If you see an Eevee, it would more then likely be a male 87.5% of the time eevee is male while 12.5 of the time eevee is female . If your eevee has spikey pattern on the tail it is a male if it has a rounded patter it is a female.

Hmm yes you are right but the term "mythical" wasn't announced in the US till I the mid to late generation of Pokemon because the term mythical is just a fancy word of "most rare legendary" that can only be obtained through events and are much harder to get so there really is no difference between the two other then how you obtain them not what they are in general which are legendary ^^
