This is the second track of the series of Remastered Themes. For who still don’t know what the Remastered Themes are, basically Disney released during 2018 a CD with the Remastered Versions of the best soundtracks of the original six Star Wars movies, with better quality, sound and some modifications. For this track in particular I used of course the remastered versions of Qui-Gon's Funeral and Padmé's Destiny, and plus I used a rare clean version of Padmé’s Funeral, without the annoying sfx effects like the voices in the background.

Technically they did “try” and help him, by telling him to let go of whoever/whatever was causing him that pain.
In the moment the jedi thought they were genuinely helping him let go of hate, but they only made him bitter as one really cant just let go like that.
Later on yoda and obiwan rectify their mistake with luke and (when going by the original EU) luke goes on to allow attachments in his new order.
TLdr: They thought they helped but ultimately sounded like the “depression is in your head” crowd.

Technically, Sidious killed her. Padme was alive, and she was fine. Her lost will to live? Was more to do with Sidious influencing the force to kill her, and on top of that, whatever remained left of good inside of Anakin, thus ceasing his life as him and becoming full fledged Vader. Sidious knew he could not FULLY control him until what was tying him to his life was destroyed. Then years later when his children, Luke mostly, returned to his life... oh how, he must've felt his love for Padme which transpired onto his children and he could not bare that pain/loss again.

There was only silence, in that moment, when Anakin and Padmé exhaled their last breath in unison. Their children's fate sealed in time with Vader's mask. Padmé had drowned in misery and Anakin had drowned in molten magma. For many years, Darth Vader stewed within the fires that devoured his very soul.
But that all changed when a young man shot down the death star, when a untrained child stood his ground even in the lieu of his very own dismemberment. The boy had the strengths of Windu, the wisdom of Yoda, The patience of Obi-Wan, The blood of the chosen one and the heart of Naboo. And beyond the rattiling breaths of his fickle lungs, Darth Vader sunk far into the broiling lava and allowed himself to be destroyed, and from the surface burst Anakin Skywalker, who could only look upon in wonder, at Luke Skywalker.

The story, the action, the sadness, the visuals are all astounding, but the music... well I never heard a better score for a movie anywhere else, and I've seen a lot of movies. It's beyond me of how John Williams created such a magnificent soundtrack for a movie. Revenge of the Sith has all the greatest musics of Star Wars, you can hear across the stars, the imperial march, duel of the fates, the emperor theme, padme/qui son funeral, plus some original tracks like Battle of the Heroes, Anakin's Dark Deeds, Anakin's Betrayal.

Alright so I've never seen a Star Wars movie in my life, until I watched Solo a few months back. From there, I decided to watch all 3 trilogies, starting with the prequels (a suggestion from my dad.), and I'll give my honest opinions here.
Prequels - Absolutely amazing. Very loveable characters, and an interesting introduction to the universe of Star Wars. I grew attached to the characters quickly, and loved every second of the trilogy. I was immediately surprised at how dark the movies turned starting with Attack of the Clones. Anakin slaughtering the Tusken Raiders brought chills to my spine. I knew he would one day be Darth Vader, because how couldn't you know that these days, but seeing the transition first hand was bone chilling. It was subtle, but masterful, and I quickly realized the turns it was taking. The action was great, and Obi-Wan was my favorite character. I'm glad they didn't alienate Anakin's reasons for turning to the dark side. It was odd, but I could honestly understand and even slightly agree with his choices, as awful as they were. And then there was Order 66. Jesus.
Originals - God, what to say. First thing's first, the OGs didn't seem to age well. Being spoiled with amazing effects in movies these days, and the pretty good effects of the prequels, I can say I was a bit underwhelmed with the action and such at first. But the story. The story was amazing, especially after having seen the Prequels first. Everything felt connected, and seeing this galaxy lost after the catastrophic events in the Prequels was eerie. It was like I was Obi-Wan, the "last living" Jedi who had seen the atrocities and the fall of the Republic first hand, now witnessing a world without it, under the oppression of the Sith, and in the shadow of the Republic's fall. I felt like the rise of the Rebellion was a great story to tell, and the resolution was great, what with Luke reuniting with Anakin... Seeing Anakin like that after all that time was sort of nostalgic, and sad, like seeing an old friend on their deathbed... Which reminds me, watching Obi-Wan die was also very jarring, and sad as well.
Sequels - Basically like watching the Originals again. All Disney did was remake the Empire in the form of the First Order, remake the Rebellion in the form of the Resistance, remake the Death Star in the form of Star Killer Base, remake Darth Vader in the form of Kylo Ren, remake the Luke Skywalker arc in the form of Rey, revived Palpatine, and did the exact same thing that the OG Trilogy did. The visuals were nice, and I loved The Last Jedi for those aspects, especially the battle on Crait, and the scene where Admiral Holdo sacrificed herself (God that scene was visually pleasing). Other than that, I really disliked the Sequels.
Anywho, I hoped you all enjoyed my opinion! I'm glad I could finally finish the Star Wars films, and I've just recently started on Clone Wars (Which I've heard is amazing, and I'm already enjoying it.) I hope my opinion somehow helped you!

"The bombs fell on the palace in naboo as the empire started their assault, but it was an odd assault.
Few troops landed, only a few walkers and fighters, taking out our Anti-air blasters.
My fingers trembled as the city rumbled from the wake. As a guard that watched over our queens tomb,
I looked at the smoke and out came walking a man in black.
My heart felt as if it had stopped beating and Fear took over me as the second most powerful being within the empire came walking toward the tomb.
Darth vader. The butcher of the rebellion,The iron fist of the empire, and the jedi executioner.
I raised my weapon ready to defend the queens final resting place, but to my surprise he stood over me as he stopped in front.
He was not looking at me, but the tomb. He pulled out his lightsaber, yet didnt activate it. He just pushed me aside rather than killing me.
He walked close to our queens final resting place and stopped mid way as if respecting the dead
queens space. He stood there for about 3 minutes and reached out to touch the face of the queen as
if he was saying goodbye. He turned around and walked back, but not without turning to me. He looked at
me and said only a few words. Those words puzzle me to this day and I was spared.
The words he told me were 'guard her well'. After that, the walkers and the fighters retreated
as if nothing happened. All that remained were the fires from the AA blasters and the sound of the rain.
Many guards and citizens say it was a fearful day.
But to me...it was a rather sad day. And I just dont know why."

Little knowledge: you can hear a slight hint of "Across the Stars" before the "Imperial March" starts to consume both the funeral theme and it. You only hear the first two notes of the melody after you hear the "Force" motif, then the funeral theme covers it along with the march.
You're essentially hearing Anakin's heart giving way to grief and submitting to his new role.

The looming tragedy of a Anakins downfall, the birth of the empire, but also a small glimmer of hope in Luke and leia found in the binary sunset, and the short bit of imperial march to show the darkness they will have to face. Flawless, perfect, and very fitting. The day we lose John Williams is the day we lose the best composer in history in my opinion. This is why Anakin and Vader are the greatest characters in all of Star Wars.

Say whatever you want about the prequels, but at least they had these: those few moments, those few scenes, so filled with emotion and impact that, years after, we remember them, we keep watching them, and we keep enjoying them. Prequels had moments that belong to the cinema legends and stayed with us, because they were created with passion.
Sequels failed because they had no soul, no vision, no true artistic passion with it, and thus could not produce any moment like this. That's the difference between art and money-making-machine movie.
Proof: when working on the prequels, John Williams (eternal praise upon him) created THIS.

    • @shermanlee4037
      @shermanlee4037 2 роки тому +1

The prequels were a mix. The action sequences, the music, and the acting was mostly good (yes, including Hayden Christensen), when the acting wasn't good I blame Lucas' and the producers' more than the cast. The sequence where Obi Wan and Anakin fight on Mustafar, the emergency starship landing on Coruscant, there were many magnificent visual sequences. And any scene with Ian McDiarmid crackled with life. It's no accident that the scene where Palpatine tells Anakin about Darth Plagius has become the identifying scene of that movie, the one people tend to remember, even more than the final lightsaber duel.
But...the _story_ was weak in many ways. The idea of Jedi being trained from pre-school age, that was just plain _stupid_ on Lucas' part, and it messed up everything that came after. Likewise, the idea that Naboo would _elect_ a 14 year old as head of state/government in a time of high interstellar tension, and that apparently they do that sort of thing a lot...stupid. Unbelievable.
And in spots the prequels conflict with the originals. Yoda tells Luke in TESB that to become a Jedi needs 'deep commitment and serious mind'. You don't find deep commitment and serious mind in 3 years olds. Luke asks Leia in RotJ if she can remember her 'real mother', and she _can_ . Apparently in the original conception her mother died when Leia was tiny, but in the prequels she died when Leia was minutes old.
So the prequels have some great bits and some real problems, too.

"Was it worth it?" He can hear her say in his memories, or was she saying it to him right now in spirit, perhaps standing beside him looking down at her own tomb.
"I only wanted to protect you, everything I did I did for you and our children" For what feels like an eternity he is no longer Darth Vader, no longer the burned and scarred man he had become, but his younger self again. He was Anakin Skywalker once again but only for this moment, only to talk to Padme.
"Such a high cost then, Anakin, everything you trained and fought for resulted in a monster and the end of my life. So was it worth it? All the power you have now, an army at your command, was it worth it?"
Part of him wishes to reach out and stop the slaughter but another part, an angry part of himself, wanted the slaughter to increase in some hollow attempt to tune out the grief in his heart and the failure he felt at not being able to save Padme.
Looking over to her, where she stands as vital and alive as she did so many years before, he can only think of a single response:
"No" She fades away into oblivion with sadness in her wake as Anakin sinks back into himself as once again his grief consumes him and Darth Vader returns. Turning from the tomb of his beloved, he walks away back into the slaughter that his actions have brought about. All his deeds laid bare.

I remember watching this in the cinema, and though I knew this had to be the way of the story, it still broke my heart. The way she went, the tragedy of Anakin's fall.
I also remember vividly, when I heard Carrie Fisher passing, and THEN her mom dying, this music automatically came into my mind and my heart broke for them, both.
For me, I also felt that it legitimately gave me confirmation that people, in under the worst circumstances, like Padme, can pass with a broken heart.
This soundtrack of music, is a wonderfully made song. But gosh it's painful to listen to sometimes, such sorrow and such sadness.

Honestly....was beautiful in so many ways. With only 12 episodes, in my opinion I felt like the last 3 episodes were rushed. Nonetheless the entire finale season was SOOOOOOOO FUCKIN GOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! There is so much I loved about Season 7 but these moments below really stood out to me
I loved how it was from Ashoka nd Rex's point of view (some of my favorite characters in Star Wars) I only wished we got to see more of 1)Padme Skywalker (even her feel Anakin's betrayal) 2)Obi-Wan nd 3)Anakin's rise to The Dark Side from Ashoka's point of view. When Maul explained how Anakin Skywalker was the prophecy of not balance but of destruction to the galaxy, nd him nd Ashoka felt Anakin's betrayal I was overjoyed with excitement. Yes what happened was tragic but knowing what was happening, knowing what happens next nd further down the story excited me.
Once Order 66 was initiated, I thought Rex would help Ashoka, having his chip removed (forgot he didn't) Seeing Rex stop his brothers from shooting Ashoka saying he'll do it, crying as he was unwilling forced to kill her or any Jedi, resisting the chip implanted in his head for a few seconds while informing Ashoka of Five's theory of the chip jst before giving in to it really made me love Rex more. Before he goes gun frenzy shooting Ashoka with the other clones, he gives her advice nd a chance showing that he wasn't some mindless clone once the chip was activated, showing that he was still him nd he cared for Ashoka. It was really kewl seeing them team up to survive against the clone troopers, but sad also seeing them fight her friends (especially the ones who painted their helmets in honor of her return), his brothers (even though she only reflected their blasters away nd Rex set his blasters to stun) Even with The Clones turned against them, Ashoka still felt they were ppl, not clones, not traitors but ppl they fought alongside nd treated like family nd chose not to kill them.
After they survived, the ruined crashed ship, the burial of the clones (the music nd no dialogue made this scene even more depressingly beautiful) as Rex watches Ashoka stands over their fallen comrades. Nd when she dropped her lightsaber (to get rid of it to not bring attention to her) nd signifying that her journey as a Jedi or having anything to do with The Republic has now come to a end.
I could feel the sense of hopeless, that all the hardwork she nd her Jedi nd Clonetrooper brethren made has been crushed, the galaxy she fought alongside her Masters, other Jedi's, her clonetrooper brethren is even more destroyed than before Order 66, that her Jedi brethren are either dead, being hunted nd now forced to hide. Nd now herself has to hide, to avoid capture nd or death.
Then when I see the stormtroopers on Hoth (years after Order 66 nd the fall of The Jedi nd Rise of The Empire) nd Darth Vader make his first presence, walking towards the wreckage Ashoka nd Rex survived (Seeing Darth Vader made me loose it, his story is tragic but he's one of the baddest nd one of my favorite villians) He finds Ashoka's lightsaber, ignites it nd looks up to the sky, I could see past the monster machinery nd red lenses nd see Anakin's eyes (It was a moment of tears because not only did they make his creation in the series outstanding, he was trapped in a life supporting machine nd so much pain, so much anger, so much sadness, so much regret I could see nd feel when I saw his eyes) After deactivating her lightsaber he turns nd walks away with her lightsaber. An Ashoka honorable helmet is seen with Darth Vader walking away, signifying (in my opinion) was Anakin holding unto a memory of Ashoka (her lightsaber because he would do anything to make sure she's safe) nd his new identity as Darth Vader walking away from the past he once knew as Anakin Skywalker. No words can explain how speechlessly amazing the entire series nd season 7 ending was.
Man....each episode till the end was phenomenal nd even after I wanted more nd more to show. Great job, loved it loved it loved it fuckin loved it!!!!! Honestly this is the true meaning true nature of Star Wars, not this Disney wannabe bullshyt. After watching Rise of The Skywalkers it was all right nd kewl how it ended. Still nd will forever will believe after Star Wars Episode 6 Return of the Jedi no more movies should've been made nd to me that's when Star Wars ended.
Despite all the tragedy, violence death before nd after The Empire's birth, Darth Vader chose The Light, killing The Emperor nd becoming Anakin Skywalker again, The Rebels won nd balance was brought to the galaxy. I grew up on George Lucas Star Wars, Star Wars Rogue One is the only new movie that was actually sticking to nd with the story. Again loved how Star Wars The Clone Wars series ended💯💯💯💯
