Maul definitely earned a statue on Korriban as far as I am concerned. A true Sith completely and utterly destroying another’s entire life’s work in vengeance going to his death with no fear.
Well, despite Maul's cunning, he single-handedly destroyed the Sith through his own actions. The Zabrak put his own needs above the needs of the Order. All for petty revenge. Darth Bane would have been disgusted by him for destroying centuries of preparation.
@@StevenZissimos the rule of two era would be considered a weak abomination to the Sith of old because of how easily it was destroyed. The clear flaw in the rule of two is in the name. There are only two Sith and if they die, that’s the end. Bane probably would have been disgusted but Sith of Vitiates era would have applauded Maul as a true Sith.
Shouldn't Sith worship and honour fear as it is path to the dark side?
@@StevenZissimos Not at all. He sacrificed himself to destroy Sidious. So it's obviously not "put his own needs above", nor was it for petty revenge (like seriously, how can it be petty revenge?). The centuries of preparation were already subverted by Sidious, who turned on his apprentice multiple times and broke the code. Sidious was the one that put his own needs above the needs of the order. All for his petty ego and fear. Killing the master is literally in the job description, but Sidious has subverted that, so he has to be killed. Killing him was Sith justice (and justice in every other sense).
In any case, being selfish and revenge is literally part of being a Sith. The strength to take what you want and destroy what you want is literally what they do. I think Maul deserves a statue on both sides.
There is a way Grievous could have escaped: all of his lightsabers. He could cut his way out and survive in the vacuum of space long enough to make it to a CIS ship.
Or break the windows at the bridge maybe?
Pretty sure he still needs Oxygen. He still has a heart.
@@dannylopez5976and a brain I think
It's all internal. The only thing left of his original body is part of his head, brain, and internal organs, which are all sealed.@@dannylopez5976
@@dannylopez5976 in the movie he broke through the window of the Invisible Hand and made his way back inside. It took him at least a minute and I think a minute in space would be very detrimental to one’s health and that Grievous would have a far worse cough on Utapauh I can’t spell Utapuah.
Invisible Hand: **is blowing up**
General Grievous: **frantically scrabbles at the blast doors with all four arms while whimpering like a dog begging for its owner to let it outside**
I absolutely loved this, the last few minutes with Obi Wan and Anakin saying their goodbuys was also very touching
This one was... Very sentimental. I don't have the words to describe. It was an amazing and different what if, good job man!
Greetings from Brazil
Glad you enjoyed it, man :)
@@starwarsquill Same here
Alternate title: "Maul Goes Full Joker"
I guess Maul accidentally became the Chosen One xd
He obliterated the Sith Order, killing himself, Dooku, and Palpatine
Darth Vader never comes to exist
Grievous is killed too, the CIS leadership is essentially crippled, and the Empire never forms
The Shadow Collective is also decapitated with the death of Maul, and the Crimson Dawn almost certainly never forms
Bro, it took 34 minutes to get to the question on what if everyone died.
What if everyone died: ❌
What if Maul was on the invisible hand during ROTS: ✔️
Indeed, I’m 31 minutes in and are still wondering how it would affect the story.
This is why I usually don't watch these videos... I don't have free time to waste on nonsense.
He clearly tried to do it in a way that's actually believable within the Star Wars universe. Maul is definitely crazy enough to do something as extreme as suicide bombing all his enemies in one place. If you want to watch cheaply written fan-fic, Pente Patrol Star Wars is probably for you.
@@StevenZissimos I mean, that’s great and all but the build up was too long. We want to know what happened after and how it affects things.
@@nobbyfirefly57 to be frank, you can easily infer what happens next. The galaxy is no longer at war, the Sith are destroyed and the twins birthed by Padme get the freedom to choose how they want to live their lives, whether it leads to becoming Jedi or living as ordinary people. There's not much of a story to tell there. The process that leads to this outcome is far more interesting and takes a lot more work, which many fans under-appreciate in what-ifs (and stories in general).
I think Grievous could've survived, he could've tried to get the droids to make the escape pods work, however if that would've taken too long, and they would've find out the doors are also shut, escape through the window like Grievous did in ROTS, communicate with one of his countless droids to pick him up in a ship, and flee to Utapau, and lead the war effort till he eventually dies.
he would have a good chance of winning actually
Considering that his armor is vacuum sealed, he could just leap off into space and hitch a ride on a droid fighter to another ship
Great episode. Here are some ideas:
- What if the Skirata clan saved Fives.
- What if Anakin had been burned like Vader during the Clone Wars.
- What if Padme and Anakin crashed on a unknown planet and spent the entire War on it until the Empire Era.
Anakin in a white Vader-like Clone armor is interesting...
What If the Jedi joined the CIS/Separatists
Curious how someone would reason this one.
The Jedi would be against it with Dooku a known Sith leading them so something would need to change.
I could see one way this could actually happen, being count dooku having second thoughts and ultimately revealing the whole plot to the Jedi during the events of attack of the clones, the Jedi order goes to deal with sidous but fails justifying Sidous to redirect the first batch of clones to the Jedi temple and ordering order 66, the remaining Jedi who escape are taken in my dooku and recreate the Jedi order in his view, thus starting the clone wars though with the secret goal of dooku and the Jedi to liberate the republic from a Sith lord.
but its just food for thought.
@@Olivecheese965 The jedi would more likely try to hide from both side. But yes the only way any jedi would turn against the Republic is to learn Sidius's true identity. Perhaps, if it's combined with Dooku hiding his fall. In EP2 dooku uses a blue lightsaber, and not use force lighting. Showing himself as a jedi turning against the Republic instead of a jedi falling for the dark side. He would also try to reason with the Obi-Wan, and Yoda, that his intention are not evil, and remind them who made the first step in the war. Remind them, that right now Geonosis is on the defensive.
I love the way you wrote this what-if. You managed to tell a hypothetical scenario that ensured everyone was in character. Maul's characterisation here was especially compelling. You portrayed his insanity and obsession with revenge extremely well. Maul's foiling of Palpatine's plans became his only purpose, one that he accomplished through his own death. Brilliantly executed.
If you're interested in doing future what-if stories, I'd like to see you try doing one where Darth Maul is defeated and captured by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. Would love to see a scenario where Maul escapes imprisonment and returns to Palpatine, only to find he has been replaced by Dooku. This would create an interesting universe where there are now three Sith and Qui-Gon becomes Anakin's teacher.
A recommendation: what if the stress of everything got to Palpatine and he became an alcoholic?
ah yes, sheev did a little bit too many deathsticks
This has gotta be one of the best what ifs you have ever made! The moment when mauls plan got fully revealed was really something else!
That was a magnificient story! Only one thing that in my opinion was lacking is a note of forgiveness and respect the Jedi would have towards Dooku. He revealed the chips and the separatist council, after all. I think they would honor him, and Qui-Gon may actually help Dooku, Obi-Wan and Anakin become force ghosts.
Regardless, the story is great. Keep it up! Love your vids.
Insanely underrated. Your story-telling skills are superb.
The last three Sith die in a massive explosion. Darth Sidious, Darth Tyranus, and Darth Maul all meet their end and the Jedi finally come out on top.
Loved the video here's my recommendation What If Anakin Listened to Padme's Plea About Speaking to Palpatine about Ending the War your story telling and videos ideas are too underrated i hope you get 10k subs soon you deserve it
There’s a deleted scene where Palpatine tells Anakin that Padme cant be trusted and he kinda doesn’t dismiss it. Look up “delegation of 2000 deleted scene” you’ll find it…
@@starwarsquill Ive seen all the deleted scenes half of them should of been in the movies but are trying to say it can't be done or something? I just thought maybe alternative timeline or something plus where would the 2000 scene take place inside the movie before Padme's Plea or After the 2000 scene?
@@starwarsquillmakes sense, that'd be an odd character choice given his personal motivations during that intense era
@@BigSteve9713 yeah well I didn't think of it too much now I'm realising it's probably a weird what if
@@BigSteve9713 I just like what ifs that can break cannon and are unique
This was genuinely one of the best what ifs i've watched on youtube. The tension on every dialogue, it was great.
Gotta admit, your what if are the most unique and varied ones there is, love you videos specially emperor vader/anakin ones.
Solid story Quill. I can tell you put a lot of thought into these.
Man the regret of dooku the hate of maul and palps to the end anakin and padme and obi wan informing council was so good one of the best endings (Poor grievus he was propably singing ai songs with battledroids 😂)
What if the rebels air assaault to lothal was succefull or what if the governor of lothal don't shoot at the fuel, Kennan survived but then thrawn get the Imperial resources to his figther project
Got love Maul he had it right ❤. Palpatine is a manipulative bastard.
What if leia and starkiller were trained together
They’d probably help Vader kill the Emperor but the Emperor would expect that…
What if Anakin SOLO flow walked to the future and then to the past during the start of the clone wars to prepare the Republic&Jedi for the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. Jacen Solo took Tahiri Veila back to when Anakin Solo died using the Aing-Tii's technique of flow walking back in time. Anakin's sibling bond with Jacen allowed his spirit to follow back thru the flow walk to the future and existing in a shadow dimension unstuck in time similar to the realm of worlds between worlds and shadow his sibling and learning all of the force techniques that Darth Caedius knew until he was killed by his twin sister Jaina Solo Fel. He and then shadowed Jaina until she died but learned enough about flow walking to trace back to his earliest familial bonds to his father Han Solo after he was born just before the clone wars. Anakin Solo anchored himself in the time and place at Zenoma Sekot after Anakin Skywalker&Obiwan Kenobi fought against the Vong scouts and Sekot took off in the uncharted regions. After telling Sekot about the future&the Vong's invasion, Sekot grew him a new body and Anakin Solo took off for Coruscant just as the clone wars was about to start.
“Oh it’s beautiful…”
I think this might be the first time you’ve killed R2D2 in one of these videos. Poor C3PO is going to be so lonely in this timeline
this reminds me of when trigon dragged darkside into oblivion (forgot which comic it was)
Justice League Dark Apokolips War
When I saw the thumbnail I thought that the what if would be about the invisible hand blowing to dust when Anakin and Obi-Wan made their "happy landing" in the opening of Revenge of the Sith.
All Grievous needed to do was use all 4 of his lightsabers to cut a hole into the hanger bay and use his ship to get out.
13:50 -14:12
How it feels like being on your 1st job
Funny video.
And yeah, this would basically be good for the galaxy. Obi-Wan is collateral damage but the SW galaxy is much better off without everyone else...
Holy cow that was incredible.
What if Darth Nox trained Anakin Skywalker
"I've brought Amidala back!"
This was a very funny video
Jedi could just force bubble themselves in space until someone rescued them.
That's some Disney bs, I don't think the Prequels Jedi could do that
no such thing.
@@ZomboidMania Leia did it with minimal training.
Even if that was a thing they would still suffocate to death. It would actually be better if they just died immediately instead of using their powers to try and save themselves. Kinda goes in line with Jedi philosophy.
What if everyone died on the invisible hand? Roll credits.
@starwarsquill, I doubt you’ll ever read this but I got three videos ideas for you. Base on the same idea. Quigon ginn. Whar would have happen if he appeared to Skywalker before he reach mace and palpatine, before Vader and the 501st got to the top of the stairs to the Jedi temple, or as obi wan and Vader were fighting on mustivar? Sorry for spelling
I sont mewn to be rude, but, given the republic navy were happy to bombard the invisible hand irrespective of the high value hostage on board, its not difficult to imagine a few (un)lucky shots hitting something a bit too important and vaporising everyone inatantly. You don't need to lead with Maul doing anything.
StarWarsQuill
I have video suggestion
What if Geonosis Droid Factory, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala found themselves trapped in a Geonosian factory when their mission to rescue Obi Wan Kenobi went awry.
R2 D2 died.
Jedi and the senator had to battle Geonosian drones.
Two unfortunately didn’t avoid the assembly line’s deadly stampers, cutters and crucibles. Nobody saved Padmé from a fatal dip in molten alloy.
But Anakin lost his saber was destroyed.
Anakin then lost both of his hands.
Anakin died of broken heart.
Unique story. Should be a what if story. Bravo

Please consider do an Part 2.
We need a sequel to this story!
That's a very interesting what if. Maul, while his motives are extremely selfish, inadvertently become the hero of the galaxy and killing the thousand year Sith grand plan. On top of getting revenge on his former master, his rival, and the teo replacements.
While I expected their deaths to all be the result of a stray turbolaser blast, or the crashing of a starfighter into the chamber, this scenario was far less anti-climatic.
I would not think Padme will surrender her children to the jedi order at the end of the day a mother will never surrender her children to anyone.
I think it would have been more interesting, if Maul were survived by not going there, and the ship going down by the Republic attack instead. But this one is also great. Maul showing to be more, than just a murder machine after all. It would also mean, that the Republic does not learn about Utapau, and Order 66. Latter doesn't matter, but the former means, that the war won't end so easily.
As for other idea. What if Dooku were betrayed Sidius on Geonosis? Basically he would cut contact with Palpatine, and simply use separatists to their full power to defeat the Republic.
video idea:
What if Vader had failed to throw Sidious into the reactor shaft, thus allowing Palpatine to kill both of the Skywalkers?
In this scenario, it's conceivable that when Vader, now Anakin, attempted to hurl Palpatine into the reactor shaft, the Emperor countered effectively. Palpatine could have used Force Crush to immobilize Vader's legs, causing him to collapse to the ground. This would have resulted in Vader losing his grip on Palpatine, allowing the Emperor to seize the opportunity and eliminate both of them.
What if anakin left the jedi order when he was young like he want to do in the comics and sidious turns him to the dark side shortly after anakin leaves the jedi order
What if rebels discovered star forge and used it against empire
Ahsoka:Maul I'm here to capture...Where is he?.....🫤☹️*Throne empty* Well dang feric...
Lol😂😂😂😂 good what if
4/15/24 4:15am cst, earth, the milky way galaxy
*sup, future kelan* 😎
What if maul killed Palpatine and dooku before anakin and obi wan got to the invisible hand
How about what if sipho dias never died and duku never found out about the clones
That was a good one
Artooo!!!!
Well, that would definitely make it boring😂
Kidding 😂
What if Plageius essence transferred into Yoda after Palpatine tried to kill him in his sleep?
Great Story
It would have been a real short movie....
F moment.
What if Padme told the Jedi Council about her marriage to Anakin?
None of them would be too surprised I think…
Wow this was pretty dark
All top players of the clone wars in one place....
What if the invisible hand was actually invisible?
What If Anakin Killed Palpatine when he told him that he was a sith.
what if Anakin and Padme joined the separatist? or half the jedi order split from the republic to join the seps
Dooku and Anakin might join forces against Sheev
I have an idea for this scenario. What if Palpatine is not a sith lord. He is just a conventional pollitician. Maul does not exist either, and the whole separatist war is a real one. Dooku is not fallen to the Dark side, but simply a jedi who wish to end the Republic corruption, and has sympathy for the outer rim. This would create a scenario where many jedi would not be sure, if the Republic is the right side.
Dooku would convince Anakin by pointing out, that the Republic was at peace for a thousand years. "For a thousand years the Republic could have destroyed the Hutts, and all other slavers, but instead. They let them be while enjoying the slaves' cheap labor, and buying all the cheap stuff made by the slavers. Pretending to have the moral high ground by not having slavery in their borders while benefitting the slavery outside of their borders. Even Naboo that preserved their nature so much imported precious metals from the Hutts. Who do you think worked in those mines?"
The clones wouldn't exist either, or would be made later on. The Republic would rely on militias, and mercenaries during the early stage.
Based on the old republic etc why wouldnt they make being a sith illegal?
Assume the Republic has risen and fallen tens of thousands of times. It makes sense that some laws wouldn't be on the books anymore now that sith follow the rule of two.
Hello there
300th like 👍
Not sure why everyone is praising this. I was looking forward to a story about what if everyone died on the invisible hand. But there was no story. It was just everyone dying on the invisible hand. Thanks for wasting 37 minutes of my life!
couldnt maul just blow up the invisble hand? leaving him as the only one alive of the sith and start a new mandolarian war
im curious as to how maul would rule and also what would happen with both a republic and the cis effectivly withouth leaders
What if Dooku killed Sheev Palpatine, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi - Wan Kenobi onboard The Invisible Hand????
