IMO - Your best reaction to PB's to date. Note: It was Tommy who gave Finn the 'Tokyo' to give to Arthur. Tommy is no Angel, very manipulative, plus the scene with Arthur was one of the most intense I've seen (pun intended) , brilliant stuff ... and Alfie???? Well I'll leave it there. Find out for yourselves on this journey. 🤣
The Battle of Somme was the worst ever day for the British military, who suffered 57,000 casualties in the first day alone with 19,240 killed on the day. Over 420,000 casualties were from British empire. Truly dreadful stuff. Tommy and his family fought there and throughout the series the story shows the long lasting suffering and PSTD him and his family experienced. Tommy is ultimately a good man who suffered dreadfully and came home from the war very damaged. The story at points shows parts of his past and talks about his character pre-war.
Great Reaction: As someone said: Tom Hardy giving a masterclass in charismatic acting. Cillian Murphy giving a masterclass of subtle acting. Two of the greatest actors of their generation with loads of chemistry in a perfectly written show. You MUST promise to show, in full, any other Alfie "conversations". CLUE:They are GOLD :)
Can we please retire the phrase “Walk of Shame?” Call it the A.M. Strut or Morning After Stroll or something else less judgmental of women. I found you two a little bit late but I’m enjoying this rewatch with you. Peace …
Dont make the mistake of thinking Tommy is an Angel. He 100% will manipulate his family into doing what he wants, even if its bad for them. Like with the alcohol and cocaine Edit: cant imagine being molested bc of my family name and then someone telling me to show respect. Tf is wrong with people. Show some respect for the trauma Ada endured BC of the Shelby's. wtf.
I was thinking the exact same thing, like. The main reason why Ada was almost sexually abused was BECAUSE she's a Shelby. Of course she's gonna want nothing to do with that name, I completely understand her.
I always thought that too. Obviously I understand her but I always noticed slight hypocrisy. Like she complained about how the business was run and how it was unfair they had so much money while living in a rather nice house, wearing nice clothes and riding in cars. All payed for by the family company that only did so well because of Tommy.
There are two Irish factions. Those who aligned with the British crown and those who don't. The two who hired Tommy to kill the man in episode 1 are Irish who support the crown (Britain). Campbell is Irish and works for the crown.

It’s a tv show…. Calm the fuck down.
same to you mate@@PLC11
Except she was hypocritical using the name when she wanted its benefit. Can’t be part of a crime family and expect shit to be sweet.
No spoilers… you do not want Tommy in your family!
Bane vs scareCrow
Two Batman villains ❤️
I think the anger management therapists could earn a fortune from the Shelby s.

Loving the frequent uploads!
Tommy is not Irish, he's Gypsy.

4:45 it was also to enrage Campbell since he has some weird obsession with her
Alfie is INSANE, but HILARIOUS.
