I got mine to 43mph the bike Weighs 65pounds and with me 210 pounds....this is a stock engine during the break in period.
Personally I know I can go faster.....But to afraid to go faster.... stock sprocket with 29inch rims.
It takes off a little slow but builds up speed...I’m gonna leave it stock, way to dangerous on a very light bike.

I dont get why these kids keep changing the oil ratio in a 2 stroke that calls for 32 to 1. Your not improving the motor changing it out of spec like that. You just jet a 2 stroke correctly and set it up correctly oil ratio wont matter the start with. You all think its giving you more power lol.... Your just shorting your motors life. Anything that motor does on 32 to 1 it can 40 to 1

that nitrous set up is crappy nos is super cold its going to crack all that plastic i used a brass canister i machined myself with neoprine gaskets from nos the company nos ! you should hear a really loud whine once you open the nitrous you should have waited to hit top speed before hitting it so you have max fuel flow turning it on at low rpm will wear on motor . you should hit about 60 -70 mph on nitrous

FYI, going downhill does not = an engine's top speed.
This test is heavily flawed as it's repeatedly done on a downhill run. Guess what, you can do faster than that on a bike with no engine and not pedaling if you have a steep enough hill... or if you just throw that PoS off a bridge.

How do you increase the fuel when shooting nos? Is it overly rich to begin with? Without extra fuel you will burn a piston.
Keep a check on the porcelain of your spark plug, when specks of aluminium appear the piston is melting.
Toss the nos, and get a18mm mikuni with about seven inches of intake, and tune it.
Nice bike, and remember gadgets make people rich, not horsepower.

I would like to see you install a myriad of aftermarket high performance parts, including a tuned pipe, carburetor, air filter etc.
Once you add the carburetor and exhaust pipe try filling up the tank with like 103 octane Sunoco 260 GT 'race' fuel. Really its just high octane gas that we cant get at the pump here in the us. Once you add the new carburetor and pipe I believe the compression ratio may increase? Either way it is probably already 10:1 or higher so it would benefit from race gas no matter what folks wanna tell you. If you aren't already using high performance synthetic 2 stroke racing oil then I suggest you try Red Line 2T synthetic racing 2 stroke oil as it has the best performance out there and best reviews. once i switched to it i noticed a 15% or so improved mid range and slight top speed increase on my goped sport scooter.
Also idk if this is a geared bike but if you plan on getting more top speed out of it, may want to try a geared Trek or a bike frame designed for engine kit to be attached and jack shaft kit to usher in a much more usable power spread through whatever amount of gears the chosen bike has.

    • @marcs4091
      @marcs4091 4 роки тому

It's doable but it's tough to get it done without a tensioner. On one of my bikes I put about 300 miles on it when it was new woth no tensioner. Ran great and then all the sudden one day I guess the change stretched a little bit. Could never get it to run right without popping the chain after that.

I had no problem getting 32-35mph... But the chain is making a crazy amount forces! To go faster than 40 it has to converted to a belt drive or something. That amount of chain is just too much force for a bike chassis and wheel... In my opinion

I have a metal gear replacement for the Tensioner, but am going to add back the plastic 'thing'on a spring to keep out chain 'wobble'.I hate it when the chain stretches, and you can see the flex.I've just done 4th tighten on new chain and see 1/2" flex and can feel it riding.

Thats awesome. Ive been watching your vids and subscribed. Whats your thoughts on single speed vs 5 spd with sic bikes jackshaft running those gears? I have a 1988 Schwinn Cruiser 5 or 1954 Monark Super Deluxe single spd. I wanting to put together one or the other but wanted your input.
I have a collection of old bike and now this makes these bikes worth collecting. I might do both bikes but whats your take on which you would do first?

Jack shafts are honestly too much work and upkeep and they ILLEGAL anywhere in the US. you need registration if it has multiple speeds.
I have a new SBP HD kit in a box now wont use it.
