this but Randy and TO are 2&3
Megatron was a good one too now retired early
The best pure wr ever was Calvin Johnson and it’s not close. I’m not saying he’s the greatest bc he doesn’t have the legacy but if I have to pick 1 wr for 1 game or 1 season I’m going with megatron 100 out of 100 times
