Isn’t it wild we live in a time where a problem between two people we have no connection to can be seen as news that affects us all? 😂😂😂
I mean it doesn’t affect us at all. We’re more like spectators of a beef. Like a school fight of two dudes yelling from separate sides of the room
@@j_the_don5160 it shouldn’t affect us. I’m pointing out how this is pushed as content we should indulge in… To your point like kids at school.
Its not! Its just killing time for most people until the clock out or background noise.
SAS removed Max from the show because Max garnered significant support from the African American audience on First Take. Terrell Owens made a point when he suggested that Max displayed a stronger commitment to advocating for black issues compared to SAS. Terrell wasn't implying that Max was black himself, but rather that Max seemed to actively champion and defend causes important to the black community, while SAS appeared to be more hesitant or neutral in his stance.
He can say what he wants.
I agree
SAS comes off as a TOM in my humble opinion
Kinda weird how T.O. somehow gets painted the same way as actual criminals, abusers, cheaters, etc. He had one of the greatest careers ever and gets treated like he belongs in prison or something. It's wild.
Exactly! I agree with you 💯, he wasn't involved with drug scandals, beating women, gambling, or anything like that.
@metalmacabre9991 exactly! Like all we ever saw was he was doing little antics ON THE FIELD. And never anything actually crazy.
He rubbed the wrong people the wrong way and they pretty much blackmailed him. Smh. He's just a confident guy just like Prime. It's wrong how they do people!
And he shoulda been first ballot HOF
Meanwhile Ray Lewis get praised
Thank you T. O. It’s nothing worse than being characterized wrongly. I personally know your pain.
On the football field, TO was one of the most must see WRs in his prime. He deserves the respect from media about his play and HOF greatness. We should leave it at that
Facts arguably the best to play da game!!
No elaborate. What's wrong with him off the field? He's never been arrested really. He hasn't done anything to affect anyone else so please explain yourself. What's so bad with TO off the field?
@@jordanford9320he hasn't done anything to affect anyone legally or medically. But his actions have definitely impacted multiple teams and teammates in a negative way.
@@jordanford9320What did he say that he needs to elaborate on?? He simply mentioned he was so great on the field that he should be treated as the HOF’er he is and nothing else. He didn’t insinuate he did anything negative off the field. Wtf got you so triggered bruh
@@udontknowdave2155I was lost too 😂😂😂
As someone who grew up watching TO it’s really great to see how he has grown a smart dude. I definitely miss judged. Him
Shout out Matt and Stack for giving T.O the platforn to defend himself 💯
Shout out to them for getting it first. You know TO’s in high demand to respond
Facts 💯
Gaye stuff
TO looks worse. He couldn't refute anything Stephen a said
“ he’s walking around like he’s an athlete “ I swear to god that’s how he feels. I say this all the time. He wanted to be an athlete but he couldn’t be 🤷🏾♂️
He said it too. 🤔
They should post the video of SA trying to throw a baseball. An embarrassment to all of mankind!
Doesn't matter if he feels that way or not. Instead of all the second-hand talk, they should either drop it or hammer it out as men, directly.
Both of their egos are bigger than the room they sit in.
"He's walking around like he's an athlete" LMAO
Sound like some haters. Mad cause Stephen got a bag. Y'all act like athletes are gods. Besides, he's already admitted that he wasn't good enough to be be a professional athlete. I can clearly see how bitter Terell is about Stephen becoming a Millionaire, when he's struggling to make ends meet. T.O. wearing cheap clothes in the interview.
@@dkewer How about you post a video of yourself throwing a baseball
Always loved A.I. and T.O. because they’re as real as real comes.
When I think of AI being real definitely comes to mind. When I think of TO it's one of the last things that come to my mind.
@@JayJay-wz8qdhe was never scared to speak his mind and be himself. He’s just a little crazy and a diva
@@Solznmid speaking your mind isn't the only thing you have to do to be real. Being real includes admitting to your own bullshit instead of attempting to spin everything to make it appear you're never at fault and it's everyone trying to get you. This dude blames teammates, coaches, front offices, media and anyone else in between.
Jay FR topic - Will You Remember , a 8 page essay is due after you listen about Jay being realer than yo favorite rapper!!
TO, and I mean this with all sincerity, looks like he could easily make a roster and score TDs. Dude is just a freak of nature. One of the GOATs. Period.
If he was on the goal line. Maybe within the ten yard line.. I think he could score once out of every 20 throws. Which is AMAZING at his age
He played arena a few years ago and could “barely” beat those guys.
And he couldn’t do 20 plays at full speed. He is 47
If he could run good routes where he could avoid massive hits, he’d definitely be a great help to most teams
too bad he's a dewsh who alienated every organization he played for
“Looks” like he could but you’d be surprised how fast a 40 yo would get exposed in the nfl, even a freak of nature like to. Once your gone for years and that muscle memory isn’t the same
T.O. still runs a 4.45 40 yd dash, at 50! Complete freak of nature
TO is the man. He’s always worn his heart on his sleeve and made a villain. He’s not a villain. He’s passionate, honest, and hard working. Of course this shit hits you in your soul and it’s fucked that SAS can yap on air about who and whatever he wants without responsibility.
Facts
You can't be that way if you're a black athlete. You're supposed to be Meek, timid, humble and grateful, Tom Brady and Aron Rodgers can be "passionate" boisterous, angry, etc
@@signas82 acting like, ray lewis, deion primetime sanders, terrell suggs, steve smith, jalen ramsey, jaire alexander, shannon sharpe himself, richard sherman and MANY more black athletes arent loved by the media and general public despite being loud and trash talkers. dont make it about race. also, ur examples were terrible considering general media hates rodgers. he has been getting trashed for years in the internet
Or accountability!
Matt is a very good Interviewer. Keep up the good work.
Terrell Owens, in my opinion, stands as one of the most dominant wide receivers in NFL history, right up there with the likes of Randy Moss (my favorite WR of all time) in terms of sheer talent and impact on the game.
Regardless of what the media might say about him, you can never take away the fact that T.O. was an absolute force on the field. Sure, there were moments like him disrespecting the Cowboys' star, which, as a Cowboys fan, I didn't like.
But beyond all that, T.O. has always been the guy who commanded respect and admiration for his incredible skills and dedication to the game. Cheers to one of the greatest wide receivers the NFL has ever seen!
They blackballed him so bad
No off the field issues during his playing career
@@Keviekev115 Most definitely!
It’s not an opinion it’s a fact

TO should have his own podcast. He is super entertaining and I’m sure he has some amazing stories from back in the day
All The Smoke came in clutch with this interview lol
I think Terrell has always got the raw deal in his career. Dude was great.
I still have and rock my Bengals T.O. jersey. He was a absolute monster on the field. Loved his game
I’ll always respect TO for his great career and for playing in that Super Bowl against the Patriots pretty much on one leg
SAS can't even throw a pitch but he gets paid to criticize athletes. 😂😂😂😂
Idk why people continue to try to downplay baseball. That’s gonna happen to a lot of people
Facts..
Never played professionally was a trash college player to add to your comment
Can u throw that pitch?
Glad they gave T.O. a platform to air his rebuttal to Steven A. Also appreciated how they stuck to the issues/facts.
One thing about what you think about T.O. he is BRUTALLY HONEST...even on his self.
FACTS!!!
Yk him?
Funny thing is TO would legit kill SAS if they ever threw hands which baffles me on how crazy SAS be talking..These dudes will hurt that man
I'm with T.O. on this one, and I'm glad Matt and SJ gave him a platform to speak on his behalf because we know damn well if he did this on ESPN, they would try and skew it any way they could to make him look bad. Also, anytime ESPN brings his name up, they always slander him for his attitude and how he treated some of his teammates but fail to acknowledge how great of a player he actually was. The way they speak about him, you'd think he's a convicted felon. I hope he never crosses paths with Malika Andrews. Only lord knows what false files she'd charge against him.
EVERY BROTHER NEEDS TO AVOID MALIKA...FO SHO
That’s really dope of Matt and Stack to give him a voice in all this 🙏🏼🙏🏼real g shit
Yup I totally agree with you bro. They gave him a platform to get his side out there. I should have known Stephen A wasn't being completely honest. Marcellus Wiley put it into perspective, then I jumped over here to see this, it's all making sense.
Always been a TO fan he been keepin it 100 with his fans and a hardworking GOAT
Stephen A is the truest definition of when Corn balls get money 🤦🏽♂️ it just makes them a louder corn ball.
He definitely a CORN mountain at this point.
Plus you give them a platform to speak on.....
How so. I’m curious
One thing we can all agree on about TO…he’s always honest to how he feels and his beliefs and he’s very protective of how he’s portrayed in the media. Often times it would be to his own detriment - but event he drive way work it was him try to control the narrative that he wasn’t sent home not wanting to train. He was trying to prove he wanted to train. He’s never going to let someone speak on him without responding.
TO doesn’t really take responsibility for his own actions. He threw Donovan mcnabb under the bus after Super Bowl. He started a rumor Jeff Garcia was gay. He’s never owned up to any of those things
@@spenser6353 you didn’t acknowledge anything I stated. So I won’t acknowledge anything you stated.
But my lone point was - TO stands true to what he believes and will always speak out when he feels slighted. Right or wrong - he’s going to speak up if he feels he’s being lied on.
@@qubie83 Im not a TO fan. He always hated on my guy Randy Moss.
@@spenser6353 which is fine. But nothing you said countered my points. You just made points irrelevant to mine. 🤷🏾♂️
Why does Stephan get so much credibility as a sports reporter when he never played Professional Sports?
Exactly!. There should be a requirement. Too many armchair athletes or should I say journalists who think they should be able to say anything they want about athletes and be taken with full credibility!. Jalen Rose is the one for them though. Also why don't they go after Mike Tyson or Jon Jones like this?.
The power of the media can destroy a person.... not only their character but life....
We love and respect Terrell
T.O. was one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, and I believe he was treated unfairly. He never got in trouble for any reason, and you didn't see him do the same crazy shit that Antonio Brown does. Sure, he was a bit over the top with some of his antics, but he was still a straight shooter regardless. That being said, I still crack up every time I play that one clip over with him telling Stephen A that Max seems blacker than him.

Thank you two for opening the opportunity to speak on this. It is unfortunate to have a black man speaking negative of another black man. This is unnecessary energy for Stephen A Smith to do that.
Taking aside his sports career and the fact that he has an overt personality, T.O has an authenticity to him that is hard to undermine, everyone has a motivation for why the say and do the things they do and most people try to hide what their agenda is, whether people like or agree with T.O, his manner of communicating has to be respected in a world where people and their values and opinions are increasingly beige and incoherent.
Stephen A has always been a grade A cornball to me. Seeing his true colors come out now just confirmed what I always felt

T.O spoke facts I always thought the same about Stephen A
He spoke nonsense and nothing he said was facts. He challenged sas blackness on national tv and than double downed on it years later by reposting it and saying facts. This is drama that he created by his own doing, and now playing like a victim.

I always been a huge T.O fan ever since he was with the 49ers.
As a average African American male, I literally despise when SAS claims to be so close to the “black community” or what he would label “the streets” because I personally feel like he says it to validate an opinion that most of the time we don’t share with him
Good evening, this is my first time watching. I must admit, these three gentlemen have Amazing energy together. I would love for them too work together on a regular.
Get him T.O.! What he said at 9:05 is what guys like Stepehen A. seem to miss. Somewhere along the line some of these "sports analysts" started intertwining their critique of athletes' performances with their disrespect of athletes; talking in a way they wouldn't have talked growing up around these guys.
They are jealous of professional athletes because they didn't make it. I believe ESPN saw a lane in how these wild fans disrespect athletes and felt it could connect if their analysts did the same for a shock jock type show.
Guys like Stephen A. and Skip who already had animosity to real athletes jumped at the chance. They went from sports journalists to "sports jesters". They started to view themselves as stars when their whole shtick is based on attaching themselves to athletes.
Stephen A. consistently disrespects people and justifies it by saying it's his job. But when anyone says something about him, he has to do his soliloquy acting like some fake Western outlaw.
T.O. IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ATHLETES TO EVER PLAY THE GAME OF FOOTBALL, I SALUTE YOU MY BROTHER, GOD BLESS YOU

This is 💯 biased but go off 😅
So all his beefs what did he lied about tell me one
TO is very interesting. Not only was he an absolute beast on the field. He can take the scrutiny and makes most out of his attention online. He really that dude
"He builds you up to tear you down." Exactly why LeBron nor KD ever gave conceited, backstabbing Stephen A. an interview, which I commend them for avoiding like the plague altogether. Ultimately, T.O. can confidently state he lived the plentiful dream as an athlete.
I feel you TOs
The sport world has been unfair to you
3:50 Facts. Everyone talking about how super human Aaron Rodgers is....... Ummm, I remember a certain WR getting horse collared in like week 12 and making it back for the Super Bowl against doctors wishes... And literally being the only player left standing in that Super Bowl....
But ESPN says what a terrible teammate TO is...... My guy risked his ability to walk normally for the rest of his life for his team....
“Max seems more blacker than you Stephen A” is still a wild thing to say 😂
Facts. That's what I've been saying and T.O is my guy. Never should have said that
Accurate tho
SAS had that coming. Maybe TO should not have compared the two men, but there needed to be a strong counter to the message that SAS was spreading, because Kap’s stance was principled (and SAS and the NFLs was about money).
It's not if you understand what was said during each segment that culminated in his response during the segment in question.
It's true lol
We need a full hour long inner-view of T.O.
and ask him some real questions all the way through so he can let loose and not feel like he's going too far on his own and can say he was just answering lol
My fav WR of All time ❤
Terrell it is good to see you and hear you speak to clarify your story.
I don't know why anybody messes with Stephen A. He is always looking out for himself before anyone else.
I'm real sad to hear that TO got cheated out of millions of dollars. I'd love to see him get a good paying coaching job in the NFL or college, so he can become financially secure again. Deion Sanders went to Jackson State, did a good job, then got hired by Colorado with a 5 year $29 million contract. If TO took over a college team as a coach I'd be rooting for them hard, because I want to see him win in life. After all, everybody loves a good comeback story.
The real victim in this situation is Max. Max caught so many strays and he just be chillin
TO blew the situation up more than it had to be. Now he's mad cuz Stephen a flamed him
@billycarter1798 it all started with Stephen A Smith..no one told him to go off on Max on the Joe Budden Podcast …TO spoke nothing but the truth..Stephen did Max wrong
@@Don_O. Max did a lot wrong. Certain segments he was clearly pandering hard for black issues to the point where it was obvious like the groups of whites at all the BLM protest. Agreeing that it was Ok for a basketball player in Kyrie Irvin to literally boycott his job because some random civilian got shot by the cops in the open world which literally has nothing to do with basketball. Its like he refused to go against any black topics ever. Shyt was ridiculously oblivious
I hate what happens to athletes and actors and anyone in the public eye, how a narrative can be created about them that has nothing to do with reality. No wonder so many famous people take their own lives. People don't realize that human beings are sensitive, that the amount of money that you make and the amount of fame that you have does not make you less of a person. I hate that we live in a culture where people love to see successful people fall, and they love a fight. Even if there's mostly bullshit behind the fight. They love seeing famous people hurt. Especially famous black people. It's a sickness. I love this show, and also some of the other shows like Knuckleheads, and all of the shows that the athletes run because of exactly what TO said. That they're not cut. I love that Derek Jeter started his thing allowing athletes to speak for themselves. The notion that athletes should just "shut up and dribble" is so prevalent. It's racist, it's jealousy, it's pure hatred. Much respect for giving TO a platform. And here's to a better world for all of us. We can only hope.
There has been this attack with certain athletes that seem to always supersede sports . TO is a prime example of it . They blackball this guy everywhere he goes
I love that he said if I see you, keep that same energy! Lol that basically means try me in person and see what happens 😂 Steven a smith is a clown
T.O is real period..and confident black man...good interview guys..😮
T.O a real dude. He use to come to 24hr gym and play basketball with us. Real cool and genuine guy. Humble
I believe two things are true: T.O. is an honest guy, who doesn't take accountability for his actions from time to time, and Stephen A's ego makes him unbearable to tolerate from time to time. They both are legends at their craft, and I hope this nonsense is squashed

Happy Stephen a’s success, but anyone with eyes knows he’s exactly who TO said he is.
Good for TO defending himself against an egomaniacal media personality. Stephen A. is definitely positioning himself for a fall if he doesn't chill tf out. He's really out here acting like ESPN won't let him go...incredible.
I just had a vision of Terrell Owens pancaking Stephen A. Smith like Jim Everett did Jim Rome. I would be on the floor lmao if that happened.
