      Farts so loud and fast that it gave off a shockwave of precision Against the air and the sound are delaying because our ears can't process all of it.

      @EF Exactly. Getting my new 1 piece jug 80cc engine kit. I was thinking of putting a body kit; homemade or bought. Put like a high performance cooling fan on one side with an air tunnel to cool while driving. Of course, putting some performance on it. Just exhaust mod, boost bottle, porting, and maybe a race carburetor. Probably adding 1-3 hp.

    Seems like you really know what you are doing with these. The engine runs great. Any advice on where I should buy a kit with a motor as good as this? and the process of assembling it? What needs to be done to maintain it once it's assembled? I know it's a lot but would be super helpful. Sick bike!

    It's pretty cool that a stock 66cc will go that fast, but you have to register them, and they're really loud. I decided to annoy my neighbors less, and avoid registration by going with a 48cc, and putting my $35,000 automotive education to work. Now I have a pretty quiet bike, running 11:1 compression, that's statically super-charged three different ways, and currently reaches 39mph on flat road. The drawback: HEAT!!! My God the heat!!! I wish they made some better cooling heads for these little engines, because on a hot day, I spend more time managing heat than going fast. My next engine will be 66cc for sure.

    My 80 CC has what I believe is an expansion chamber for exhaust muffler. When 2 stroke motorcycles were produced most notably Kawasaki 750 Expansion chambers were added to increase Horsepower. They act as a sort of supercharger. Once intake stroke fills cylinder having expansion chamber overfills into exhaust and then pressure of chamber forces fuel back into cylinder increasing charge. So if you left muffler alone bike would actually be faster! Sound of expansion chamber exhaust is unmistakable. Ratty loud sound.

    There are too many things that can cause brake failure on these Huffy coaster brake bikes. The spoke ring can break loose and spin on the hub. The rear axle can snap. The clip that holds the rear sprocket secure can pop off. The pin which holds the front sprocket to the crank can brake off. The chain can break. The chain can come off the sprocket. The Nel Lusso and Cranbrook are just too unsafe to ride at speed. I'd suggest spending more and putting better brakes on.

    What do you use to keep your bike from being stolen(assuming you've ridden it to go places)? Just a regular lock? That's the main thing I'm worried about since around here you'll regular see a bike frame chained up with it's tires an seat stolen, or a single wheel left locked to a bike stand at places like train stations, so I'm trying to come up with something to prevent my shit from being stolen, and at the very least if it is make it essentially useless to anyone but me and trackable with something like a small arduino GPS/sim card module stuffed inside the frame that is activated if they hit the wrong switch trying to figure out how to start it.

    • @MotoredLife
      @MotoredLife  7 років тому +3

      Lucas Mayfield first start be super easy on the throttle stay under 3/4 wide open but don't let it 4-stroke. rly gotta let the metal heat up and the cool down to harden if you go WOT at crazy times the heat can warp the jug. I always suggest starting stock to have ground base for testing reasons but I havnt have any real issues starting upgraded. but those parts make you want to go fast and you rly cant at first.

      i just recieved some jets 60, 65,70,75,80 sizes and i have no clue where to start. i see yours runs with no four stroking at all. mine always 4 strokes with the stock carb then gets better after like 8 minutes of hard running.i heard that a 65 works well at sea level from a forum and tried it and it ran perfect and (also the c clip is all the way to the top notch being leanest). i checked the plug after a quick 5 minute speed run and it was starting to turn white(a little bit). im thinking it was too lean. so i put the 70 in and it started bogging like it was before at higher speeds. would a 67 or 68 be perfect for me? how is jetting really determined in an engine just like yours?

      Front brakes are always recommended. Rear coasters can heat up and lock up

    wow! that looks like soooooo much fun!!! just waiting for my kit to turn up in the post, only prob is that i have to buy a new frame as my bike has double shocks + not enough clearance on frame to fit engine..... cool vid bro, makes me more eager to find a suitable frame :) peace!

    hey I have the same bike and engine kit and I'm having trouble what the chain alignment and chain tensioner

    • @Joaofigas1
      @Joaofigas1 6 років тому

      Do what i did , before you use a chain tensioner put the chain direct from engine to wheel and cut what u dont need , make sure u left at least 1 finger of space so chain cant be sticked otherwise will break , then just put the chain tensioner , not to put the chain aligned and straight but just to make sure it never goes off the wheel

    Sounds like slight seizing? What are the valves set to on these motors typically?
    I'm going to be getting one soon. Practically the exact setup off ebay. Been driving scooters for over a decade and plan to sell everything out that I own, very sad, but I'll be able to get my license reinstated..
    Any pointers what so ever? I plan to get a headlight, turn signals and brake light just because I dont want to much bad attention, and I get lazy with hand signals anywho.

    My Nel Russo has a welded rack to it. I will be removing that silly chrome button and will likely go with a four-stroke motor. It had some rust in various parts when it was pulled off of the rack at WalMart. Probably needs better bearings or at least re-greasing the originals. Not sure how long the tires will last and looking at Kevlar ones. I can't tell if you added a disc brake or not though. You are lucky to not be running down here in Wichita Falls, as the cops love to zap guys who run stop signs as you did in the video. :-) I like the looks or my Nel Russo bike, but may trim off the bike rack and slap on a friction-drive unit. However, I may save that for another cruiser that does not require the modification to the rack assembly. I enjoyed the video. Too bad you had to sell it. Any issues on the build, such as the coaster brake not holding up well or such?

    • @MotoredLife
      @MotoredLife  4 роки тому

      Yeah that frame broke at the rack! And hey whoa I slowed way down for the stop sign in my neighborhood! Lol
