Great video, Yvonne! I've been curious about these filters. I wasn't aware of Nisha, I'll have to look into that. Maybe not the best quality, but an affordable way to experiment before upgrading to the premium filters. I remember Lomography had some fun looking filters back when too. Then they got into the art lens business. Some of those pretzvals are really cool, but not $400 cool, lol. I loved your photos in this video, and I can see why the rose garden set are your faves. Mine too, especially the one at 5:46. That's one for the port right there. The white hole effect is very nice indeed. K&F Concept make some nice filters too. I have the black mist filter from them. That's really the only effect filter I've messed with though. I'll have to try some of these others. Looking forward to the Doubleshot review. Half frame is having quite a resurgence this year with the Pentax 17 and whatnot. I enjoyed those photos you posted on insta from the doubleshot. Cheers for now!
Ah yes! The lomography art lenses! I've often longed to try them, but I agree, the $400 price point is a bit steep for novelty! Thanks for watching, and do stay tuned for the doubleshot! I might have to pick up the new pentax at some point too, hoping the price will go down a bit by next year!
Very cool video. I love to play with filters too and I've been living in China for the past 14 years, and here there are tons of filters just like those for around $12-20usd... :)
Cokin also makes a set of creative filters including similar ones that you showed. I’ve been using and collecting theirs since the mid 1970s. By the way, have you tried shooting through a black nylon stocking stretched over your lens for a soft diffusive effect? I use it to counteract the clinical characteristic of modern lenses and produce a more vintage look.
I really want to try the nylon thing! I thought it might be fun at some point to do a "testing viral photography hacks" video but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll check out the Cokin line! I hadn't heard of it!
@@YvonneHansonPhotography - I made a version of the black stocking filter by sandwiching it with two pieces of thin black cardboard with the center cutout and sized it to fit in my Cokin filter holder. But when I'm lazy I just stretch a piece of nylon over the lens.
Not related to this video, but what's your opinion on Kodak Alaris, the company that markets and sells Kodak photographic film, has been sold to Kingswood Capital Management, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm?
@@YvonneHansonPhotographyYour information is really good; so informative. You are a really good presenter/speaker! I like giving you praise because you deserve it - that’s hard work.
Cool photos! Now I want to go play with my Lensbaby lens.
Bold of you to assume I still have any of my lens caps😅
@@PennyOMG too real 😭
Realllll 😅😅😅
I buy them in bulk.

I just picked up a used multi image prism, want to try it with studio lights now.

Oh dang! These are cool! I neeeeeeed
aliexpress have a good selection of these types of filters too. It's a cheap option if you're willing to wait for the slow shipping.
What about their questional, at best, customer service?
What have you experienced? Just wanna know before considering a purchase…

Woah that's news to me! I gotta read about this, I hadn't heard anything about it yet
Interesting, I had a bad experience with these filters for this company. Had to return 2 of them.
What happened with them?
Love your work!
@@tj2375 thank you so much!
Maybe decaff is the way to go Yvonne?😂 Or I guess I could slow the video down 🤷♂️🤣 Yup I agree these kind of filters have their place. 👍📸
@@SloopJohnBeeRockabilly you can slow the video down! There's a gear icon in the corner to adjust the settings!
Interesting that you deleted the PrismLensFx comment response.

Damn, I wasn't planning on spending money this month...
Did you try the Midas filter? I was waiting for some results from that
I'm going to try it next!
Sweeeeeeet!
Or you could buy the from China, cost 10 to 15 usd, they are exactly the same, probably made in the same factory.
