He picked the fight with the lees on purpose the first season. It was all part of his plan to work with Billy Kimber. Everything he does is with reason.
Artur is fast, everytime someone shoot a bullet Arthur just come to clutch. The shot was meant for Tommy, Arthur tried to save Tommy but Grace came in the crossfire.
9:45 Arthur and Michael told Lizzie "No fraternising with outsiders, especially foreigners. Everyone has got to obey the rules while the business with the Russians is going on." The Russians are actually Georgians. Lizzie was dating Angel Changretta an Italian. Vicente Changretta is the leader of the Changretta's who wanted Danny Whizzbang dead, as he killed one of their relatives thinking the knife he was holding a bayonet. John clearly still loves Lizzie, which is why he went overboard and threatened Angel. Polly normally would have invited Ruben Oliver into her room at the wedding, but she was following the rule to not fraternise with outsiders.
3:34 It's Ralph Ineson (Dagmer Cleftjaw) from Game of Thrones. The last episode featured Richard Brake (Night King) and Alexander Siddig (Doran Martell) from Game of Thrones. Previous episodes featured Noah Taylor (Locke) from Game of Thrones. Four more people who played big name Game of Thrones characters will appear in future. And over 100 more Game of Thrones crew members worked on this too.
I love how you guys are ploughing through these episodes! I really look forward to these 😁 plus, I'm from Birmingham, so it's fun watching you guys try to mimmick the accent 😂
The bullet was meant for Tommy. It was the Italians; Mr. Changretta sent the assassin to shoot Tommy in retribution for his son Angel. At the hospital, Changretta was confirming that the assassin would arrive in Birmingham that Sunday.
Irish people do believe in curses. It’s something I think give credence too. In my grandparents era in Ireland, locals would do things curse the milk in their neighbour’s cow. A lot of the emigration from the country was people leaving in order to break a family curse upon themselves.
Also in the Peaky world, there are supernatural elements, especially with the Peakys having Gypsy ties. The sapphire was cursed and the bullet that was meant for Tommy shot Grace instead.
With regards to the Gypsy Curse, you have to remember the Shelby’s are gypsy, Romani Gypsy so will believe in the curses and telling fortunes as that is what they grew up with.
Tommy kills the bosses while his brothers kill the bodyguards. And the killings he does are for the crown- so he is playing a way different game. Red right hand = divine revenge
Remember what I said about how John looked at Lizzy S2E6. So Lizzy us dating the old man's son. So that's why Michael said she couldn't bring a wop to the wedding. Notice what tge priest said about them having Scotland Yard.
Paddy Constantine has been famous in the U.K. for years, he’s pretty selective with his work and doesn’t do a lot of roles. He’s mock iconic role was in the cult British movie deadman’s shoes
Tommy is one of my favorite TV Characters of all time but y'all think too highly of him lol He's not a good guy, and in certain situations he's been wrong. More of that will come out in later seasons tho. I was once blinded by Tommy's coolness 🤣
I dont understand how every reaction i see people dont believe in gypsi curses and witchcarft, believe me they are real 😂 here in argentina they are known as macumba or magia negra (black magic) and it is real you can harm other people
Gypsies believe in superstitions. So getting told that a sapphire is cursed is a big deal for them.
He picked the fight with the lees on purpose the first season. It was all part of his plan to work with Billy Kimber. Everything he does is with reason.
He fucked up on this one tho he didn't think of all the outcomes like he usually does.

The saphire was cursed it was not a mark for a target... the bullet was meant for Tommy not Grace.

The first time I watched this I could not believe that grace is dead and I still dont believe it 😢😢😮😮
Tommy didn't attack the LEE's because he was triggered, it was all a plan to make them the enemy the an ally to overthrow his contenders.
season 04 is my all time favorite
Tommy kills the bosses while his brothers kill the bodyguards.
And the killings he does are for the crown- so he is playing a way different game.
